The first thing are these Jade Statues they are trying to turn in to Bitcoin. It is an all cash business and all unregistered, unregulated and unlicensed. Worse, the solicitation is for non-us investors, apparently to get around regulatory oversight in California and the USA. This is also apparently how he gets around scrutiny from Insurance interests for his outside businesses.

Watch this video and ask yourself if this looks legitimate

One of Peter Kuo’s companies is based in the ZGC Capital Building which has been a focal point of the Pentagon for industrial espionage and President Trump’s trade war with China.

Politico: How China acquires ‘the crown jewels’ of U.S. technology “But it’s not always easy to trace the money back to a single source, let alone determine what connection that source has to Beijing’s Communist leadership. Haiyin Capital, a Beijing-based VC firm, is partially backed by a state-run Chinese company, according to a company release. Also complex is ZGC Capital Corporation — located in Silicon Valley and focused on providing startups with basic business help — is a subsidiary of a state-owned enterprise funded by the Beijing government, according to the organizations’ websites. Attempts to reach each organization were unsuccessful.”

The Financial Times: The tech fear behind Donald Trump’s trade war with China “Yet the incubator could also just as easily be ground zero in a 21st-century innovation war between the world’s two largest economies. Behind the Silicon Valley and Boston facilities is Zhongguancun Development Group, a venture capital fund that originated in Beijing’s technology district and is owned by the city’s municipal government. It is at the sharp end of what has become one of the most neuralgic issues in Washington.”

Kuo’s business advertises that it can connect Americans with Chinese Venture Capital Money…

President Trump has been staring down China in a trade war, and he has been effective and has forced them to the bargaining table. He has taken the step of banning Chinese technology from being used in American infrastructure.

So why then is Peter Kuo, an American businessman, working for the interests of China in China?

If you missed the first installment of our expose’ on the business dealings of Peter Kuo, it is linked here. It does not take an attorney to figure out that a lot of this stuff will make terrible optics for an American audience.

The Economist had something to say about the alarming wave of Chinese interests taking over American Companies:

In coming days President Donald Trump is expected to sign into effect the Foreign Investment Risk Review Modernisation Act (FIRRMA), which establishes more vigilant reviews of foreign investments into American companies, including startups, on national-security grounds. While Mr Trump and China continue to spar over trade tariffs, FIRRMA reflects a fight over Chinese investment in American technology startups that is less visible but which nonetheless may have serious consequences for Silicon Valley.

Big deals with national-security implications have long been scrutinized. America’s powerful Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) has reviewed attempts by foreigners to take controlling stakes in domestic firms where their presence could weaken national security. But minority investments in startups went unremarked, though the firms may hold sensitive innovations in areas such as robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), biotechnology, 3D printing and more.

If (a big if) you believe that Peter Kuo’s business ventures are legitimate – then you’ve accepted that he is actively engaged in getting Chinese investors to buy American Companies. This is not a good look for the California Republican Party.

Secondly, we posted a list of questions that have still gone unanswered by Mr. Kuo. If Mr. Kuo is unable to answer questions from ordinary CAGOP Delegates, what will he do when the national media comes calling? (fold like a cheap lawnchair?)

As we looked for answers, we came across a Pentagon report about the alarming rate of Chinese takeovers of US based tech companies.

HONG KONG — China is investing in Silicon Valley start-ups with military applications at such a rapid rate that the United States government needs tougher controls to stem the transfer of some of America’s most promising technologies, a Pentagon report says.

There are few restrictions on investing in American start-ups that focus on artificial intelligence, self-driving vehicles and robotics, the report contends, and China has taken advantage. Beijing, the report says, is encouraging its companies to invest for the purpose of pushing the country ahead in its strategic competition with the United States.

In some instances, Chinese companies have made under-the-radar investments intended to dodge the oversight of a government agency, the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, known as Cfius.

So, has Mr. Kuo been arranging transactions like the above or are his companies shells with no income? In just the last year, it appears from our research that Mr. Kuo has shut down two of his entities.

In a recent post about Mr. Kuo’s frequent, 3-week-plus trips overseas, we revealed a few more potential issues. The company highlighted above DCLUSA was featured in the post:

Another business venture is linked here. You will notice that there is limited information on the three-page site. It is a startup consulting company that alleges to recruit investors from China, Taiwan and Indonesia. I am struck by the typos on the site, lack of “Who we are”, the lack of testimonials and no physical or mailing address listed.

