Politico announced that Ed Brookover, the legendary Reagan Alum former Ben Carson top dog and Western Region Director Jimmy Stracner were fired yesterday. Why? It appears that the internal pissing match between Paul Manafort and anyone not named Paul Manafort ran its’ course. Both men had been brought in by Corey Lewandowski.

What is not well known publicly is that Tim Clark – who was hired by Paul Manafort at the recommendation of someone in California – was always trying to move himself up the Trump food chain. From where I sit looking at their structure, the next step up was the Western Region Director.

There have been varied rumors about Tim Clark’s status with Team Trump. What is 100% known is that Clark screwed up the California delegation badly, causing national press coverage of the White Nationalist and other marginal characters.

Tim Clark has been blaming everyone but himself for the disaster. Those that know him best, know this is his pattern. He has even blamed Trump’s headquarters for the delegation disaster.

Local activists who were bumped off the delegation list in favor of Mr. Clark’s few remaining friends and party officials have confirmed that he has been extremely difficult to work with. Given that the first delegation list prepared by Ted Costa before Tim Clark was brought in had many of the key early Trump supporters on it – versus the final list that had to be put together with a last minute frenetic rush were very different.

The only thing Clark did was delete people he didn’t like. Other than that, other people including CA GOP leaders were left holding the bag in the last days before the deadline scrambling to fill the list that Tim Clark failed to do. The delegation was Clark’s primary responsibility that he was being paid for by the campaign.

So now, Tim Clark appears to  have a clear path – if indeed the Trump team is still paying him – to the next step up the ladder. Those of us that know Tim Clark know that he is a parasitical cancer in any organization he participates in and he usually starts from day one trying to run people over to get paid more. We will see what the Trump team’s next move is now that the Carson people have been blown out.

Let’s hope it is not to appoint more Nazis.

When you campaign as the Conservative’s Conservative – you really need to vet people on your team well.

Andy Pugno’s Consultant, Tim Clark is a disaster. He appointed a Nazi to the California Donald Trump Delegate Slate along with a vigilante, reality show TV Stars, a crazy pastor, a former GOP leader who made legitimate rape comments and a couple of GOP officials that got cold feet and quit.

The Donald Trump Campaign usually demands exclusivity from their consultants – but all that said, why the local media has not picked up on the #AD06 nexus is beyond me.

Tim Clark has also had some interesting clients:

Clark and Nehring, the Guardian can reveal, spent six weeks in Guatemala in 2011 working as advisers to Manuel Baldízon, a rightwing populist and business tycoon who campaigned on the promise of broadcasting the executions of criminals on TV.

The Nehring referred to is former CRP Chairman Ron Nehring. I’d love to see the ads that Tim Clark came up with in that campaign. I am also wondering if the Donald Trump team did ANY vetting whatsoever of Mr. Clark at all.

Clark also said in the email that he did not know about Baldízon’s campaign promise of televising executions – even though it was widely reported in the international media as well as the Guatemalan press.

That must have been one hell of a database error in 2011. Does the BS sound familiar? It is always someone else’s fault with Tim Clark as he sets one client after another on fire.

Neither Clark nor Nehring mention their work for Baldízon on their company websites – although both make references to having worked in Guatemala.

Well, no kidding. Here’s the likely reason why:

Baldízon’s political career in Guatemala has long been linked to unsavory patronage – a concern that InsightCrime, a group that investigates organized crime in the Americas, reports is fueled by his refusal to disclose the identity of the private donors who bankroll his campaigns.

If Pugno was smart – he’d cut this guy loose as soon as possible before the Media starts asking him more questions than the crap blowing up the mailboxes of #AD06.

The trainwreck continues.

In case you have not made the connection – Donald Trump’s California Director who appointed the delegate disaster is Tim Clark. Tim Clark is also all over Andy Pugno’s Campaign filings as his Consultant.

Since Pugno is getting his ass kicked by several outside groups – you’d think he’d want to avoid having a campaign consultant who likes to name vigilantes, reality show stars, nutbags and a garden variety White Nationalist to a slate of delegates to the RNC Convention. You’d think the outside groups would pick up on this and light Pugno on fire over it.

Read more on the Nazi that Tim Clark appointed to the RNC for Donald Trump

The Trump campaign also requires a confidentiality clause in the contract. It appears that Mr. Clark has violated the exclusivity clause that the Trump Campaign  usually requires in order to keep working for Pugno.

Read here to see how Tim Clark’s hire by the Trump Campaign caused a major rift within the campaign and how back in 4/28 an ousted Trump advisor predicted disaster.

Read here for more on the “Legitimate Rape” delegate to the Trump Campaign that was appointed by Tim Clark.

