Happy FBI Day! The 2-Year Anniversary is Today!

Today is the second anniversary of “FBI DAY”. This is the day in Placer County Republican History when Karen Stafford England (no relation to David Stafford Reade) alleged that the FBI visited her home to talk about, of all things, the finances of the Placer GOP.

This was parlayed in to a front-page attack in the Sacramento Bee quoting Doug LaMalfa accusing George Park and Tom Hudson of felonies.

Also note that someone (who I believe is a member of the Cent Com) filed a simultaneous FPPC complaint against the Placer GOP Cent Com.

On the two year anniversary of FBI day – take note of the following:

1. Several members of the Lincoln Tea Party were recruited to run for Placer GOP Cent Com by an insane operator in Sac County who still believes there is something to the charges.

2. Doug LaMalfa, Ted Gaines and Beth Gaines – who were all involved in the media drill have not apologized nor attempted to make amends for their role in the front-page article in the Sacramento Bee on 7-11-2011. It is the opinion of this blogger that they think the Placer GOP did the wrong thing by not endorsing them in 2012!

(please note that the Sacramento Bee pulled the article down – but they forgot to pull it down from the Modesto Bee. More on that later)

3. The above three are expected to align themselves with Pro-Choice, No on Prop-8 Liberal Republicans who have used the vacuous attacks in an attempt to gain control of the Central Committee at its’ January organizational meeting. Please note that all three claim to be pro-life and pro-prop-8.

4. The primary accuser, Karen Stafford England (no relation to David Stafford Reade) has disappeared from the local political scene after getting hammered repeatedly for starting World War III in Placer County – even though we are still dealing with the after effects.

5. Liberal Billionaire Charles Munger funded $45k worth of advertisements in addition to $11k from the liberal Republican group, Republican Congress of Placer County in an attempt to help the effort of the above three with their efforts.

Mike Holmes, Cheryl Bly-Chester and Dianne Foster have all been reported to this blogger to have repeatedly in public accused the Placer GOP of corruption based largely on the Bee article, the anonymous FPPC Complaint and the accusation of an FBI investigation. Some of my reports are eyewitness.

All three are regarded as Liberal Republicans.

Please note that Karen England is now officially being labeled as a liar. Two years have passed and the FBI has not called anyone nor shown up at anyone’s door. But, it still didn’t stop a State Senator, the Mayor of Auburn and a few other disgruntled liberals from repeating said lie to any group that will listen.

Maybe they will all put a sock in it by the third anniversary? I am not holding my breath.

Jim Nielsen is beating a drum – if you hammer him for his record, you’re a liar. Click here to see our post from last year lambasting Jim Nielsen for his role in decimating the CAGOP Platform.

Unfortunately, for gentleman Jim, he has been in office too long to get away with anything. Actually, he has been on both sides of so many issues he is using that to double-speak any of his critics. Case and point – Periphrial Canal – He opposed Jerry Brown’s Canal, but supported George Deukmejian’s. He voted to put Prop 14 on the ballot, but then opposed Prop 14 once on the ballot. He called members of the legislature to go up on Prop 1A – the largest tax increase in state history, then voted against it on the floor of the Assembly.

Nielsen was also on both sides of the California Republican Party Platform debate. But, what he did as a member of the drafting committee was so egregious that he will not recover politically from the exposure.

In the drafting Committee – the minutes show that Jim Nielsen was out in front, leading the charge for the Platform for California’s Future. This platform had the pro-life, prop-8, 2nd amendment, and a whole bunch of other Republican issues stripped out of it.

It was so watered down that it even had the ethics section deleted! Click here for a full analysis between the previous CRP platform and the one that Jim Nielsen advocated for.

Click here to see the minutes from the Platform Drafting Committee Meeting. Nielsen was the first to speak towards its’ adoption and he made the motion to adopt said platform (Called the Platform for California’s Future). Conservative leaders Mike Spence and Craig DeLuz led the opposition.

Note as well that there were amendments proposed to bring parts of the “Pruner Platform” in to the Jim Nielsen Platform. They were all torpedoed.

The amendment to add paragraphs 3-8 of page 8 was adding Pro-Life language to the Nielsen platform. It was voted down. The amdnement to add paragraph 2 of page 5 was adding Prop-8 to the Nielsen platform. It was voted down.

