I googled this guy’s name. This is what I found:

Ken would be the first out gay elected to the Contra Costa County Board off Supervisors!

I did not correct the typo in the headline. First off, who the hell cares about how gay someone is or not? Is that this guy’s qualification for office? But – I guess the far-left LGBTQXYZABCDEFGHIJKLMNOP Victory Fund website is as single-issue as any out there.

Moderate, they say.

The website identifies Ken as a “cisgender man”. Your intrepid blogger can verify that is accurate per the below pictures:

Ken and his partner/husband/wife are pictured here. They are known as the Duke and Duchess of Contra Costa County in the San Francisco (and elsewhere) social circuit. Somehow, I just don’t see the paparazzi coming for either of them anytime soon.

I guess it is all hail the queen or something. I am taking a personal risk as apparently in Ken Carlson’s California shooting heroin in the local park or taking a dump on the sidewalk is OK but if I miss the pronoun I could get thrown in one of the few prisons left in California. It is a good thing I am 12 miles over a line on the map whilst writing this.

As a conservative, there is really no good choice in the race. However, the most conservative appears to be FORMER Republican Debra Allen. I lifted the below off of another site:

Debora Allen is an elected member of the BART Board of Directors representing much of central Contra Costa, former trustee to Contra Costa’s pension board, and financial professional. She may be best-known as an advocate for increased fiscal oversight and measures to stop fare evasion at BART. Notable endorsements include current District 2 Supervisor Candace Andersen and the Mayor of Clayton.

I’ve been told that the local papers are trying to re-make this far left LGBT+++ Activist in to some sort of moderate and Mr. Carlson himself is attempting to paint himself as a conservative democrat (whatever that means, maybe I just screwed up that pronoun too). It appears that the “Duke” of Contra Costa County is more like the exchequer that got stuffed in the Tower of London or maybe more appropriately the court jester.

At the same time, Carlson is trying to make Allen in to some sort of right wing wacko. I am as confused as the photos posted above are.

Katie Ricklefs, Democratic Party County Chair stated, “He has outstanding experience and a passion for the position that will make him an exceptional supervisor.” – they probably think he is royalty within the CoCo Dem Party, he dresses like it!
