There is a famous quote, “The Buck Stops Here”. This is the antitheses of Stan Sniff’s tenure as Sheriff. Articles as old as 2008 show him complaining and blaming others for his maladies as Sheriff. The Buck Stops Here is a thesis for leadership. It means that you are responsible for what happens, it means you are responsible for setting the culture of the organization you are head of.
Some of our readers appear to have lost their focus (including focusing on typos in some of the posts versus the content) and are getting too deep in the personalities to remember the focus is on corruption, and a lack of Ethics and Integrity in the Riverside Sheriff’s Office starting from Stan Sniff on down. No amount of typos or other distractions changes the truth about Stan Sniff or his team.
Stan Sniff himself in 2009 said the following:
“This is one of the few professions in which tenured employees can destroy their careers with but a single misstep in ethics and integrity. … Hear me clearly at the start of your careers. Violations of integrity and ethical standards are literally `death sentences’ to law enforcement careers.”
My how times have changed with Stan Sniff, look at 2018 now. Crooked donors, crooked employees, corruption…
An example of leadership and setting the tone would be the myriad scandals and career bureaucrats in Washington DC getting torched for corruption or the staggering number of long-serving members of Congress retiring because President Trump has upset the natural order of things.
Stan Sniff’s predecessor, Bob Doyle was reputed to be corrupt. He was reputed to be a drunk who had cronies and played favorites.
I’ve come to the conclusion that Stan Sniff has become a tyrannical version of Doyle. Tyrants require supporters, enablers, underlings, minions, sex, power and most of all resources with which to act out on their megalomania. This is a very psychological and pathological analysis of his behavior – however as I’ve plotted his behavior on a straight line looking at patterns this explains his constant obsession with his budget yet his refusal and lack of understanding or regard for the details of it. The raw dollars and the control is what matters.
I’ve been hammering all kinds of people by name in the department for several reasons. They show the corruption of Stan Sniff as their bad behavior is enabled, encouraged and covered up – while others who equally as dirty, but not part of the enablers / minions are ousted. Still other innocent (or mostly innocent in comparison to the enablers / minions) employees are railed out of their jobs for relatively minor offenses.
The honest deputies have known about the corruption for years but Stan Sniff has set up the administration department to function as the secret police of his regime, and the internal affairs to function as his internal security force. For many in the department this blog is the only equalizer.
For this blogger, corruption and taking down Stan Sniff are the focus. I don’t care if some of the targets of scorn on this blog support Chad Bianco. If you make the rightondaily blog – it is because this blogger believes you are a dirty cop that has been enabled by the Sniff regime to get away with and continue the bad behavior.
Let’s recap the hall of shame and why they made the blog: (Disclaimer – these are all allegations that are well known, many I have documentation proving, while for some I do not have anything other than testimony from confidential informants)
Undersheriff Bill DiYorio (Undertaker Diyoyo) – he is reviled by the rank and file. He was brought out of retirement for a pension spiking promotion to number two material in the Sheriff’s department. Not coincidentally, he is a donor to Stan Sniff. Diyoyo is also reputed to have led the effort to cover up the investigator cheating scandal, including ghost-writing the report.
Assistant Sheriff Kevin Vest: Another man reviled as a reptile by the rank and file. Vest looks like he could not pass the fitness test, yet has been featured on this blog attempting to intimidate Chad Bianco by driving clear across town to spy on an event. He has also been implicated in giving Lt’s test questions to Lt. Aaron Kent. He should be terminated for cheating. Oh, and he is a Sniff Donor.
Assistant Sheriff Joseph Cleary. We popped him for ordering employees to campaign on the clock. He is another man viewed as a reptile by the rank and file. His name has popped up in various coverups of malfeasance. Also a donor.
Chief Deputy Ray Wood. This man is also reviled by the rank and file. He is utilized as something of an enforcer by Sheriff Sniff frequently appearing at public functions with Sniff or at Chad Bianco events in a lame attempt to intimidate him. Wood’s sexual forays are the stuff of legend and he has skull tatoos on his shoulder to commemorate the people he has killed in the line of duty. This has earned him the nickname “The Executioner” as the man has no business in law enforcement and may well need institutionalization. Also a donor.
Chief Deputy Christopher Brandon Ford. Ford’s name was all over the cheating scandal report, as a then captain he led the PSB investigation that was cut short. Shortly thereafter he was promoted. Ford has also appeared at Chad Bianco events in a similar manner to others on Stan’s management team. Also a donor.
