| Dear Delegates,
Our beloved CAGOP needs transformation, actually an extreme makeover. I’m writing to ask you to please join me in that extreme makeover.
Our party registration teeters near 3rd party status. Those who crow 600,000 new Republicans have been registered in the last year, without a California Republican Party registration program fail to tell you that Democrats registered 1.8 million new Democrats, WITH a program. in the same time frame.
Ending this disparity is Job 1.
How? By returning to a dynamic and comprehensive Republican Voter Registration Program. A “well oiled” registration engine combining all County parties and GOP organizations. A machine relentless in seeking out new voters, and unregistered Republicans. To boldly go where no Republican has gone before!
Our Party must work to recapture disenchanted Republicans who have left us and registered with other Parties or none at all.
We’ve employed such a system in the past. And it’s worked well!
It can work again, but only with a Chairman committed to not only leading the makeover our party but actually rolling up his sleeves and getting his hands dirty doing the work.
This is the first of many ideas I will be sharing with you. But our communication will not be one way. I want to hear your thoughts and ideas on how we return our Party to relevance in California politics and policy.
My vision in this new millennium is that we not only register but actually elect more Republicans than ever before. That includes winning more elections than we lose. That includes organization and that includes recruitment.
I hope you are ready for this. If you have a vision for the future of our party, won’t you share it with me?
Thanks
Steve Frank
Candidate for Chair of the California Republican Party

I concur 100%
With strong leadership this can be implemented and Steve Frank
does have the qualifications for, we can NOT allowed our CA GOP
to die, as it’s in life support at the present time.
The three most important things that influence the outcome of elections is voter registration, voter registration, and voter registration. Between Feb 2019 and Oct 2020 DEM registration increased 1,557,949; REP registration increased 624,472; NPP declined 361,812; and the rest increased 248,390. (Secretary of State voter registration statistics). In 2019 the NPPs had more registered voters in CA than REPs. REPs can thank the DEMs for getting back second place. The DEMs aggressive voter registration program included getting NPPs to re-register Democratic.
