Did you see that vulnerable Rep Ami Bera lost the Sac Dem Party endorsement because he did not adhere to dem party principles?

After angering some within the liberal wing of his party, Democratic Rep. Ami Bera came to Sacramento on Sunday to make a personal appeal but still failed to receive enough support from activists to secure the Democratic endorsement for his re-election.

Bera, a perennial target of Republicans, does not face an intraparty challenge, but his votes to advance a controversial trade agreement and limit Syrian and Iraqi refugees from resettling in the U.S. have been enough to spark the rare level of backlash that flared again at the regional gathering.

So – even with Bera in the cross-hairs of an extremely strong Republican Challenger, the Sacramento Dem Party held true to its’ principles.
As we have written previously, the OC GOP ran a drill and brow beat people to make sure that the incumbent was supported at all costs in the SD37 Race. We have and will document that John Moorlach is a big government moderate and frequently violates the GOP platform with his stances.

And people wonder why the OCGOP share of the vote has gone from 68% in 1992 down to 56% in 2012?
