I got an email forwarded to me with a link to an article from the California Political News. This stuff is re-posted raw with no editorialization. The Status of the Republican Party in California—By the Numbers Stephen Frank, Exclusive to the California Political...
One of the top arguments against electing Travis Allen or Steve Frank Chairman of the California GOP was that neither could raise money. One of the people I highlighted, Molly Parnell (who was running around the 2019 convention and who was actively involved in...
One of my least favorite things in politics are a small group of people that make decisions in a vacuum. It is like a “La Coza Nostra”. The fact that I have been in the political scene for 22 years and have not met some of the “Top”...
Look at the Schedule E. The overhead is horrendous. This is where the money is going. NOTE: The “one ask” program works as follows, until the CAGOP is fully funded, the money raised is split in three until the CAGOP is fully funded. Then once, the...

After a couple weeks of your intrepid blogger ripping back the veil on the feckless, listless, visionless leadership of the California GOP – this commentary makes even more sense. As you watch party leaders fritter away money on contested primaries while...

Did you know that each Assemblymember gets “Member Communication” Money? There are rules about how it can be used. For example in 2012, when Andy Pugno challenged Beth Gaines then of AD-04, Gaines’ office magically sent a monster piece of...
