Unless you are living under a rock, you’d be aware that Holly Andreatta and Ben Brown chickened out on a candidate forum in Lincoln. Shortly thereafter after the State of the City event in Lincoln, CA (held in the Sun City Lincoln facility at the 12 bridges area), Holly Andreatta is alleged to have assaulted a local businessowner in the course of having a “disagreement” over hers and Ben Brown’s cowardice. (Only candidates afraid of losing chicken out on candidate forums.

The victim of the assault (yes, I am calling it that) opened up a business in 2020 called Rockstar Music Center and owns the event center where the candidate forum was supposed to be held.

When the outrage started boiling over the assault, Holly attempted to put the genie back in the bottle with a veiled legal threat against Supervisor Shanti Landon who wrote a letter to the editor that was lethal about the incident.

This week, following Lincoln’s State of the City address, Ms. Andreatta reportedly confronted a respected local small business owner in an incident witnessed by several people. According to those accounts, her behavior escalated beyond words to unwanted physical contact. Verbal intimidation is troubling enough, but putting your hands on another person crosses a line that no elected official should ever cross.

Allow me to post the definition of assault in terms even Holly Andreatta, Ben Brown, Zachary Eaton and Sean Scully can understand:

A threat or attempt to inflict offensive physical contact or bodily harm on a person (as by lifting a fist in a threatening manner) that puts the person in immediate danger of or in apprehension of such harm or contact

Within Hours of the legal threat against Shanti Landon on Friday 10-23-2026, Both Holly and Ben Brown changed their story from “This is false, everything is ok”, to “It wasn’t assault”. I am of the belief that Lincoln Police Chief Zach Eaton who is 39 and newly hired or the City Manager Sean Scully tipped off Holly and/or Ben that the incident was on tape.

Why do I type that? It has come to your intrepid blogger’s attention that the victim of the assault fears for the future of his businesses as he believes the Lincoln PD is not acting honestly for starters. Secondly, Holly Andreatta and this business owner have a long history that involves Holly doing what she does best, bullying him.

But the more disturbing part is the Lincoln Police Chiefs’ behavior. More than one person has told your intrepid blogger that the police chief told the victim that he conferred with the City Manager about the incident! Note – both the police chief and the city manager are “AT WILL” employees and could be terminated at any time with 4 votes (a 2/3 vote of 5 members allows “urgency”). Given Holly Andreatta’s long standing pattern of bullying, it is not a stretch to believe that the young, first-time police Chief is afraid of her.

Chief Zach Eaton told the victim, he and the city manager did not think an assault occurred. Um, Chief, that is for the Placer County District Attorney to determine once your department completes the investigation! Are Sean Scully and Zach Eaton conspiring to cover up a crime? That rookie police Chief should have asked the Placer County Sheriff’s Office to take over the investigation because of the conflict of interest and the fact that the alleged crime was committed BY SOMEONE WHO CAN FIRE HIM!

While it is not unusual for the CM and the Police Chief to talk about an alleged crime committed by a sitting councilmember, it is unheard of for the Police Chief to go full James Comey and declare himself the final arbiter of justice. There are also STRICT guidelines about said communications layered with an active investigation – those certainly do not include the City Manager making a legal determination of guilt or innocence.

If you’re not convinced — About that tape? The Police Chief only gave the victim the short 10-15 second clip. There is, however a much longer tape that was recorded by the Sun City Lincoln security cameras, and they REFUSED to give it to the victim stating they would only give it to law enforcement. Sun City Lincoln had better Lawyer up.

The Lincoln City Attorney better dust off his law manuals about defending against corruption – because the Lincoln Chief of Police REFUSED to give the victim the full tape AFTER UNILATERALLY declaring he thought there was no crime!

He claimed it is subject to a PRA – well the victim asking him for it directly is indeed the PRA. RELEASE THE TAPE Sean Scully and Zach Eaton!

Now do you understand why the victim of this assault is scared s–tless? I would be too!!! He got acosted by Lincoln’s Lot Lizard, the rest of the council all lied publicly about the incident and now the police Chief is sitting on the evidence until after the election at least.

I also think the people of Lincoln deserve a police Chief that has gone through puberty, but I digress.

It doesn’t stop there – Ohana Strategy Group is on Holly Andreatta’s Campaign Finance Report. Ohana strategy group is owned by Lincoln City Councilmembers John Reedy and Whitney Eklund. Eklund is said to have seen the incident as it transpired and like Ben Brown immediately started parroting the homogenized lies about the occurrences. Eklund and Reedy have also shaken down school board candidates in the Lincoln area as well. A review of public filings shows they have taken $5500 of the $12000 Michelle Kubo has raised.

Worse than the grifting is that if Eklund and Reedy have discussed any city policy in the course of “Managing” Holly Andreatta’s campaign, that is a clear 5-alarm Brown Act Violation. Not to worry, I am sure the Chief of Police and the City Manager will “investigate” that one too!

Now, are you getting an idea of what’s wrong with Lincoln CA? The Council Members are paying each other for endorsements it looks like, they are team lying (and getting caught in it) and on said payroll of each other and they hired a pre-pubescent Police Chief to carry the bag for the whole thing. (Not to mention the City MisManager)

Given what your intrepid blogger knows, how could any reasonable person form different opinions than those I have expressed? But if you are still not in agreement, keep reading…

Mix in $100K of developer campaign cash – conveniently timed while the City Council is considering a MAJOR rule change that would make said donors a boatload of money (see also reducing open space set asides by 25-50%) and you are giving Rob Bonta the California Attorney General a platform to nuke a Red Suburban City outside of Sacramento CA!

But wait, there’s more! A massive 1% Sales Tax Increase (filed as a general tax) they are lying to voters about (calling it a special tax in campaign advertising – another major no-no) to trick Sun City Lincoln voters in to voting yes on it!

Good Lord people – you know what to do! Vote for Spencer Short or Christine Colvin depending on which district you live in!

FYI – on the 2028 Menu: Whitney Eklund, John Reedy and Richard Pearl. I will properly educate them all on how to run a campaign if given the chance.

P.S. the slime extends to the Placer County Republican Party unfortunately. Dauntless Communications, owned by Eric Eisenhammer got paid to build a website for Holly. Your intrepid blogger has been told that similar to other endorsements in the past, Eisenhammer never recused himself from voting for endorsing another paying client. What the hell is wrong with these so-called Conservatives???
