(Note Rafael Cuevas is in the “To” line of this email where he had Cuevas aid him in his apparent act of industrial espionage)
We introduced Lt. Kent Werges to the Right On Daily thunderdome on 6/13/2018. It looks like Werges is Bob Epps’ primary enabler from what I can tell. It is also my understanding that the retaliation against Deputy Cuevas is part of an ongoing purge of the Bomb Squad being perpetrated by Bob Epps in retaliation for your intrepid blogger finding out the details of the apparent multiple felonies that were committed by Epps. (In addition to his abusive behavior towards subordinates)
When Lt. Werges told Ralph Cuevas he was being kicked off the Bomb Squad, Lt Werges told Ralph Cuevas, “We are letting you know before you read it on Social Media“.
Then Werges asked Deputy Cuevas if he as a commenter on this blog by the name of Guy Fowkes. Werges was indirectly trying to see if Cuevas would admit to being a source for this blog. Similar to other strong-arm incidents we’ve heard of, there is a level of desperation in attempts to cut off the flow of information.
Lt. Werges turns out to be a bigger idiot (at least that is what I think of him and I am sure many readers agree with me), than I previously thought he was.
It is clear that Ralph Cuevas has a clear nexus for a lawsuit related to hostile work environment.
As a side note – The hackers attacking this blog and team Sniff are not going to stop us from getting the message out about life under Stan Sniff. Google Chrome and Safari will filter out the hack if you try multiple times to log in.

As stupid as all of it is, crap like this is really not surprising to hear anymore. Lt. Worthless Werges really is a fucking moron. He’s the type of asshole who is a legend in his own mind and I’m sure he’s trying to get his nose up Sniff’s ass as he hopes to be thrown a treat. Everyone who worked around him during the GTF issues in Hemet knows what a lying turd he is. He fits right in with the rest of Sniff’s camp, a bunch of LIARS just like Sniff!
Retaliation from Sniff and his admin thugs? Who knew? Not like that tactic hasn’t been seen before.
Maybe Sgt Dekker can send Cuevas the name of his “whistleblower” attorney. I am inclined to agree with you; if Wirges terminated someone from an at-will position by giving this reason, he’s a fucking moron. But he had to make the classic movie mistake of talking too much before going in for the kill. Now, assuming Cuevas wants to make a federal case out of it, this is going to cost the department oodles. He couldn’t resist running his fool mouth long enough to give a reason that is absolutely against the law. And so it goes.
Perhaps all of this will have a chilling effect on qualified candidates even wanting to join Epps team. The tyranny of one man is going to impact public safety. Again. Anyone that can bend Epps ear should suggest he buy back his Marine Corps time and move on. I’m sure someone at one of those trade shows or in IABTI would have a job lead for you. Maybe go back overseas and con some small government into using your services. That’s what you do when you are repeatedly publically humiliated, when you read at least once a month NO one in the department respects you. Before the feds finally figure out what you’re up to and you never get that top secret security clearance back. Before you get sued again and again. Time’s up. Cut your losses before you lose everything. You got fragged, buddy. Now be smart and take your (likely stolen) football and go home.
And the hits just keep coming. Lieutenant Worthless, what a fitting name for Werges, who epitomizes the legacy of Stan Sniff. It’s these village idiots that Sniff, and his band of mindless primitives he calls his executive staff continue to promote. And I remember Mitch Alm saying to everyone,”If you work SIB, you get the highest promotability.” Now it makes sense how Werges was #3 on the Lieutenants list, he was working SIB at the time, (an assignment he screwed up with the troops initiating a revolt), which is how Mitch Alm justified Werges promotability score. And because Werges was on SWAT, Peckerhead Wood protects him. It’s unprofessional practices like this that gives the Department a bad image, in addition to the tools that they continue to promote. I just hope Peckerhead Wood realizes that when Werges crashes and burns, he’s going with him. Cuevas is an excellent staff member that did nothing wrong for him to be treated like this. And Sergeant Epps is a coward to get Lieutenant Worthless to do his dirty work for him. Lieutenant Worthless has been a train wreck, and I hope Cuevas initiates a civil action for retaliation. But I wonder, where did Lieutenant Worthless come up with the Guy Fowkes allegation, was it his idea, was it Sergeant Epps doing, or was it on orders from the Eagles Nest. I believe a Grand Jury would be very interested in knowing this, just like the rest of us would.