I was called the day of the Drafting committee meeting by Steve Frank and I also spoke to Craig DeLuz. They both told me that Jim Nielsen was leading the debate for the watered-down platform the entire meeting. Mike Spence later confirmed the same story and he added that David Stafford Reade (who was expelled from CRA for 10 years for committing fraud) was there with Jim Nielsen.

You see, when legislative staff come forward to tell me that Jim Nielsen is making calls to try and recruit people to support the largest tax increase in state history – it gets my attention. When these same staffers tell me that Nielsen played let’s-make-a-deal on tossing three dams in Siskiyou County as part of Arnold’s water bond (which could go on the ballot at any time, still)… it gets my attention. Then when something like the Platform fight features Jim Nielsen it all makes sense.

There are times when Jim Nielsen’s own tendencies put him in a place where calling his critics liars just simply can not obfuscate the truth.

Jim Nielsen calls himself a Conservative because he is not. He attempted to destroy the CAGOP Platform – largely due to this blog criticizing him – Jim Nielsen reversed himself and actually voted against the Platform he had moved to adopt and voted for the “Pruner Platform” in the entire Platform Committee.

Add this to the list of Jim Nielsen’s flip-flops – but this one is clearly an effort to save face after getting exposed.

P.S. – remember that $133k that Charles Munger invested in Nielsen? Charles Munger spent a reputed $250k on the effort to gut the CRP Platform. David Stafford Reade was paid to run the proxy drill in the north state for Munger. The $133k from Munger certainly looks like Jim Nielsen’s reward for services rendered. If Nielsen really supported a Conservative CAGOP Platform would Charles Munger have dropped $133k in to him?

Please note that Jim Nielsen’s scheduler had indicated that Nielsen had this on his schedule – inexplicably Jim Nielsen did not attend.

Want to know one of the reasons why David Stafford Reade, Karen England, Jim Nielsen, Dave Gilliard et. al. have persisted in their attempts to destroy me and their attempts to meet out revenge? (The current rendition is their run at the Placer GOP Cent Com)

We cleaned out all the fake CRA Units. Jim Nielsen had been endorsed by the CRA twice for his Assembly Runs. Not any more.

Jim Nielsen was held accountable for his record, as such, he did not receive a single vote from the CRA.

Dan Logue, the author of Prop 23 that would have repealed AB32 got 100% of the votes.

Four CRA Units Met – Yuba, Nevada, Butte and Placer. (Ironically, each of those GOP Cent Coms have endorsed Dan Logue as well…)

David Stafford Gilliard and David Stafford Reade have to be feeling some acute pain right about now.

Yuba GOP – Unanimous

Butte GOP 18-2

Placer GOP 16-8

Nevada GOP 16-2

Jim Nielsen’s tepid support in Republican Grassroots is manifesting itself.

The bottom line is that Ted Gaines has been smoked out and got Smoked by the Nevada GOP.

This is a lesson to Dave Gilliard about what happens when your desire for absolute control takes you in to Central Committee Politics. Gilliard’s client (Jim Nielsen) is getting his ass kicked repeatedly and another one of Gilliard’s clients – Ted Gaines had to screw over more people before this meeting.

Only the very liberal Shasta GOP Committee endorsed Nielsen thus far.

In other news – I re-verified with my sources Jim Nielsen’s complicity in negotiating Dam Removals in Siskiyou County as part of Arnold’s Water Bond and the fact that Nielsen was calling Republican Members to see who would go up on Prop 1A. I was assailed as a liar for making both assertions – that are insisted to be true by those in the capital that told me.

There is a reason.

Jim Nielsen’s campaign consultant is David Stafford Gilliard. Gilliard managed to get Munger to do “Independent” expenditures on behalf of a few of his clients. (As independent as the Indian tribes that always seem to show up).

David Stafford Reade (Jim Nielsen’s Chief of staff) has worked on Charles Munger’s Payroll in the past.

David Stafford Reade was a leader in Charles Munger’s effort to destroy the California Republican Party platform and all Nine of Jim Nielsen’s Convention Delegates (via proxy) were engaged in that effort as well.

Jim Nielsen has supported most initiatives that Munger has taken up – including opposing Prop 23 that would have repealed AB 32. (Though Nielsen did not oppose it publicly)

Jim Nielsen also voted to put Prop 14 on the ballot – this is the defining achievement of Charles’ Munger’s poitical career.

Now the time has come for the payback.
