Karm Bains Update: Despite Paying a ton of consultants and trying to project strength, Karm’s Past and Present Behavior is Catching Up With Him. More People Come Forward

It is rare when all the kids of someone who is wealthy are harmonious and completely free of maladies. The Bains Clan is apparently no different. It appears that several within Karm’s own family are none too pleased with his campaign.

They have confirmed Karm’s heavy drinking and boorish behavior for example. (Some have attempted to minimize Karm’s 2 DUI Convictions + 2 other alcohol related incidents as “in the past”) It also appears that Karm Bains’ apparent lack of financial ethics have continued in to recent history as well. We’ve seen it, Karm has attempted to bully people, as related to your intrepid blogger by people at Tamika Hamilton’s event that Karm crashed. We’ve been told stories about Karm’s behavior at local chamber events. This is why the following email I received from a someone very close to Karm rings true:

Karm Bains: On going Run-ins with Law Enforcement

In recent news, Candidate for Sutter County Supervisor Karm Bains, received the Sutter Deputy’s Sheriff Association’s endorsement! Why has the Yuba City Police Officers Association not endorsed Karm Bains yet? What troubles currently lie between Karm Bains and the Yuba City Police Officers Association?

It has been reported Karm Bains has been called out by Local Law Enforcement for continued run-ins while intoxicated. Several members of Law Enforcement have been discussing this openly. Did Sutter Deputy’s Sheriff Association overlook or dismiss some of his actions? We look forward to hearing from the Yuba City Police Officers Association and Karm Bains to elaborate.

(Note: Karm Bains and family have donated $50,000 to Yuba City Police Department in recent years, and still have no endorsement)

We’ve been contacted by people off of our Facebook page wondering how the Yuba-Sutter Sheriff’s Association would endorse Karm Bains given his criminal history.

#1 Bains has the support of the establishment, Garamendhi, LaMalfa, Nielsen (all of whom Bains has donated to). That might be a reason? Some of which he has paid for as he has at least 6 top consultants from the north state on his payroll.

#3 Did Bains promise them something or threaten them?

Given the fact that uninformed people on the ground in Sutter County think Karm is the favorite to win, that perception of inevitability is a huge factor in the minds of donors and stakeholders that think more about backing a winner than anything else.

You’ve probably seen campaign signs for Tej Mann around town – But now, many of those signs for that candidate running for Sutter County District 4 supervisor – have been vandalized. The Appeal-Democrat reports around 20 signs, along Bridge Street and Walton Avenue, were damaged late Monday or early Tuesday – including some where the actual face of the candidate was cut out. Mann says it’s a huge blow as he finances the campaign out of his own pocket. Anyone with information or video related evidence is urged to contact the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office.

A near brawl in a previous campaign, likely explaining the bad blood between Bains and his opponent Tej Maan. Note the FPPC Complaint Bains is alleged to have participated in filing was also dismissed 5 years later.

Deputies were dispatched to Camino Del Flores and Walton Avenue at about 6:15 p.m. Tuesday for an election-related disturbance where weapons were involved, spokeswoman Brenda Baker said last week.

Karm Bains told deputies he was standing on the corner with family, including children as young as 10 years old, to promote his cousin and Yuba City Mayor Kash Gill, when someone in a red vehicle continued to drive by swearing and making obscene gestures.

The car finally pulled up and people got out with baseball bats and hockey sticks, and they physically and verbally threatened Bains and his family, he said.

Those in the vehicle told deputies Bains and his friends were the ones making the threats and remarks, Baker said.

The altercation occurred in the wake of an attack ad mailer and robocalls targeting Gill just days before Tuesday’s election.

The life patterns of Karm Bains are set and easy to prove. They will become easier still when we follow up on why no one should give Karm Bains serious consideration ever to be a leader.
