Stan Sniff Update: Two More Cover Ups? One With C SGT. Azevedo and another involving Undersheriff DiYorio

Legal Disclaimer: The first following is an anonymous email from someone presenting themselves as a correctional employee at the main jail aka RPDC (Robert Pressley Detention Center). The second is someone with knowledge of another issue. I have attempted to independently verify the DUI arrest and have not been able to do so. This indicates that the DUI arrest was completely covered up by Undersheriff DiYorio as is alleged in this email or the arrest never happened. Given the litany of corruption we’ve uncovered systematically on the Right on Daily Blog, this is a believable story.

So it appears another cover up. This time with Correctional Sergeant Acevedo (male) who is the supervisor in the RPDC Business Office (BO). All BO staff are pissed because Acevedo has been inappropriate with an Sheriff’s Custody Assistant Trainee.

We asked ourselves what supervisor would take a female trainee on multiple food runs every night. What supervisor would bring some type of year book in for a female trainee to look at, I guess to see what a stud he was back in the day. What supervisor would demand this female trainees training officer to be released off of training early just so she could work overtime. What supervisor would bring in drinks for her before work. What supervisor would allow a trainee to hang out in his office all night long, obviously OT learning her job!

So, after this was brought to the attention of Correctinal Lieutenant Hyland the BO supervisor and I’m assuming another one of AS Gutierrez’s puppets, and RPDC Admin, nothing happened to Acevedo and the female was moved to another team.

We tried to talk to Acevedo as this was occurring, as we all thought this was an inappropriate behavior of a supervisor, but he did not care and blew everyone off.

We are pissed. The cover ups need to stop!

Hi Aaron,

I feel appalled at the fact that a deputy got so many hours without pay for simply showing his support for Bianco that I think you need to investigate the discipline received by Undersheriff Di Yorio’s executive assistant Marta Tapia formerly known as Marta Navarro. This woman was arrested for a DUI in Riverside right before Di Yorio became Undersheriff. Since it happened close to the last election and Colleen Walker was protecting her. She only got 8 hours vs a 160 hour offense for regular employees! That is IF they avoid termination for getting a DUI. She was not demoted or transferred for embarrassing the department which is what often happens to regular employees! One of the “faces” of the department who is part of major committees might l add has a criminal record (unless she got it expunged which I doubt). This department is a joke and I’m sick and tired of watching good people get bullied while the rest of us stand in the side lines.

The assertion that Martha Navarro got a DUI and then only received one day off as admin punishment is insane considering a Deputy was just hammered for Two Weeks Off unpaid for taking a picture of himself with a Bianco Sign while in uniform. If true, add this to the growing list.

Colleen Walker is someone I get talked to about a lot. Walker was an Assistant Sheriff and has a long-term relationship with Stan Sniff. The river flows and the web is deep and multi-faceted. It needs to be cleaned up.

Hey Aaron, check out the Desert Sun. There’s an article about a K-9 deputy letting his dog bite a handcuffed suspect. There’s video too. Just some more water from the river.

I am not going to defend ANYONE on the second floor. But with Marta if she did get arrested for a DUI and only got 8 hours, she is an O.A., and not a sworn staff member, so she is not held to the same high standard as the rest of us that are sworn. Although giving a Deputy multiple hours for supporting Bianco is a disparity in treatment, but the second floor does not care. That was a big issue with the honest detectives working I.A. because if you had two deputies that did the same thing, but one Deputy was well liked, they would reprimand the well liked Deputy, and give hours to the other Deputy. Same thing when it comes to special assignments and promotions. All Dekker did was cause hate at whatever station he was working at, but the second floor in their wisdom decided Dekker was management material. Look at the allegations Dekker made while at Temecula, how many deputies were prosecuted for false arrest, excessive use of force, ect., not a one. And how many deputies were fired for the same allegations made, not a one. So Dekker’s a Brady issue, but let’s promote him anyway.
