CAGOP Update: Only YOU Can Prevent Forest Fires. (While the CAGOP Staff is Having PTSD)

Do you remember when? Only You Can Prevent Forest Fires.

Apparently, the staff of the CAGOP are irritated that their malfeasance is exposed and now they are playing the victim. After repeated refusals to provide clear answers to a variety of questions about the voracity of the election – they got their attorney involved.

Apparently, a metaphorical reference to Smokey the Bear caused them all to have PTSD:

Good morning Steve,

The attached emails (highlighting added by me) were sent to CRP staff from Aaron Park, purportedly on your behalf in his capacity as your campaign manager.  Recent events in Washington, DC and Nashville force us to take these threats seriously – we cannot assume this is a joke or metaphor – accordingly, we are sharing these emails with law enforcement and will leave it to them to assess Mr. Park’s intent.

CRP staff will no longer communicate with Mr. Park regarding this weekend’s convention.  Staff is happy to continue communicating with you directly or another person you’d like to appoint as your representative.  Staff will continue to do their best to respond to any and all questions you have regarding Voter Science, delegates, proxies, and any other convention related issues.

I’m at my office today (number below) if you’d like to discuss this further.

It’s hysterically funny really as I have never been to Nashville or Washington DC. It is also an indicator that something is seriously wrong with the CAGOP’s staff that I have to send them 7 or more requests for the same information with no response.

The Forest Fire? The allegations (proven) of fraud and misconduct. These people had it within their paradigm to stop all of this by simply answering questions. They have selectively answered questions, and have ignored others.

My questions were/are not a game and I was not trying to be clever. But apparently, it is time to burn it down.

Unless we can work out an accomodation and get more specific answers in the next 24 hours, it is going to be a long 4 days following. It is quite frustrating that you’ve put me in a position where I have to respond like this, but apparently someone needs to play the vitcim.

I’ll await your response because only you guys can prevent forest fires as I stand here with flares and a gas truck.

I left the typos in my email. I will be happy to send any police investigator (if one even calls) blogs where I have used these terms for years as heaven forbid the CRP staff is special. Perhaps this will be like the FBI investigation Mark Spannagel and David Reade claimed in 2011?

I had attempted to give the CAGOP’s staff a lifeline before I started “torching” them for their lack of integrity and response. (I better disclaim the word torching lest it cause more consternation) so now I have my response, an attorney who does not like Smokey the Bear.

So let’s ask the questions in this email that the CRP’s Staff have refused to answer and are now hiding behind an attorney to avoid:

Which districts in LA were each of the 15 challenged delegates placed in? Who placed them? How were they Placed?

Regarding County Party Delegates:

Do we have some mechanism of proving the voracity of the precinct operations some claim?

How is the County Certification process vetted and verified? Which counties claimed to be certified / submitted for that?

What is the process of the extra delegates being awarded – is it similar to the mystery process whereby Modoc was disqualified?

Is there a list of which counties got what extra delegates and upon what basis?

Lastly – did any counties claim to have voter registration programs? If no, ignore the question. If yes, please explain the process for verification and how you verified those, including which counties submitted for this program.

Steve Frank sent the same email to the whiny CAGOP Staff after they started hiding behind their attorney. They admitted in writing that they do little if any follow up and basically take everyone’s word for it. I still want to know what a precinct operation in Santa Cruz or Berkely looks like as it could be 1/4 mile between Republicans in those cities.

The California Republican Party Staff could have prevented a forest fire, but they have refused to answer basic questions about the integrity of the delegate selection and awarding process.

While trashing Modoc County unilaterally, when similar issues were raised in three other counties – Glenn, Tehama and Yuba, they sent the complaints to the proxies and credentials committee. At best this is unequal treatment, at worst it shows staff complicity and bias in the campaign(s).

Further – several people have not gotten log in information to pay dues, register or vote if they have been able to register. The number of issues has been too significant to ignore as coincidental.

The contact information in the CAGOP delegate list is a mess. I see 5-10 correction requests a day. There are still more errors manifesting as fast as others are resolved.

Then add in the backdrop of the CAGOP being mortgaged to a governor candidate before the recall has even qualified and the infamous “Rule 5” which is getting media coverage and you do have a full blown forest fire.

Well, dear delegates here we are – now it is only you can prevent forest fires. (Attorneys be dammed)

Steve Frank’s race for Chairman of the California Republican Party is simple. “A party of delegates and activists, for delegates and activists…A party dedicated to defeating the Democrats…not fattening the wallets of hired guns”

Vote for Steve Frank.