There is plenty more and I am waiting for the local media to start smearing Pugno with this. #firetimclark

SPLC-Extremist-Files-William-Daniel-Johnson-1280x720 (1)I had been waiting for a confirmation of this for a couple days.

Lou Barnett, the husband of Late LAGOP Chair Jane Barnett is a long time “friend” of Tim Clark. He is the individual that sent a list of recommendations in LA County over to the Donald Trump camp. (Namely Tim Clark)

These lists included the White Nationalist William Johnson.

They knew that Tim Clark would wait until the last minute to vet his candidates and there was a good chance that this guy would fly through the vetting.

It was told to me that the minute the list came out with Johnson’s name on it that Mr. Barnett leaked the news to the Guardian.

Was another campaign responsible for this dirty trick or did Mr. Barnett do on his own?

Either way, this is another nail in the coffin of Mr. Clark.

5760Did you hear that a White Nationalist made it on the the Donald Trump California Delegate Slate in Southern California?

To understand the context – you need to understand the Hiring of Tim Clark to be Donald Trump’s Chief of California by Rob Manafort and the ensuing issues within the team.

Having been employed by Dr. Ben Carson previously, I know that a lot of his team was absorbed in to the Trump operation after Dr. Carson endorsed Trump.

The Guardian covered the internal strife within the organization that many knew about.

The fact Trump has yet to talk to the strategist in command of the all-important California primary contest may say more about the frontrunner’s centralized presidential campaign than it does about Clark.

On the other hand, it turns out Clark was not an uncontroversial pick.

Stuart Jolly, who until recently was Trump’s national field director, said he considered Clark for the role but decided he was not qualified enough.

“I had already ruled him out,” he said.

Jolly said he was overruled by a more senior campaign operative, newly hired national convention manager Paul Manafort, but maintains that Clark’s selection over another contender in California was “almost laughable”.

The Guardian article was written on 4/28 and was more detailed about the internal war in the Trump camp than I realized. I knew that everyone objectionable to Tim Clark had been purged from the operation and from the delegate lists. I have been an outspoken critic of Tim Clark’s boss John Moorlach – so I knew that Clark’s hire would likely cost several people their chance in the organization. Picking up the Guardian Article:

“I just didn’t think he was as qualified as Kathy,” he said. “She had much more experience in delegate work, she had more experience statewide.”

Jolly said, in early April, he was on the cusp of offering Tavoularis the job, adding: “She was so much more qualified it was almost laughable, in my opinion.”

However a power struggle was under way at Trump’s campaign headquarters between the businessman’s campaign manager and close confidante, Corey Lewandowski, and Manafort, the veteran political bruiser who had been appointed convention manager.

Manafort wanted to have full reign over California and asked me to let him [select the director] for California,” Jolly said. “I was probably within the hour of offering the job to Kathy. Literally, a day later, Kathy would have been state director.

Why was Manafort so keen to go with Clark? “He just wanted his people [in California],” said Jolly, who resigned from the Trump campaign last week. “It’s politics. Everyone wants their guy there.”

So – Rob Manafort won the pissing match on the hire of Tim Clark.

What did it get them? Ted Costa and Elizabeth Emken who were helping to select delegates were meddled with and were only able to partially vet delegates. Particularly those in the North State only – I should note that none of the delegates north of the Kern / LA County Line were controversial.

I was told by several sources that Trump had several Congressional Districts completely or partially vacant.

It appears that all Tim Clark accomplished was going on media shows to get himself publicity, but that the main job you get a state director for was not completed.

So, you want to know how a white nationalist made the slate? Tim Clark is notorious for being last minute with everything he does. He is also notorious for taking over control over every aspect of every campaign he runs. This is a toxic combination.

Read the story in the LA Times. This is a disaster for the Donald Trump Campaign. If Mr. Trump is the manager everyone says he is, someone needs to get fired. The buck stops with Tim Clark in California.

This is how Mr. Clark Responded:

“Upon careful review of computer records, the inclusion of a potential delegate that had previously been rejected and removed from the campaign’s list in February 2016 was discovered,” Tim Clark, Trump’s California campaign director, said in the statement. “This was immediately corrected and a final list, which does not include this individual, was submitted for certification.”

Um. Nope – Kathy Tavoularis would have known that once the deadline is passed you can not submit a second list. This attempt to cover is an #EPICFAIL.

So, will Mr. Clark resign? Not likely given his attempt to cover himself in his response. Will Donald Trump fire Mr. Clark? It looks like some egos were involved in his hire.

This is a mess. This sort of self-inflicted wound is intolerable in a Presidential Race, the future of America is at stake here and it looks like Tim Clark just shot his boss in the head.
