Anytime a Republican endorses a democrat for major office, it is a huge red flag. While Karm Bains went NPP, in 2018 he was appointed as a democrat to an Ag Commission by Jerry Brown.
That is kind of a Joe Biden look.
We’ve begun or discussion of Karm Bains with a very simple premise. He is a privileged son of a very wealthy and successful Peach Orchard Farmer. Karm’s father has spread his political donations around. Both Garamendhi and LaMalfa have received multiple checks from the Bains Largess.
When your intrepid blogger went looking for info, what I found is pretty typical for a rich kid (aka Silver Spooner):
6/16/1994 Driving under the influence of alcohol with a prior Misdemeanor Dismissed
Driving under the influence of alcohol Misdemeanor Dismissed

6/30/2001 Driving under the influence of alcohol with a prior Misdemeanor Dismiss ed
Driving under the influence of alcohol Misdemeanor No contest
Sentence enhancement for over .15 BAC; Enhancement No contest
Driving a commercial vehicle under the influence of alcohol; Misdemeanor Dismissed
Violation of probation Misdemeanor Admitted violation of probation
Violation of probation Misdemeanor Admitted violation of probation
10/19/2001 Driving with suspended/revoked license for refusing chemical test Misdemeanor No contest
1/22/2002 Breach of Contract/Warranty Civil Settled
7/22/2002 Small Claims > 12 Claims Filed Civil
I can relate to this background. It looks like Karm Bains may be an alcoholic. I sure hope he is sober. The irony is that my last drink was in late 2002 so I can relate to this on several levels.
So I’d ask Mr. Bains the questions:
Do you still drink?
What did you learn from your three Alcohol Related Arrests?
Why did you get sued so many times?
What have you been doing differently in life now to not get sued anymore?
Then I’d ask Doug LaMalfa and Jim Nielsen if they did any due diligence or if their endorsement was a return of loyalty to a donor? (There is nothing illegal about that by the way)
It really did not take me that long to find Mr. Bains getting in all kinds of trouble even recently, thus causing your intrepid blogger to have a lot of questions about who this man is and if we can trust him to be a stable leader for Sutter County. We’ve already established that Karm Bains is anything but a conservative.
Given his past history – can we trust Karm Bains to support law enforcement? What would Karm Bains do if ANTIFA came calling in Yuba City?
IT does not sound like enough people are asking enough questions. More coming soon about the privileged son looking for a coronation in Sutter County.
with a violations that I’ve seen in the lawsuits and the alcohol related incidences in my opinion has no business in public office
From what I read the last thing you have found is
18 years ago. I wonder when does past sins be
Forgiven?
