By now, you’ve read countless stories about misconduct and cover-ups within the Sheriff’s Department.
There have been numerous major crimes related to RSO employees under Stan Sniff’s watch and the standard procedure is to cover them up. Sometimes, they are aided and abetted by the local media.
Recently, Correctional Deputy Jason Gordon Wenker assaulted his baby causing major injury. He has yet to be tried for the crime and is presumed innocent until proven guilty. (I think he is going to prison)
January 2016, Correctional Deputy and “Pastor” Mark Anderson was arrested by US Marshalls for Pedophilia. A Blythe Publication had the story. The Kevin Duffy Case from 2010? Other than KMIR, nothing. As you recall, Stan Sniff and crew covered up the serial child molestation of this guy. It is alleged that Sniff and crew arranged to let him go home post arrest so he could commit suicide. Once Duffy Killed himself, the case was covered up. It is thought that Duffy molested upwards of 200 children over a period of 20 years. The KMIR story is here. Captain Nordstrom? He was alleged to have been torturing his daughter and got away with it in a PSB whitewash.
Dale Long? He got sloppy drunk after a binge and murdered someone in cold blood in a bar. To this day, the Lieutenant that was drinking with him remains widely unknown.
Raymond Gregory – the former Assistant Sheriff turned Candidate for Cathedral City Council has a string of police calls to his house and an investigation in to sexual misconduct with a minor that went nowhere.
Oscar Rodriguez? He murdered the ex-Boyfriend of his girlfriend at the time. He nearly got away with it were it not for the family suing him and him taking the 5th on every question in the lawsuit deposition. The department paid out $7 Million on the lawsuit. PSB went on a witch hunt to cover up for their embarrassment, they shook down the whole staff there, terminating a deputy at Thermal Station (for something completely unrelated to Rodriguez) and eventually netting the termination of Captain Andrew Shouse. (While Schiavone continues to be employed despite his foibles – see how that works?) Rodriguez had pre-meditated the murder and insiders tell me he took steps to evade detection even fooling the Coroner. Nevertheless, the department did the usual and attempted to button this up. (Note, Rodriguez has not been convicted yet, it is my opinion that he is guilty of Capitol Murder)
If you’ve read the blog for any length of time, you’ve seen names like Chief Deputy Jason “Deuce” Horton alleged to have gotten away with a DUI, Lyndon Raymond “the Executioner” Wood who has skull tattoos commemorating everyone he has clipped in the line of duty, Lt. Robert “Gunslinger” Rose of the pulling guns on civilians (twice!) capers, Lt. Aaron $300K in overtime Kent, Sgt.-Lt Christian Dekkker, and a host of others that have gotten away with misconduct for years. Heck, even Stan Sniff flashes his badge to get out of traffic tickets!
But a deputy that took a picture of himself in Uniform holding a Chad Bianco sign got a 2 week suspension without pay, at the same time the universally loathed and hated Christian Dekkker got promoted to Lieutenant despite having done dozens of deeds far worse than posing for a photo with a Stan Sniff Sign. (Since Dekkker is rarely seen in uniform, that is an unlikely scenario)
Captain Leonard “Lenny” Purvis was one of Sniff’s top fixers, involved in covering up the Kevin Duffy Case and the Massive Investigator Test Cheating Scandal. (Which only made the Desert Sun) I’ve dedicated a lot of blog space to Purvis as he has been designated to keep Chad Bianco in a cooler.
If the above does not have you worried about what kind of people work in management for the Sheriff’s Department under Stan Sniff’s watch, get a load of the last segment of today’s installment of the corruption chronicles. It pertains to the Indio Jail.
Remember the Tammy Smoak Story? She is being terminated, and it is my belief that is happening because she talked to me. Well, one of the stories in the Smoak file is a gun that made it in to the Southwest Detention Center – conveniently re-named Cois Byrd just before Byrd endorsed the Sniffmeister’s Re-Election.
