Jeff Seaton’s Spiral Part 3 – Amador GOP / Ex-Wife / Losing his Office Edition

by | May 24, 2012 | Arnie Zeiderman, Jeff Seaton

First, a quick apology to my readers in Amador County – I am sorry for ruining for the rest of your lives the meaning of Climax Rd in Amador County. Many of you have lived in Amador County your whole lives and now Climax Rd will envoke images of Jeff Seaton’s Pool Parties…

It is one thing to endorse a train wreck – but it is still another to double-down on said endorsement.

A member of the Amador Cent Com who I have been told is on Jeff Seaton’s Campaign team – who also came on to this blog to deny both her involvement with the campaign and to call me a liar for questioning their endorsement process wrote the Amador GOP’s monthly newsletter.

Apparently, the Amador GOP Central Committee has taken the controversy personally and decided to go down with the good ship climax288 or they are tone deaf to the mountain of evidence relating to Jeff Seaton.

Attached is the Amador GOP newsletter for May 2012.

The message in the newsletter that attempts to clarify the endorsement of Jeff Seaton is itself a lie. Telling half the truth is a lie. They characterized an interview process and claimed to then go in to closed session where they could not reach 2/3 in AD05 – yet reached 2/3 to endorse Jeff Seaton. The lie is in the omission that they reconsidered the endorsement in April after it failed in March. This lie is key – because it is not only the black eye on the Amador GOP that this endorsement gives, but it is also intended to cover up the circumstances surrounding how the endorsement was rendered.

I stand 100% behind my characterization that the endorsement of Jeff Seaton by the Amador GOP was all about Arnie Zeiderman.

Update: I was told this AM that the reason why Seaton got endorsed at the April cent com meeting was because Zeiderman found a Seaton supporter to get appointed to fill a vacant seat on the Amador Cent Com. That changed a 7-4 non endorsement in to an 8-4 endorsement.

Jeff Seaton’s Ex-Wife has been curiously silent in this whole campaign.

Wouldn’t someone that worked in his office 16 years and who may have been a part of some of the wild parties have a few things to say?

A look at the hand-written notes from Seaton’s 3/20 disaster explain why Patty Seaton has been silent.

First off – Jeff Seaton is losing his office building effective 7/31. This is the only way the Judge could figure out how to get Patty the back spousal support (my assumption). The building is unencumbered and is going to be sold by Patty for the proceeds.

Second – Patty Seaton will get $3500 a month vs $2500 a month in spousal support if Jeff Seaton’s income goes over $10,000 a month.

An eagle-eyed source noted that someone named Ron McClain clicked “Like” on Jeff Seaton’s Facebook announcement of the (most likely rigged) award he got from the Amador Ledger Dispatch naming him the best Lawyer in Amador County. (insert sound of screams from the local BAR association here)

Ron McClain is identified in Jeff Seaton’s half of the divorce papers as Patty Seaton’s Boyfriend who she lives with in Greenhaven. Unless there is a Ron McClain in Amador County that clicked like – I’d have to assume that Mr. McClain is rooting for the extra $1k a month, too!

If Jeff Seaton is elected Judge – his salary would be $175k a year… well over $10k a month. Seaton will most likely never list over $10k a month from his current “practice” as the numbers I have looked at suggest some “aggressive” accounting.

In addition – the timeshares that are not listed on the payment schedule (I still have not figured out where the money is coming from to pay for these, the tract of land, etc.) were also split up.

Patty Seaton got one of the timeshares in Tahoe and got the timeshare in Hawaii. Jeff should have traded them all for the dammed office building as it appears that he can not afford to travel to any of them!

Perhaps Jeff Seaton will practice law in a Van down by the river… or maybe on 288 Climax Rd.

To Be Continued…