The post highlighted a Russian-Chinese Aircraft Manufacturing Interest that Mr. Kuo is attempting to start up. Kuo’s facebook is replete with posts about this company, its Russian investor friend of his, and the Chinese factory where these products will be manufactured for an unknown market. At the same time our President is stressing bringing back jobs to America, much of Peter Kuo’s business efforts seem to be aimed in the opposite direction, other than his insurance business.

At worst, these multiple offshore business dealings (crypto currency, Russia/China aircraft manufacture, helping Chinese plutocrats invest in US technology companies, and more) raise serious questions about their legitimacy and policy issues.

At best, the businesses are legitimate, yet look like they are competing with President Trump’s attempts to stop China from compromising our technology.

Somewhere in the middle is the fact that Kuo is gone out of the USA for as much as 6 months a year. Somewhere in the middle are the terrible optics of the unregistered securities and the Chinese Venture Capital – which side of these transactions does Peter represent? It’s unclear.

Some of these businesses do not have any visible activities – are they elaborate shells, that are being used for other purposes?

In case you wanted more information as to why the President is taking steps to reign in Chinese takeovers of American Businesses – see this Politico Article:

In fact, a six-month POLITICO investigation found that the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, the main vehicle for protecting American technology from foreign governments, rarely polices the various new avenues Chinese nationals use to secure access to American technology, such as bankruptcy courts or the foreign venture capital firms that bankroll U.S. tech startups.

The committee, known by its acronym CFIUS, isn’t required to review any deals, relying instead on outsiders or other government agencies to raise questions about the appropriateness of a proposed merger, acquisition or investment. And even if it had a more formal mandate, the committee lacks the resources to deal with increasingly complex cases, which revolve around lines of code and reams of personal data more than physical infrastructure.

Unbelievable. Also, what exactly happens on these trips? To be continued…

Dear Aaron,

Reports are coming in from delegates across the state that Republican establishment “Leadership” is actively discouraging delegates from attending the Republican Convention in Sacramento on the weekend of February 22-24. Numerous delegates have complained of intimidating calls and messages pressuring them to surrender their proxies with veiled threats from elected officials and their staff.

The failing status quo will say anything to protect a record of failure that is plain for everyone to see. California Republicans were decimated in the 2018 elections, and our Party is at its weakest point since 1883. We must STAND UP FOR CHANGE NOW. It’s time the Republican Party fights for OUR VALUES, OUR IDEALS, and OUR REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT.

This Convention will be pivotal in rebuilding our California Republican Party. I fully encourage you to attend, bring your friends, and be a direct participant. This Convention will decide the leadership for the Republican Party for the next decade: will we have a continuation of the shrinking, losing, insular status quo or will we demand a BOLD NEW DIRECTION WITH ENERGIZED LEADERSHIP that will register new Republican voters statewide, organize every street and precinct, and fight the election fraud of the California Democrats?

It’s time every Republican demands a California Republican Party that REPEALS PROP 14 and FIGHTS TO WIN again in California.

If you cannot make convention, download a proxy form here so your vote can still count to REBUILD our Republican Party. Please print, fill out, and sign the form (must be physically signed) and reply back to this email that your are completing your proxy.

Proxies can be mailed or picked up directly from your home. With our network of over 50,000 volunteers across California there are Republicans in every community that are ready to help you to MAKE YOUR VOTE COUNT.

Remember, EVERY VOTE COUNTS and ALL VOTES ARE ON A SECRET BALLOT, so no one has to fear retribution from the “establishment”. We can’t afford to allow the same failed Republican status quo leadership to continue to destroy our Party and empower the California Democrats.

This is our state, this is our Party. JOIN ME TODAY and rebuild our Republican Party, by Republicans and for Republicans. IT’S TIME WE WIN IN CALIFORNIA.
Sincerely,
Travis Allen – Candidate for California Republican Chairman

Any of us paying attention to politics in Orange County have heard ad naseum about the disaster down there for the GOP. Newly minted Republican Sean Mill did his part. Andrew Do won two elections by the slimmest of margins, literally a few hundred votes. Sean Mill was a reason why:

what will Sean Mill do for an encore? Can anyone trust him as a Republican?

It looks like Sean Mill is the latest in a string of Republicans for a convenience. He should be rejected by BOTH parties for his antics as no one can trust him. Mill is running for Riverside City Council in District 5 and likely has determined that re-registering Republican is his best ticket. (See also fraud)

And here is your encore. Proud to have Obama representing the US.

I’d lay odds Mill is a huge fan of Robert Mueller, Alexandra Occasional-Cortex, Illian Omar and other far-left fringe wackjobs.

Republican Groups should reject Sean Mill post-haste. Voters should reject him too for dishonesty.

