That’s right folks, when people stage hate crimes and try to blame me… I yawn. I’ve been down this road before.

Back in January of 2011, one Karen England, then of the Capitol Resource Institute (she has since run off to Reno)… publicly stated in an organizational meeting of the Placer GOP Central Committee that My Brother George, then Chairman of the Placer GOP Tom Hudson and myself were being investigated by the FBI. Ostensibly it was because we did bad things in 2008 helping Congressman McClintock win his initial election.

McClintock later rewarded our efforts by siding with Karen England whose attack was against a paid precinct walking operation we ran for Proposition 8. (I thought the capitol resource institute was about family values)

The smear campaign culminated with then State Senators Ted Gaines and Doug LaMalfa (now a Congressman) being quoted in a front-page-above-the-fold article accusing George (my Brother) and Tom Hudson of felony money laundering. Remember, related to a precinct walking campaign to turn out voters for yes on proposition 8!

Karen England alleged that the FBI had come to her house because of us. This attack was parroted by the local Tea Parties, and ceased upon by Ted Gaines and Doug LaMalfa because they did not like the leadership of the Placer GOP at the time. In other words, more of the same crap that has gone on for years – with the twist of attacking Republican volunteers on the front page of the Bee.

The alleged FBI visit happened sometime around 10/22/2010 – making this the 8th Anniversary of FBI Day. I hold a once-a-year-reminder, which is even MORE pointed this year with the vicious, vile and false smear attack against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

When people attack me as racist, homophobic or any of the other names pseudo-intellects use to gain political advantage because they can’t win any other way… I wear it as a badge of honor.

In 2012, one of Doug LaMalfa’s Staff who now works for Senator Jim Nielsen is alleged (and known to have) directed an independent expenditure of $100,000 in to the Placer GOP Central Committee elections. The donor was none other than Charles T. Munger Jr.

Luis Buhler, one of Munger’s confidants brags to this day that the $100K that was spent in that 2012 Central Committee election was one of the most important wins for the GOP he’s seen. They did not succeed in unseating the then chairman Jeff Atteberry, my Brother or Tom Hudson. I lost by 38 votes.

It is always fun to remember this story every October 22. It took two State Senators accusing me of a felony on the front page of the paper and $100,000 to run me off the Placer GOP Central Committee. Now I am just a blogger, unrestrained by holding an office.

Ironically, I have endorsed now Congressman Doug LaMalfa, State Senator Jim Nielsen and Congressman McClintock for re-election in 2018.
