First of all – all seven candidates were there. Typical of a Republican Primary, there are far too many candidates in the field. Notable, this was the first time Mik Mikaluco and Gabriel Hydrick were at an event that I am aware of. Suzanne Jones was also...
#1 Local Business PAC Endorsement. #2 ONLY Candidate to make the cut for Trailblazers. Excerpted from an Email I received recently: Good morning. I am excited to announce more positive news for the campaign. The Political Action Committee of the Roseville Area...
There is a reason why Baghdad Bob was so popular in the USA. While the M-1 Tanks were rolling on Baghdad and the bombs were exploding – he was there assuring the world that Iraq was destroying the American pigs. Whoops. Three months later he was in prison...
Cristi Nelson has been running for AD06 for about a year. She has been out-raised by Bill Halldin in 4 months and now is having to resort to some poorly constructed spin in her campaign updates. She recently sent out a press release claiming that she out-raised her...
Much has been made about the Placer County Transportation Agency hiring a local PR firm to send mail and conducting town-hall meetings floating the idea of a Transportation Sales Tax Increase measure on the local ballot. We have written here several times that our...
Remember our post about Lincoln Council-member Gabriel Hydrick joining the AD06 race? Two of his colleagues support Bill Halldin. The other two have not endorsed. Since posting about Hydrick and hearing about Hydrick, we have heard nothing further. However local...
Let’s Catch Everyone up. A few days ago, it got out that recent entrant and rumored Team Gaines recruit Kevin Hanley was attempting to recruit staff for his AD06 campaign. The would-be staffer was from Auburn. The first endorsement Kevin Hanley announced was...

Former Auburn Council-Member Kevin Hanley moved to Rocklin. (Just like Team Gaines pick #1 Dave Titus) I had received limited intel dating back 6 weeks that Hanley was playing with it. (Running for AD06) Clay Sigg (Team Gaines Pick #2) has not been catching on...
After 7/1 came and passed, you knew this would happen. The little-known candidates with big dreams would attempt to introduce themselves to the political world. It makes sense, if you have no name ID, you need to attempt to establish legitimacy. Bill Halldin...
I was on vacation. Sorry. Bill Halldin (pictured) and another candidate have entered the race. Bill Halldin enters the race as the most formidable candidate. He is well-liked by all. He is the only one in the field that is in office. He has a thick rolodex of...
The original plan was for Dave Titus to run for his boss (Beth Gaines) job and for Gaines to run against Kirk Uhler for Supervisor in Placer D4. Both were reported on this blog as vetted rumors and both of these efforts evaporated shortly thereafter. While the...