Well, it turns out that an inmate got a gun in to the Indio Jail. The inmate was already housed before another inmate tipped off the guards she had a gun and was going to clip another inmate she was having a fight with. This happened about a year ago. Has anyone heard about it? Of course not… PSB to the rescue!
You’re probably asking yourself… “Self? How the hell are inmates getting narcotics and guns in to the jail?”
It starts with Assistant Sheriff Jerry Guitierrez! (Welcome to the RightonDaily Blog) Guitierrez made a brilliant command decision to change a practice known as “Potty Watch”. This was a procedure where a suspected inmate was made to have three movements under a specific set of circumstances to make sure no contraband was in their orifice(s). It was a pretty effective means to catch convicts in the act of smuggling stuff in to the jail.
Instead, the brilliance of Guitierrez led to an order to get rid of the “Potty Watch” and instead take the scumbag to a medical exam. What if the dope is hidden in something that does not show up in an MRI or an X-Ray. DOH! What if they forget to take the inmate to the doctor? A female inmate ends up getting a gun in to the jail!
Now I understand how Guitierrez qualified to be an Assistant Sheriff. It is also rumored that the Indio Jail is without a Captain, this is because Guitierrez intends to demote to Captain from Assistant Sheriff. Obviuosly, people are making contingency plans for the anticipated results of the November election. We’ve also heard that Misha Graves (now a Chief Deputy) is also having buyer’s remorse, but there is no Captain slot being opened for her. (But Stan did get to use her promotion as a campaign prop)
You just simply do not have this sort of a string of crime being committed by law enforcement if there is an honest culture in the department. Since the State of California is obsessed with letting Criminals off the hook easy and fostering an anti-cop culture, I have zero hope that Xavier Becerra will take a break from suing the Trump Administration to investigate and prosecute the corruption in the Riverside Sheriff’s Office.
I also know 100% there will be little, if any local media coverage because they are afraid of the tyrannical Sheriff… so RightonDaily will continue on.
I am disgusted to work for this department and I am embarrassed that Stan Sniff is my Sheriff. What a Piece of shit.
Robert Rose is no gunslinger. Rose is more of a drifter, going from station to station looking to find a place where he can manipulate the subordinates into his way of doing things, which is nothing more than wishful thinking on his part. A real gunslinger does not point guns at civilians like this marauder does.
It’s just hit after hit, isn’t it? Amazing this administration has the support of a few clingers, you know, clingers? The shit that sticks to a dog’s ass sometimes.
Like the poo, these clingers need to be wiped out and stripped of any further responsibility so they cannot damage the department further.
Jerry went up the ranks from a measly correctional deputy all the way to AS. Managed to do this without working the streets, pushing a sled, working graveyard on patrol. But you better call him, “Sir!” Because they all demand it. And it’s been cronyism ever since. Protecting Marty all of this time like a momma protects her s-s-s-slow child.
I’ve often said Riverside Sheriff’s is like Area 51 with regards to the news. The PE proudly displayed Lehmann and Haugen back in ‘97 the POS publication that it is.
Deputy Graves made the front page of the PE back in the day, (booking photo with tears in his eyes) but his indiscretion wasn’t heinous like molesting boys or beating a baby or MURDER.
This administration claims transparency but in reality they all have a broom and dustpan at the ready to keep their malfeasance out of the public eye. It’s shameful in a time when these cover ups will come back to haunt department members (like the cheating scandal) because the public blames ALL OF US.
They only care about their ability to take what they can and leave with their big ass pension packages and consultation gigs on the side. It’s abhorrent.
Let’s all hope November’s election changes all of this.
In the meantime, watch Sniffcompoop and company party like it’s 1999 and ready themselves for when he has to leave office.
Jerry apparently has a spot, Pecker Ray? Purvert? Chrome Dome? Evans and the rest? Check your retirement and get ready for the big payday if you’ve saved your sick leave and vacation.

