It looks like Judge Let ‘Em Out Leon Dixson can’t handle the rigors of a real campaign. So an attorney sent your intrepid blogger a nasty letter on his behalf.

Here’s the bottom line, Leon Dixson from a political campaign standpoint has committed a felony stupid mistake by pouring miracle grow on his primary weakness. He has attempted to use legal bullying to silence this critic of his well-known soft-on-crime record! Your intrepid blogger wrote a post about a sexual offender named David Williams and Judge Leon Dixson’s jurisprudence related to him.

It is a standard practice and in the legal code that you can issue a Bench Warrant for the arrest of someone who fails to appear in court, apparently, Judge Leon Dixon did not issue a warrant for the arrest of David Williams after the FTA. His attorney appeared on his behalf after the failure to appear for another hearing (about the FTA). Judge Dixson could have remanded Williams in to custody at that time, but still Judge Dixson did not. Let ‘Em Out Leon, whoops.

It’s clear this legal demand letter was nothing more than an attempt to bully your intrepid blogger into pulling a post down – but it should also be a warning to anyone that is unfortunate enough to have to appear in court before Judge Leon Dixson. Let ‘Em Out Leon is soft on Crime but hard on his own people and won’t hesitate to use the heavy hand of government on his critics.

The legal demand letter did not contest the fact that Let Em Out Leon let this guy walk free on his own recognizance. They did not contest that the order further allowed him to continue volunteering at the youth theater he was serving at the time whilst awaiting trial on a sex offense! I am not sure how that is different than letting him out of jail, but maybe I need 8 years of law school to figure out the difference.

It is no wonder that the one attorney that visited this blog whining about partisanship had nothing to say about the base far-left anti-religious attacks being made on behalf of Judge Dixson.

It would not take much legal research to show scores of cases where LET EM OUT LEON has let criminal defendants go with $0 cash bail on variety of charges. It is common wisdom in the law enforcement community that Let Em Out Leon is a problem for local law enforcement.
