This stuff writes itself. Several months ago I lit Holly Andreatta up for an ill-advised mailer in her 71-28 drubbing of a campaign for Supervisor.
This snippet is from a piece of mail that arrived highlighting the Holly Andreatta Experience in Lincoln. “Lincoln Deserves Better” she wrote – before voting to put a one cent sales tax hike on the ballot for November 2026. I guess deserving better is shopping in Rocklin or Roseville for lower sales taxes.

Remember this mess from 15 years ago? One of the architects of the mess Spencer “Spender” Short is running for Council Again in a different district, and it appears that Holly Andreatta has caught the same disease Short and his buddies had when they sewed the seeds of Lincoln’s fiscal mess. Dear Skeptics – I took this picture myself years ago at the McBean Fire Station which sat idle with a $1.4 Million Ladder Truck In it for years.
Now “Conservative” Holly Andreatta is telling everyone it is time for higher taxes to stop this from happening again! Why? Couldn’t the so-called fiscal conservative Lincoln Council have spent differently? Oh, wait, blame the County of Placer for Everything, that’s it! That worked so well in the Spring.
It is safe to say that Holly has learned nothing from the drubbing at the ballot box, in fact, if anything has gotten worse as she has been on a rampage against anyone perceived as disloyal. Given that she mustered only 28% of the vote, she has a lot of people to rage on. And of course, the county of placer is baaaaaad, blah blah blah.
It is not often that I see a candidate lose by 41 points, go on a rage rampage and then use the EXACT SAME PLATFORM just months later. But, here we are.
Holly has also been no stranger to controversy, using her daughter as a campaign prop and getting torched for it.
Mayor Holly Andreatta, who recently launched her campaign for Placer County Supervisor, spoke for about 25 minutes at the inaugural meeting of Club America at Twelve Bridges High School. In her remarks she tied her daughter’s sexual orientation to childhood trauma, said that separation of church and state was a myth and relayed Kirk’s belief that Martin Luther King Jr. was a Marxist and that his civil rights activism was “not helpful.”
While I agree that Separation of Church and Mind as I like to call it is a myth, using your daughter as a campaign prop is a pure classless trash move. Then, proving a pattern of behavior, an assault occurred a few months later on the campaign trail.
The report synopsis said Andreatta threw the papers at Landon, hitting her in the face. Andreatta told deputies she threw the papers toward Landon’s lap, but Landon and two witnesses said the papers hit Landon in the face. Landon declined to press charges but asked deputies to document the event in case another confrontation occurred.
Now, there’s a good pattern, zero self discipline, diarrhea of the mouth, and bully behavior. This is the truck stop sideshow I have come to know Holly Andreatta to be. Sad, indeed.
Then there is this, Holly chickened out from a campaign forum that had long since been planned:
It was not hard to find a lot of people talking about how Holly and Ben Brown skipped out on this at the last minute.
I am equally as mystified that Brown would post this as a part of his campaign:
I suppose he is trying to attack Spender Short, but at the same time he is hanging this around his own neck. Since Short is not in office and so many new people have moved into Lincoln since, this is idiotic. I am also aware that Holly’s messaging is similar – highlight the problems and the solution – a big FAT tax increase. Literally everything in this graphic is a current City of Lincoln Problem!
What did Holly do to fix it? Put a tax on the ballot!?
Then, when bullying stopped working she skipped out on a long since scheduled candidate forum put on by local interests.
… and it took 20 years to build a dammed Dutch Brothers Coffee in Lincoln which I am told is not doing so hot financially. What a mess indeed.
Lastly, please note that Holly Andreatta lost her own home precinct in June by 18%. (So it wasn’t just West Roseville that sent her packing) Hopefully that happens again soon.
P.S. Since some people have a deep inner need for a boogeyman, please ask yourself how I got this nice clean copy of the recently arrived mailer in Lincoln.
