It is not just on the hard right where I experience people drinking their own Kool-Aid. Gavin Newsom has a text message system where he loaded in the voter database and he has volunteers sending out semi-customized form texts all over the state.

Newsom is attempting to turn around the Trump endorsement of Cox. It is my opinion that they are bugging Republicans in an attempt to boost Cox in to the top two, similar to attacking Mr. Cox for being a “Conservative Businessman”, Pro-NRA and Pro-Trump. Meantime, Antonio Villiariagosa and his lackeys in the Charter School Association are savaging John Cox in the misguided notion that attacking Cox will drive GOP voters to Antonio.

Newsom should train his staff better, unless they were seeking out the responses they are getting.

What a mess the jungle primary is.

These text messages are, however priceless.

WHAT!?

Why it sucks to be a Democrat. (WISTBAD)

No one wants to walk precincts for socialists.

Willie Brown: “I do not believe Jerry Brown has a ground operation.” Neither does Gavin Newsom or Barbara Boxer, Willie sez

From the SF Chron – who could not bring themselves to support Boxer this time around…

…A bombshell blog post that had California Socialist Party Chairman John *()#$&^%#^* Burton hopping mad.

You see Socialist Party Chairman John %$&*(^$# Burton had to put up with two of his top Moonbats lambasting the lack of passion on the Democrat side:

First there was Willie – then there was Garry South:

South told the gathering that unless Jerry Brown has a lead of 7 or 8 points going into election day, “we’re in serious trouble.”

And John *(^%$*( Burton hit the ceiling:

Dem Party chair John Burton told us in plain Burtonese: “Willie Brown is full of (poo-poo). And Garry South never liked any politician who wasn’t paying him. So you’ve got two full of (poo-poo) guys who aren’t relevant to anything in this campaign talking about it.”

WAAAAAAAAAAAH MOMMIE!!!

Why it sucks to be a Democrat. Only paid whores Union Workers on sick days will walk precincts for you?

P.S. Note how Newsome was included in those grim comments? Could it be that the Dems know Maldonado is winning as well?

Steven Greenhut of the OC Register writes that a local Tea Party activist wants to mount a statewide Write-In campaign to help elect Gavin Newsome by syphoning votes off of Abel Maldonado.

Why? Abel refused to stand up for Prop 8. I thought the Tea Party was all about fiscal and not social issues?

Is this a publicity stunt or is this real?

Steven Greenhut: It’s more than a rumor California conservatives are actively recruiting a write-in candidate for lieutenant governor in response to Abel Maldonado’s refusal yesterday to sign onto the state’s appeal of the ruling overturning anti-gay-marriage Prop. 8. No one expects this conservative to have a shot at winning, but this possible candidacy is viewed as a means to bring up conservative ideas in a campaign between a liberal Republican and a liberal Democrat. For many activists we talked to, Maldonado’s refusal to file an appeal while he was acting governor (and was busy signing other laws as Schwarzenegger was out of the country) was the last straw in a career of tax hikes and government expansions. If the candidacy costs Lt. Gov. Maldonado the election, well there aren’t many conservatives who will be upset about that. One possible candidate is Karen England, executive director of the conservative Capitol Resource Institute and a long-time activist. Stay tuned.

Where was all this activism when Sam Aanestad was on the ballot against Abel?

Now Maldo is the nominee and anything other than voting for him is putting Gavin Newsome in that office. (Which may be Karen England’s goal – or again it could be a publicity stunt)

California Governor Candidates: Jerry Brown – freaked out liberal Mayor of Oakland, Atty General who likes to sue to stop development.

Meg Whitman: Admittedly Liberal Republican

Lt. Governor Candidates: Gavin Newsome – Mayor of Bankrupt San Francisco, sanctuary city where innocent citizens are murdered by illegal alien felons and who violated state law by Marrying people at City Hall (when he was about to be overrun by scandal)

Abel Maldonado: Sold his vote on the largest tax increase in state history for Prop 14. 22% score from the CRA in 2009, worse than some democrats.

Atty General: Kamala Harris – hates punishing criminals, and part of the SF establishment behind the maintenance of their sanctuary city

Steve Cooley: reportedly a social Liberal. Out of the above six – easily the most conservative, taking stands in favor of border security, three-strikes and enforcing existing laws regardless of whether he agrees with them

US Senate – Barbara Boxer, Freaked Out Liberal from San Francisco. Hates the Military, 28 years in office

Carly Fiorina – finally, we hit a top-down conservative.

The question is – are the liberal Republicans enough of a contrast from the Freaked-Out Liberal slate from San Francisco?

I think Cooley can make that case.

Carly makes that case easily.

Maldonado and Meg Whitman?

Failure to have a USP (Unique Selling Proposition) other than Jerry Brown is bad – will not fly.
