Remember the ridiculous initiative against the State Senate Districts? The CAGOP emptied their treasury and Dave Gilliard pocketed an estimated $200k in Consulting fees for/from? Dave Gilliard decided to take the money and run. Today, the capitol alert released a...
It is no secret that there is an ideaological rift on the Placer GOP Cent Com. There are the liberals that support Beth Gaines / Doug LaMalfa and the Conservatives that support Andy Pugno and anyone running against Doug LaMalfa. Then there are the so-called Tea...
This is old news. It happened in March. The GOP endorsed Log-Cabin Republican Carl DiMaio over Nathan Fletcher. Fletcher had decided on many occasions to go Abel Maldonado on the GOP, often apparently for his own political gain. However, that does not absolve the...
Doug LaMalfa was the choice of the GOP establishment for California’s First Congressional District. What happens when you have a candidate campaigning as “One of Us” who gets exposed for ethical issues and for taking $5million in Farm Welfare? All...
Charles Munger has to be pissed. One of his poster children has ditched the GOP. I liked Bruce McPherson – I know he was a complete Mod, but in Santa Cruz County, I was glad there was some sort of Republican presence there. Not anymore. Like Jim Jeffords and...
Dave Gilliard proved a lack of integrity by putting out mailers so bad that even the Sacramento Bee called him out on them. Even before Dave Gilliard went on tilt – his hubris would not allow him to take Mr. Pugno up on his pledge. In doing so, Gilliard gave...

File this revelation under the category of the California Republican Party gets what it deserves. I got a copy of a desperate appeal for support from Arnold Zeiderman. This is quite possibly the most complete self-indictment I have ever seen of a completely...
I had the occasion to run in to Mark Spannagel on Friday night 6/9/2012 at a South Placer Republican Women’s event. He was none the worse for wear and we talked shop for a while. I’d be surprised if anything came from the campaign scandal at all. This...
If he does not, could we see a recall of the Amador GOP Central Committee? As reported on this blog – the Amador GOP Central Committee has quite a few unfilled seats as few ever file. Arnold Zeiderman was able to use this to his advantage – getting a...
Jeff Seaton and the Amador GOP have been humiliated by the voters of Amador County. The final score is 61.86 to 37.77. A 24 Point whupping. Ouch....
That’s about all the headline that requires. http://www.placerelections.com/election-night-results.aspx Now, Pam Tobin can return to her regularly scheduled campaign of harassing her neighbors and letting her dogs run wild. Meantime, Kirk Uhler can continue...