The Law Enforcement Management Union contract, currently ratified and in effect, specifically disallows anyone from demoting back into the union. Some may be concerned upon hearing at-will workers may possibly demote back to former positions. Our contract is solid and no provision allows such a move by Sniff.
In short, don’t worry about this possibility and VOTE FOR CHAD BIANCO for SHERIFF!!!!

I’ve had at least twenty people contact me in the past few days asking who they should vote for in the sheriff’s race. I of course tell them Bianco and then spend a good ten minutes or so telling them what a corrupt piece of trash S/Sniff is. All said they will vote for Bianco. I tell everyone I talk to everyday what an absolute corrupt coward S/Sniff is weather they ask or not. S/Sniff should have a “Corrupt” tattoo on his forehead next to the “L” that’s there now. Rot faster Sniff u need to spend the holidays at ur new command , Hell.
A command staff is suppose to have the experience, and ethical standards necessary to manage a Department, but that is not the case with Riverside Country. Stan Sniff’s claim to fame is working traffic, Kevin Vest’s claim to fame, two years on patrol, three years on a motor and he knows how to use a mouse. And don’t get me started on JJ Gutierrez, he has no experience, Jeff Kubel compromised his principles at the Southwest Station, Ray Wood’s experience is showing off his kills tattoos to get female staff members to sleep with him, in between panic attacks. Cheryl Evans, she can barely make a decision, Jason Horton, all he cared about was helping himself and how high he could go, at the expense of others. Misha Graves, never did actually did police work and is a political appointee. None of them are qualified to hold an executive staff position. Of all the people I am disappointed in, it’s Jason, so many people had helped you along the way, but you forgot that as you rose up the ranks. You could have raised you hand for them, but you didn’t because you were worried it might jeopardize your climb up, doing the right thing is an aspect of character Jason, and you failed miserably in that category. Even when you had several negative incidents in your career, people were there to help you along, but you were never there to return the favor. So remember this as you back up your office Jason.
I to have had up to numerous family and friends ask me who to vote for, I tell them all to vote for Bianco! I hope Bianco gets elected.
As for Robert Rose, he is delusional and routinely ignores policy and tell deputies their wrong. He is a proven racist and liar.
As for Dekkker, he is a lying slithering snake who will do anything for self benefit, He is now telling folks he supports Bianco and just played the (Sniff Game) to get promoted. He is real good ar committing payroll fraud and get away with it.
I have a Bianco sign on my car, and tell everyone that asks to vote for Bianco. Aaron Kent is the same way, will play the “I think the way you do Stan” in order to get promoted, but attends a Bianco event and buys a T-shirt. Same thing with Robert Epps, Nathan Kaas and Steve Brosche, they are team players (that claim to support the second floor), but are only in it for themselves to keep their cushy special assignments that they don’t deserve (note to Bianco, they can’t be trusted).
Associate pastor Kevin Smith is faking it being nice to people, hoping to avoid repercussions for his poor behavior toward everyone. Kent Werges is sweating bullets right now hoping he gets to keep his job on SWAT after all the fuck ups he has committed (and he will have a Kurly moment if he is asked to leave).
Zach Hall will thrown down the “Rata” and use the Eichmann defense “I was only following orders” (although Zach should know, it did not help Eichmann avoid punishment). Marty Tochtrop will leave when his daddy Jerry Gutierrez leaves because he will no longer have protection from termination. Now with Tyler Clark, he will use the “holding the troops accountable” defense in justifying how he has screwed everyone over in his career to climb the ladder. Bianco has a lot of house cleaning to do come January.
Shame on you Jason for your self-serving attitude and demeanor. We were there for you at the Perris Station when allegations were made against you cheating on the promotional test. We believe and supported you, but as you rose through the ranks, you forgot about all of us that stood by you and believed in you. Instead of helping your friends, you just cast us to the side the higher you went.