Guy…
I couldn’t agree with you more. Looks like Epps is at it again gutting HDT of his senior and experienced guys. Epps has gotten rid of everyone who had any RSO time there and has only kept the deputies he has selected or his Marine Corps mafia crew which he protects and is trying to promote. Epps is already telling people who he wants to be the next HDT Sgt. There’s no secret there. The loss of Cuevas will have an effect not only on public safety but the safety of that team. How many HDT deputies have been significantly injured or medically retired under Epps’ so called “pop your heart” leadership? Six. How many more, now that there will be less experience on that team. I feel sorry for anyone working under those conditions.
For my part, I hope there isn’t a lawsuit. Even if punishment of a worthless and corrupt regime is appropriate, the losers are the taxpayers. Rather, we are making a collective move to hold Stan Sniff and the multitude of corrupt and incompetent #lessthan50yearolds accountable through the ballot box.
Keep the faith Chad Bianco will ring back truth and accountability to the organization we all have sacrificed so much of our lives toward through the years. Nobody should be surprised bad motives and poor decisions continue from a defunct administration over our organization. But that time is closing while the ship’s bilge pumps spew the sewage #sniffandhisexecstaff that correct the slanted keel. we are the water-tight compartments (all of us)…holdfast troops… holdfast
With all these allegations of corruption, fraud, etc how has the department not been the subject of a federal investigation?
If one were to be opened now, it would be the nail in Sniff & Company’s coffin!
A call to Senator Jeff Stone’s Office could get the ball rolling, and we can call it the “Stone Commission.” Jeff Stone could look at the structure and operation of the Department, second floor practices, discipline process and the selection and promotion process. And they would have to make the findings public. Jughead Vest would have to explain how he gave Aaron Kent the answers to the Lieutenants test, Christian Dekker and Matry Tochtrop would have to explain their actions on the night Marty Tochtrop pushed the inmate out into the lobby so they could arrest him for attempting to escape, in addition to the Drinkwater incident. Kent Werges would have to justify going over budget by half a million dollars in public funds, Peckerhead Wood would have to explain his skull tattoos, and why they represent kills on-duty. Robert Epps would quit before he was questioned by the Stone commission. Robert Rose would have to explain to the commission why he pointed a gun at someone at the Tyler Mall, and then fled the scene before the cops responded. And this is only scratching the surface, then there is the issue of why a disabled Captain is still allowed to be POST certified as fit for duty. I bet they are many more in incidents that will support the allegations of mismanagement, if not actual criminal charges.
Senator Stone? Really? You think he will do anything? The guy that used an “honory badge” to impersonate a law enforcement official and intimidate another citizen during a road rage incident, which was in turn swept under the rug by the Sheriff….THAT Jeff Stone?
Blogger’s Note: The reason the Senate Ethics committee did nothing to Senator Stone is that the investigation turned out that Senator Stone was attempting to diffuse a situation rather than gain advantage in the situation. The assertions otherwise were campaign rhetoric in order to gain political advantage.
How does a guy with a team of seven people end up on this blog constantly?
Seven people work for him.
Seven.
And they all seem to be racing one another to report him. I’m no genius but when you can’t manage seven people without breaking the law, punching one or violating their rights, you might not be management material. You might just be an asshole.
There will come a time when he can’t fire one or blow one up or sends the wrong device to a civilian and maybe then the Sheriff will be forced to admit he left a toddler in charge. I know you read this, Stanley. The entire team can’t be wrong, here.