It has been clear to your intrepid blogger that the crew supporting Jessica Patterson are starting to sweat. A goal of this blog has been to simply educate people as to who the players are, their entanglements and why they are so freaked out over the results of the upcoming CAGOP Chairman’s Race.

A possible explanation for why Tyler Diep Betrayed Travis Allen?

In between two of Jessica Patterson’s monthly Salary Checks (which your intrepid blogger already included in the previous expose’ of the finances of CA Trailblazers), is an interesting notation of $2953.11 in “Debt Retirement” for Tyler Diep.

Is that all it took to get Diep, whose candidacy for AD72 was practically launched by Travis Allen, to flip on him?

It gets more curious as your intrepid blogger has been told three times (1 with concrete proof) that Jessica Patterson’s crew have been reaching out to failed GOP Candidates offering them “Debt Retirement” if they endorse. Note – if true, I am giving her crew credit for doing it in a manner that is not a violation of the law, I am merely simplifying the description sans legal nuance for the benefit of the readers.

With the revelation of Diep’s payoff (my opinion of it) by CA #Trailfailures, it certainly suggests a pattern, and gives some credence to the rumors. Anyone with any further knowledge is encouraged to reach out to [email protected] with more information, you can remain anonymous.

Enter Luis Vargas. Luis Vargas ran unsuccessfully for SD40 which is in Chula Vista through to Imperial County.

Your intrepid blogger has received 3 concrete rumors, (one firsthand) from Republican Nominees that team Jessica Patterson was offering to help retire their campaign debt in exchange for endorsements. Marla Livengood was accused of taking such a deal and it is patently false. (I have spoken to someone with direct knowledge)

Mr. Vargas appointed three delegates, one from SD39 in San Diego, one from Orange County and Charles Dossett who lives in Stanislaus County. I have solid accounts (namely Dossett bragging about it) that Heath Flora’s crew arranged for that appointment as part of the Jessica Patterson delegate appointment drill.

Add in that Dossett is wanting to run for Jeff Denham’s Congressional Seat and has a close relationship with team Flora. It is also the opinion of this blogger that Dossett is being used as a mule to keep CA-10 warm for Kristen Olsen, who is fresh off of a DUI and needs some time to pass before she can run for Congress without a suspended Driver’s License.

Kristen Olsen is also quite close to Jessica Patterson as we’ve proven on Right on Daily, including $11,000 in payments in 2017 alone. See the web? Flora and Olsen are working together, they attempt to control delegates to the CAGOP to help elect Patterson while trying to set up Olsen’s next run for higher office. It is in both Heath Flora and Kristen Olsen’s interest to get Jessica Patterson elected CAGOP Chairman.

Problem – while screwing over long time loyal Republicans, they appoint this guy

When I was first appointed as a CAGOP delegate in 1998, I had to wait a few months before I could function as a delegate. I first registered to vote in the summer of 1997 and I was told I had to be a Republican for a year.

It appears that someone who may or may not have been Luis Buhler led yet another by-law change to pull that requirement out of CAGOP By-Laws. This means that squishes like Heath Flora could go down to the local IBEW and pluck a few of Mr. Flora’s fellow union members and sign them up as delegates as long as they re-registered that day. Yup, kinda like same-day voter registration.

Dossett was challenged on his registration. It turns out that he submitted a voter registration card with his sign up and dues for the CAGOP. Someone with a complete copy of the Stanislaus County Voter file had Dossett as a DTS as of 1/15/2019.

Once again, we are seeing what the Consultant Class is doing to subjugate the will of real Republican Activists. They are buying off nominees (what it looks like), appointing non-Republicans they can control and are snubbing true party activists in order to control an outcome.

When you couple this with bully tactics and behind the scenes machinations to control outcomes all over the state (as reported constantly for weeks to your intrepid blogger), it is clear that the Consultant Class are content to decimate what little party structure is left as long as they install one of their own as CAGOP Chairman.

Sadly for Jessica Patterson, this is not about her. It is about them and their future ambitions. Where Jessica Patterson has an issue is that it seems that she is fine letting them run their rampage as I’ve received nothing to indicate that she has expressed any opposition to what they are doing.

IT looks like the City of Riverside Ward 5 is the victim of fraud.

Sean Mill Voted in every single election thru 2016 – as a democrat.

Sean Mill is running around the countryside trying to pass himself off as a Republican.

Dear CRA and RIVCO GOP – JUST SAY NO!

For reference, we are providing copies of not one, but 3 voter registration cards filled out by Mr. Mill.

Looks like Sean Mill has some explaining to do.