Chief Deputy Jason Horton. Used his position to sleep with several trainees at the training command. Is reputed to have lived off of the reputation of his father to get promoted and was able to get away with a DUI. Has donated a total of $1650 to Sniff over the course of 4 years.
Chief Deputy Geoff Raya. Another man with a long history of fraternization and incompetence in decision-making. He has made the blog related to his bungling (similar to Wood). Raya was also medically unable to perform his duties for an extended period of time, yet this was covered up until exposed by this blog. He is now back to work.
Retired Chief Deputy Shelly Kennedy-Smith – recently featured on this blog, similar to Kevin Vest, helped a favorite subordinate cheat on an advancement exam and helped cover up his bad behavior.
All of the above were promoted to their current positions by Sniff and answer directly to him. There is no case to be made at all that their actions are somehow separate from the Sheriff.
Retired Captain Paula Birch – similar to Raymond Gregory, she had an extensive record of sexual misconduct issues notably with a teenaged girl and employees of the department had to have a
Captain Jason Huskey. He is an unqualified disaster. We’ve written extensively about the issues with his Palm Desert Station. He was promoted by Stan Sniff. Huskey is also a donor.
Captain Leonard Purvis. Purvis is one of the most corrupt members of team Sniff. We’ve written extensively about his role in attempting to decimate the Banning PD at the behest of Sniff. Purvis is the current LGBT Liason and was slated to become a Chief Deputy until he became a regular on the Right on Daily Blog. Purvis also signed off on the cheating scandal report that was used in a failed attempt to put a lid on the scandal. Purvis is also a donor.
Captain Dave “Kurly” Kurylowicz. He has been regularly featured on this blog as well. As one of Stan’s hatchet men and incompetent station captains, he fits right in to the mold of the man that made him a Captain.
Lt. Aaron Kent – ripped off the Taxpayers for $350K plus in overtime that we know of in a 4 year period. Was given Lt’s exam questions by Assistant Sheriff Kevin Vest. Was reputed to have gotten a Master’s degree while on the clock. He is a donor to Sniff.
Lt. Rose – pulled a gun on innocent civilians, TWICE. Also reputed to have been on the clock while at home. Never came close to discipline.
Lt. Mark Bostrom – a reviled creature within the department. One of Stan Sniff’s leading hatchet men in his tenure at the internal affairs department. He was so out of control that he was transferred to the training command because of legal liability he was creating for the department with his actions railroading people (while allowing people like the others featured to continue their bad behavior) Bostrom’s wife has a coveted TAP position as well.
Lt. Loren Tyler Clark – another sadist in the mold of Lt. Mark Bostrom. He set up a fellow Lieutenant in order to improve his chances of promotion and the Captain’s test had to be re-done. He is also reviled by the rank and file. It is no wonder that Clark is rumored to be top on the list for promotion to Captain.
Sgt. Frank Schiavone – a complete train-wreck. After his first feature, several people have come forward with additional info.
Sgt. Geronimo Contrares – another person that abuses his position to get people fired and/or transferred. Several people have come forward about this guy since his first mention.
Sgt. Bob Epps – runs the Bomb Squad like he owns it. Was blasted on this blog, with clear documentation for several alleged felonies. Nothing has happened, including his allegedly punching a 
Jason Gore – a central figure in the Cheating Scandal. He only missed promotion because of exposure on this blog. His wife works directly for the Sheriff.
Some people reading this blog may have lost track of the whys and the wherefores. All of the above people have been promoted at least once under Sniff and unlike many others whose careers have ended, these people appear to have benefited from political patronage set up to benefit those loyal to the regime. This is called corruption. Some of these people should be in prison. Most all should be nowhere near law enforcement. Yet all have direct ties to Sheriff Stan Sniff.
None of them seem to care about Dave Brown. This tells me that either they don’t think Brown can win or perhaps Brown will be business as usual. Were Chad Bianco to win, a number of them would put in for retirement and still more of them may finally be held accountable for what they did were they dumb enough to stay on the force.
You can make bank that Leonard Purvis will get promoted in December as will Christian Dekker and Jason Gore should Stan Sniff get re-elected.
As a man who is not in law enforcement – this behavior is ghastly and corrupt. It needs to be cleaned out and these people need to be held accountable. A start to doing this is to cut the head off the snake and fire Stan Sniff. I hope it is finally clear to some why were are singling people out. over the next few days, some of our most incendiary posts will be re-appearing for the benefit of those new to this blog that may have missed them so that they too can have the full effect of what Stan Sniff has allowed, encouraged and covered for in his department.
