Over the years, there is a hallmark of a do-it-yourself-candidate. They spend their entire campaign on social media in the vain hope that they can make up for a lack of money to advertise with the free medium of Facebook.
“Seig Hail” as I call the man, is further demonstrating the psychosis that comes with staying up all hours of the night obsessing about “how bad” his opponent is versus doing actual things that might reach voters.
What is this bill? What does it do?
So apparently, the latest “evidence” that Hadwick is BAAAAAD is a bill that passed with Gallagher gone campaigning for Congress and a democrat gone for whatever reason and only Carl DeMaio voting no.
Known conservatives like Joe Patterson and Allie Macedo voted yes.
Darin Hale demonstrates that he is not ready to be in office clearly as his standard is voting no on everything – basically painting himself into a corner before even taking office! This is what happens when your judgement is impaired, and you are ruled by anger. Your decisions are not well thought out at all. There is no synopsis of what the bill does, and the website he is using does indeed have information on the bills. Either Hale is too lazy, too impaired, or not smart enough to figure it out. All we know is that Carl DeMaio voted no and that’s it.
In 2024, when Heather Hadwick was against Tenessa Audette in the runoff, the Shasta GOP endorsed Audette on the 6th attempt, gaining the required 2/3 of the vote. The main driver of this were two staffers of the late congressman Doug LaMalfa – Erin Ryan and Brenda Haynes.
In the months since winning election, Hadwick had worked with the late LaMalfa’s office and Mrs. Haynes directly on some issues – winning them over based on her effectiveness and professionalism.
Despite the intimidation of Darin Hale – who has been on an absolute rampage the last two months, both Ryan and Haynes stood up for Hadwick at last night’s Shasta GOP meeting. Your intrepid blogger had been aware that Tenessa Audette had been pushing hard for Hale (you know, the Christian Value of Revenge), but the vote came out dead even. (you need 2/3 to win an endorsement)
Since Hail has limited, if any resources, this is a near-fatal blow to his suicide mission for Assembly.
I have been a critic of Haynes and Ryan over the years (similar to the Late Congressman) but I’d be remiss to NOT give them credit for their maturity and professionalism in giving Heather a chance to prove herself as a representative and thusly rewarding Heather Hadwick with their support for doing her job.
This stands in stark contrast to the no-platform Darin Hale whose entire campaign exists to attack people. (Not just Hadwick, but is inflicting area damage in the City of Anderson as well)
P.S. I am old enough to remember Carl DeMaio’s campaign for CA-52 when he was billed as the “Next Generation Moderate Republican Candidate for Congress” (or something similar) against Democrat Incumbent Bob Filner. (who later resigned over a sex scandal) Good Times.
