UPDATE2: Now the calls from DC are saying that NOTHING is going to happen, when followed up regarding the subject matter, the sources are back-peddaling. Was McCarthy the victim of a smear drill? (Updated 10/13) UPDATE1: Late Friday: The story has changed to...
Lauren Stephens started the SB277 Referendum failure borne out of a paranoid fantasy. It appears that Tim Donnelly agreed to get involved as he saw opportunities for promotion of his failing radio show and a chance to make a few bucks. Then along came a bunch of...
Beth Gaines Ended 2014 with $205,214.72 in her Assembly Account. It currently shows $93,438.63 after a “transfer” of $80,000 in to the County Supervisor Account. ON March 3rd, Beth Gaines held a fundraiser in to a Board of Equalization account that was...
Lauren Stephens knew two things. 1. That the SB277 Referendum was going to fail and 2. That people were preparing an initiative. As written on this blog previously, Laruen Stephens attempted to leave Tim Donnelly holding the bag. After being exposed for her attempt...
Lauren Stephens got caught. She got Tim Donnelly involved and then Mr. Donnelly went for broke. Now, with the 9/28 deadline for the failure of the referendum approaching, Lauren has filed an initiative. You do not do this if you are winning or are expecting to...

This weekend, I will be at the CAGOP convention. I am sure I will get the usual dirty looks from past victims of past campaigns and the self-righteously arrogant. It comes with the territory when you call people on their crap. Crap. Like the Sutter GOP drama. It is...
It appears that in Washington D.C. Tom McClintock is much more pragmatic than he is in the district. In the district, he has been acerbic to local electeds, listens to bad political advice and is known for being extremely hard on people close to him. As a former...
Former Auburn Council-Member Kevin Hanley moved to Rocklin. (Just like Team Gaines pick #1 Dave Titus) I had received limited intel dating back 6 weeks that Hanley was playing with it. (Running for AD06) Clay Sigg (Team Gaines Pick #2) has not been catching on...
