This statement of values is a joke. It presents “Better Government” as the solution for the list of problems that California has. This is a classic moderate-I-don’t-believe-in-anything campaigning. It is so grossly watered down and presents NOTHING in terms of actual solutions and policy to solve the problem.
It is also defensive and overly pandering.
However, this is a clear picture in to the minds that are feasting off of the stripped carcass of the CAGOP.
If anyone thinks this will motivate anyone to vote Republican, think again. Typical of squishes, there is no passion, nor a call to action.
Intrepid Blogger, thanks for sharing. Maybe the CAGOP should have a contest for next Statewide Voter Information Packet. Per the Secretary of State’s Election Calendar, the deadline for political party statements is Election Day minus 110 day (E-110). This should be about Jul 25, 2022, for the General Election on Nov 08, 2022. The statement is limited to 200 words.
