Did the high-priced consultant let the cat out of the bag months early?

Leave it to your eagle-eyed intrepid blogger. When looking at all the propaganda coming from the City of Corona’s information ministry, something reached out and hit me hard. One of the PR posts from their high priced consultant shows a mid-rise building similar to the government project types of buildings you see in inner cities.

People are already up in arms as the proposed redevelopment in downtown Corona now known as “the Circle” aka Circle Jerk which is part of the Ellis/Willardson plan to exterminate the history of Corona and replace it with their vision of the future. They have been working “High-Density” housing in to every new iteration of the Circle Jerk while demolishing the history of the City of Corona in the process.

Let’s look at everything on the surface:

10+% of the city’s general fund goes to debt payments. Given that no more than 17% of the general fund is available because of state and federal mandates, this is a problem.

They incurred $108MM in new pension debt since measure X passed.

They are continuing to issue new bonds.

The city budget has grown a staggering 52.1% in the last 4 years, including another 16.9% for the current fiscal year.

The City Spends more per capita than any other city in Riverside County.

The salaries the City of Corona pays are the highest around, led by the staggering $460,000 compensation package paid to the doctor of destruction Jacob Ellis.

And the city council raised their own pay from $800 a month to $1900 a month.

City Projects are fiscal disasters:

6th St, $35MM was spent to make traffic worse

McKinley Grade Separation, has gone from originally proposed $88MM to over $150MM in cost and is/was 18 months late. (WHERE’S THE AUDIT)

There is a proposed City Park renovation for another $100MM featuring a Water Park and Gym that residents will have to pay to use, after they pay to build them. Given Jacob Ellis’ record in Gilbert, AZ, one could safely assume this will be over-budget and delayed years.

… and the redevelopment of the Circle Jerk.

There are something like $500MM of new projects on the table!!!

These people can’t be this stupid or incompetent. They have to have some sort of plan for how this all gets paid for.

The Choices are pretty simple:

Declare Chapter 9 and discharge a bunch of Debt
Raise Taxes a ton – which requires voter approval
Make massive cuts (and there may not be enough to cut given how big the hole is)
OR find new money.

Which gets me to what I believe the next move for the Doctors of Destruction are. There is only one logical path forward for the people that have run the City of Corona in to the ground. There is no way they will get another Measure X type of thing passed, especially given what was done after Measure X passed.

They have to do projects that will draw tons of State and Federal dollars in to Corona.

This has to be the logical reason for the extreme level of aggression in the eminent domain abuse by the City of Corona and when combined with the ever-changing Circle Jerk tells you all you need to know. Re-development is a cash cow. Super low income housing and building facilities that are within certain genre’ are cash cows for municipalities.

So to those you in Corona that are upset with how everything is unfolding, if my read on all of this is correct, do understand that your city is facing a fiscal cliff created by the Ellis/Willardson machine with their rubber stamp city council complicit.

It is the opinion of this blogger that Low-Income housing and other social engineering projects are what lie in wait for the circle jerk in downtown. They need the money. I also believe that the above social media from their consultant may well have let the cat out of the bag earlier than they were planning on as they seem to be creeping out the agenda a piece at a time.

What is sad is that once this stuff is built that money is done and gone. After that, what does the city do to make it financially if this part of the Ellis plan is implemented? That is another question for later as the Circle Jerk has not been built yet.

In the meantime, those in charge need to be fired before they do even more damage to the City of Corona.
