Mazarei is also Stan Sniff’s second largest donor and becomes a central campaign issue for the Sheriff… as in the top law enforcement official in Riverside County. It is the opinion of this blogger that Mazarei should be a customer of the Riverside Sheriff and not a donor.
Mohammad Ali Mazarei sent a poorly written legal demand letter in January that was signed by a millennial attorney who is an officer in the local Young Republicans. Mohammad is reupted to have used them to do all sorts of jobs for him in the past with the promise of donations. One such job was moving cars around for him. According to confidential informants, Mazarei never donated after the work was done. I wonder if the young lady likely was not compensated for signing her name to Mohammad’s letter either. The legal demand letter is turning out to be as truthful as anything from the second floor.
In the letter, Mohammad Ali Mazarei threatened to sue me because:
- He never got preferential treatment from Stan Sniff for a CCW Permit. We have thoroughly shredded that assertion.
- He is not under investigation, it is his business. We have also shredded that assertion repeatedly.
- He did not know Stan Sniff until 2011, that assertion gets shredded in this post (read on)
This legal demand letter was shared on facebook by several people, among them local electeds in Riverside County. I will be hunting them all down at a time of my choosing, because this is how you deal with bullies. I am motivated even more so now that the entire premise and all points of Mazarei’s letter are being proven untruthful.
We’ve learned that it is possible that Mazarei attempted to get his employee at the Smog Shop prosecuted in an attempt to save himself. A commenter on the blog indicated that Mazarei is refusing to let the terminated employee recover his tools even though he is not going to be prosecuted. Since Mazarei has donated Something like $54,000 to Sniff, one would assume that the employee has no help from law enforcement to recover his property.
Perhaps Mazarei needs to give Walter Cole (the employee he tried to screw) a $1000 reward for his tools? Perhaps Stan Sniff needs to come clean about his role in all of this as he took a $9300
Perhaps Mazarei needs to pay his bills? He has a $726 Tax lien to Riverside County and there is this:
Ali got sued for $15,051.01
It appears from reading the text of the lawsuit that Mr. Mazarei (ahem via business entities) was looking at starting up a Baja Fresh Mex Franchise. He was well in to the process and decided to withdraw. It looks like he paid only $2K of the $17K related to startup costs and the bank he left holding the bag sued him via several business entities for breach of contract.
You can read the entire lawsuit document here.
You will note that the AM/PM Travelzone (Ali’s Main Business) that is also the subject of the current Smog Check Fraud investigation is central in this lawsuit.
Ali Mazarei also sued the Perris Chamber of Commerce attempting to get all of his donations to them back. I am sure the Perris Chamber of Commerce does not like Stan Sniff very much either after this caper.
Given this bizarre pattern of behavior, and a demonstrated lack of ethics and integrity in business practices, I was not surprised as one after another Mazarei’s claims in his threats were shredded. It is clear to me that Mazarei lied and several people bought the lie.
Not only does it show Mohammad Ali Mazarei (note, I call him this because in his legal demand letter he made a point of mentioning his legal name. Since we care about such things here on the rightondaily blog, Mohammad Ali is getting his wish) on the list of Sniffy’s endorsements, it is also a list that is double the size of what it is in 2018.
Don’t forget that Stan Sniff is also alleged to have arranged a police escort for Mohammad Ali Mazarei when he moved from Woodcrest to Perris.
Stan Sniff’s world is shrinking and he is completely dependent upon folks like Mohammad Ali Mazarei to get re-elected. Now, we’ve established their long relationship back to 2009. What’s next on the hit parade?
My favorite part of Mohammad Ali’s legal demand letter (we did not edit the typos):
You also imply that Mr. Mazarei is a violent and dangerous man because he has been photographed posing with a variety of weapons. That he would be photographed like that is not surprising given that he is a Federally Licensed Class III Firearms Dealers supplying weapons to local Law Enforcement and Homeland Security officers. (In case you are wondering, I note that he has not sold weapons to the Riverside County Sherif s Department, though he proudly counts many individual officers and deputies as customers and friends.)
Linked here is a $100 Check in 7/1/2009 around the time his CCW Permit was either being processed or issued. There is a $1500 check in 2011 and $225.52 worth of bumper stickers as well in 2010.
Whoops. Looks like Muh Buddy Mohammad Ali did indeed know Mr. Sniff and did indeed start donating to him around about the same time or before he got his First CCW. DOH! Riverside Confidential will roll on…

Keep up the good work Aaron. You should also do a story on the sexual harassment that happened in Southwest aka Byrd Detention Center. The plaintiff was named Tammy Soak Smoak. That one made L.A. news, but seems to have faded away. You should see what you could dig up for the ROD faithful. Fight the good fight and keep the cockroaches scrambling.
It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood!!!!
Because Ali has a disorder that gives him an inflated sense of self-importance, I know he will be looking at this page many times over because it has a picture of his big fat face on it. I have seen many of Ali’s ridiculous FB posts where he talks a lot of trash and butchers the English language while doing so. I see that Ali likes to try and blame Chad Bianco for many of the comments on this blog and he used to accuse Chad of being the intrepid blogger.
