The evening included the awards, the introductions that you’d expect from a County Central Committee Lincoln-Reagan Dinner.

Since we have the AD-04 Special Election – AD-04 Candidates were invited.

Bo spoke, then Rob Matthews, Cheryl Bly-Chester, Beth Gaines and John Allard in that order. I won’t comment further except to say that Allard was by far the best speaker of the lot.

McClintock spoke about the seriousness of our current situation nationally – and he used that to admonish the GOP to be unified. He gave examples in Congress of how unified the GOP delegation was against Obama.

He spoke of those who put personalities over principles. He also mentioned that 20-30 years from now, no one would remember who you got thrown off the Central Committee.

That is true.

Perhaps McClintock was referencing the Karen England-Led campaign to attempt to take control of the Central Committee in June 2010? Perhaps he was referencing her campaign for CRA President? But, he was definately admonishing all of us.

It would be nice if we could sit down and smoke the peace pipe. That seems to be what McClintock thinks could happen.

Karen England, the source and the centerpeice of the current drama on the Placer GOP Cent Com has rebuffed all attempts made by this blogger and others on behalf of Tom Hudson, George and I at conciliation. So, there is open warfare and the end result is that the Republican Party loses.

So, its’ not a simple as smoking the peace pipe, especially when Karen’s ultimate goal is to see us in Federal Prison. Why else would she hold a large check for three years and not cash it? That sort of pre-meditation is grounds for a CSI episode, not a Central Committee.

Between what Karen has said and what we’ve been told – we have determined she’s gone (and/or her allies) to the local media, called the Secratary of State’s office, the FBI, the FPPC, the Placer DA’s office, Congressmen, Assemblymembers, State Senators, Officers in the CRP and probably her therapist trying to find people to enlist in her jihad.

Its’ nice to talk about unity, but is an impossible dream with someone whose life is consumed with rage in your midst.

She has also attacked the Central Committee directly – calling people telling them not to buy tickets to our Lincoln-Reagan Dinner, interfering with volunteer recruitment efforts, and has put several Tea Party leaders at odds with the Placer County Republican Party.

I’d be hopeful of a resolution – but the attack has been constant, obsessive and over 18 months in duration.

We are all volunteers here – except Karen. She is a lobbyist with financial conflicts of interest she never disclosed whose exposure likely drove her over the edge.

It is our dedication to Republican principles that keeps us in the fight – but Republicans like Karen England, the GOP is assured of minority status in California.

I agree – let’s stop fighting and get to work.

P.S. Maybe someday we’ll see the “evidence” our accusers have regarding us.
