Team Jessica Update: When The CRA Rejected Joe Collins’ Power Play, He Calls Johnnie Morgan a Racist And Stomps Off. (Morgan is Black)

by | Feb 5, 2021 | 2021 Elections, Jessica Patterson | 1 comment

Jessica Patterson has some real luminaries for Lieutennants. Joe Collins attempted to take over a CRA Unit and when he lost, he stomped off.

Did you know that Joe Collins raised $10 Million for his race against Maxine Watters? And she still got 70+% of the vote against him. Joe Collins is a wackjob that has 4 kids by 4 different women, owed/owes back child support, claimed his bodily fluids were worth $15 Million in court papers and filed to run for President on the Green Party Ticket!

And – he is a part of Team Jessica because Steve Frank dared to tell people the above facts about him. There are others participating in the hysteria (I will name them at a later time) which included attempting to run the president of the CRA (Johnnie Morgan – who is black and supports Steve Frank) out of a local CRA unit.

Given that Jessica Patterson has been protecting Mike Madrid and others in the Lincoln Project I am sure she and Joe Collins will get along famously! While the GOP yanked the endorsements of Ted Howze and Mike Cargile for perceived offenses – Jessica Patterson ignored the headlines Joe Collins was making.

To whom it may concern,

This letter shall serve as the formal notification of my resignation from the South L.A. Inglewood Republican Assembly (S.L.A.I.R.A.) and the California Republican Assembly (C.R.A.) effective immediately.

I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for the opportunity S.L.A.I.R.A. has given me to work and share experiences with their team. I truly learned a few things during my tenure, and I will remember all of those memories and experiences. I sincerely regret this decision but, unfortunately, my desire to win, for growth, personal development and to rebuild my community,
significantly outweighs my desire to fit into any organization where there is none. Furthermore, I will never compromise my integrity and commitment to America and my community.
This decision was made following my clear disdain of ineffective recycled newly elected appointees to the leadership position of President of S.L.A.I.R.A. this is not a formula for growth of an organization.

The newly elected President of S.L.A.I.R.A., Mr. Morgan has persistently encouraged members of the organization to support Steve Frank to the position of GOP chair in lieu of our support for Chairwoman Patterson, who has among many other accomplishments, effectively rebuilt, and rebranded the California Republican party and has set the course for a positive future of outreach and engagement to affluent as well as urban communities throughout California. Steve Frank is publicly vitriol and judgmental to candidates of color who sought to run for public office or get involved in the California Republican party through the cowardly use of his website, capoliticalreview.com and email with impunity. Such reprehensible actions of disrespect cause those who may want to join the party rethink their decision to become a part of an organization. Franks destructive nature does not reflect the highest traditions and values of the Republican party nor its members.
Mr. Morgan has also insisted that we support his gubernatorial candidate Grover who, during a virtual speaking engagement could not answer a simple question I asked which was how as a Republican candidate for Governor was he going to reach out to the independents and Democrats to gain support for his run, especial being that he is a white former cop and most young black Democrats and young white liberals despise law enforcement, He then filibustered an answer to another question I asked after correcting him on the false information about homelessness, him stating that “97% of the homeless people in California has some type of mental health issues,” when it is well documented that only 27% of the homeless population has mental health issues.

Johnny Morgan alleged he has been a part of the Republican party for well over 40 years and has had and currently holds leadership positions in multiple organization, to include the president of the California Republican Assembly (C.R.A.). The registration for Republicans in Los Angeles county is at 17% and 24% throughout the state of california. With no proven plan or strategy to grow, increase membership and public engagement nor allow the opportunity for younger more vibrant leaders to step in and grow this organization, It is upon me to step back and allow the old guard to have these organizations while I along with other young Republicans start new organizations that best fit the values of young Republicans.

I do not have faith in Mr. Morgan’s ability to lead nor do I have faith in his decision making. His stagnant 40-year record is not a proven track for success and continuously refuses to pass the baton. During the 2020 election in a district that has only 37k registered Republicans I was able to encourage over 80k patrons to vote for me as a Republican through community engagement and various outreach programs designed by my team. That is the definition of success that we as Republicans can build on. I Joe E. Collins III, will continue to move forward and strive for excellence, with plans to launch the New Black Republican and rebuild Los Angeles’s 64th Republican Assembly District. I want to WIN, I want SUCCESS, and I want to be a positive Republican influence in my community. This is the influence in my decision to resign from said organizations.

Sincerely,
Joe E. Collins III

  1. Why would Joe Collins be upset because the CRA asked me to speak at a district meeting to meet the members?