Ali, let me attempt to educate you a little bit because you have obviously been receiving one sided information that is grossly inaccurate. First of all, almost every comment you see on this blog is placed there by a department member who is completely fed up with your friend Stan Sniff and they want him removed from office. Chad Bianco does not tell any of us what to write, we all have minds of our own and the words we speak are the result of being fed up with this politician who calls himself sheriff. Most department members are afraid to comment here because they believe Sniff is crooked enough to have his CATCH team trace their IP addresses and then persecute them in the workplace. I think now you obviously know that Chad is not the intrepid blogger, now that you have a selfie with Aaron himself.
Ali, when you make your FB comments about the $700 million dollar budget, it’s actually quite comical to read your words because you sound as if you believe Stan Sniff is sitting at a desk, wearing an accountant’s visor and pulling the handle of an adding machine. Stan Sniff is a politician who is constantly out campaigning, there are hundreds of department employees who work with the budget every day, while Sniff is out campaigning. Each station has a lieutenant who oversees and works closely with the accounting staff on all of the budget issues. The lieutenants actually know more about the budget than the captains do. There are also administrative sergeants who are also well versed on the budget, as well as a host of other employees. It’s a huge machine Ali and it’s wheels have been turning a long time and they will continue to turn because of all the people who make them turn, not because of Stan Sniff. He is nothing more than a talking head.
You see Ali, if Stan was a good man who cared about anything other than himself, he would be more concerned about finding out what he has done wrong to cause all of the hate and discontent in the department, instead of sending his bullies out to find out who is supporting Chad Bianco.
If he really must know who is supporting Chad Bianco, there is a list in alphabetical order on a program we call AgencyWeb. Maybe Kevin Vest can help him with that. It’s not too late for you to do the right thing and vote for Chad Bianco Ali. Do it for the men and women of this department. I realize you hate to have to lose the sheriff you currently have in your back pocket, but do it for all of us who need fresh new leadership in this department.
Bravo, J. Adams, well said!!
The entire 2nd Floor and some administrators are so drunk on power they forgot how to lead. I’ve had supervisors I would gladly run into a burning building if ordered to do so. Others, I’d probably just watch them get burned before I ran in to save them.
This is the result of poor leadership. If they all walked the walk, took care of us rather than blaming the BOS and others because their morale compass is off, there would be no need for opposition or the need to vote Sniff out of office.
If Sniff would stick to the rule book instead of bending it for his cronies, allowing one to continue working even though she cannot walk without a cane, bring retired curmudgeons back as consultants who have been found to steal from our taxpayers so they can have an expensive (drone) hobby (a hot air balloons would’ve been more effective) and send the marionettes out for the purpose of spying and intimidating Bianco supporters, he wouldn’t be so scared right now (and he is scared along with the other tools that make up the 2nd Floor).
Aaron, thanks for giving us a forum to vent about how messed up things are. I am glad they read this and our comments because they need to know how fucked up they are and we are not going to take it anymore.
My wife and I voted for Bianco via absentee ballot last night. What a great feeling!
Hopefully, others will do the same and get these turds out of the 2nd Floor.
Hey Kevin Vest/ Lyndon Wood/ Jason Hoton/ Pissing in his Pants Purvis/ Ali and Stan Sniff- Every one of you bitches sucks the fucking sweat off a dead mans ball. Can’t wait until your bitch asses are a sorry ass footnote in RSO History! Fed up working for you fucks.
Do any of Sniff’s retarded assholes like Vest, Wood, Horton or DiYorio ever stop and wonder why this 70 year old man’s inflated ego won’t allow him to step down and just retire with his gigantic pension? I’m sure they won’t dare ask him because they all fear he will chastise them. It’s like J. Adams said, it’s a big machine and the wheels will keep turning long after he is gone. I read the Desert Sun’s joke of an editorial, those morons as stupid as the PE and every bit as biased. I think the majority of people know how full of shit the fake news press is anyway, so that rag is nothing but trash.
What the voters of this county have learned is that there is a huge problem with the current sheriff and he must be voted out of office to restore the department to what it once was. Now is the time.
# VOTE CHAD BIANCO FOR RIVERSIDE SHERIFF
@Charile Beck: I lost faith over the “newspaper” in this county when the PE plastered Deputy Haugen and Deputy Lehman on their front page. The things the sheriff and his marionettes have done, as reported in this blog, and NOT A HEADLINE from any of the worthless rags out here?!?
Goes to show how corrupt our sheriff is when he can hush the press.
Transparency my ass.
EVERYONE GET OUT AND VOTE FOR OUR NEW SHERIFF!!
BIANCO FOR SHERIFF – 2018
J. Adams, I appreciate what you said. The valid points you make are given more weight among citizen voters because you appear frustrated, but dont insult others. Well done.
J. Adams, you are my hero, everything you said is accurate about the Sheriff, and the second floor. The problem is that with the exception of a few people on the Sheriff’s executive staff, most of them have been promoted beyond their capabilities. They did nothing in their careers, other than stepping on everyone in their path on their way to get next to the Sheriff. And if you look at their promotional press releases, the P.I.O. had to scramble to find anything that he could embellished on to justify their promotion (with the exception of a couple command staff members that actually did something in their career). The Sheriff does not want “free thinkers” on his command staff because it jeopardizes his position, and he refuses to recognize that he is no longer an effective leader. A new command is needed to save his sinking ship, the S.S. RSO. Granted that may mean some staff members on the second floor will no longer have a job, but maybe this is necessary in order to have effective leadership again. In 1887, British politician John Dalberg Action said “Absolute power corrupts absolutely,” and it still applies to this day.
