It is no secret that Tom, George and I have been at odds with team LaMalfa / Nielsen for years.

Linked here is the post from Last Week about how over half of Jim Nielsen and Doug LaMalfa’s staff were slated to serve as delegates / alternates to the April 2011 CRA Convention.

This weekend, on 7/23 there is going to be a reckoning for some of the Units that Team LaMalfa / Nielsen control as well as a few individuals in their operation. The CRA is cleaning house.

Fairly or unfairly – Tom, George and I are the lightening rods. We’re referred to as the “Boys From Placer” or the “Placer Cabal” etc. I believe that perception, basically created once again by Karen England and her allies in the CRA has also substantially contributed to the vitreol that has beset the Placer GOP.

For years in the CRA as well, George and I have especially dealt with people we had never met whose negative perceptions of us had been formed largely by input to said people from Karen. It is not difficult to ascertain as most were saying the same negative things about us that are simply not true.

Once the muzzle is lifted – I will be going in to graphic detail about the abuse of the CRA and the role of all the players who committed said abuse.

Lisa Buescher and Mark Spannagel both currently work for Doug LaMalfa. They worked for Tom McClintock in the past and Mark Spannagel was deeply involved in the McClintock general election campaign in 2008.

Mark Spannagel did not work for Tom McClintock in the primary as Doug LaMalfa chose to endorse the Moderate, Doug Ose over Tom McClintock.

I have been told by several, none of whom are willing to go on the record that Karen England, Mark Spannagel and Lisa Buescher all attempted to get a job with McClintock.

None of them were hired.

The anonymous blog comment that the FPPC complaint is based on may well have been written by any one of the above three. It wouldn’t be the first time a jilted job applicant tried to get even.

It is also my belief that one of the above three are also leaving anonymous blog comments on Ken Campbell’s neurotic rants on the Red County Blog to inflame the situation, as well as on the Auburn Journal’s many columns / stories about the Placer GOP Central Cent Com.

You can click here to see what LaMalfa’s public attacks and all the innuendo are all about – an anonymous blog comment. That blog comment was an attack against McClintock and was morphed in to an FPPC complaint by someone who hid their identity.

I am struggling to accept this new-found effort to make peace given the grotesque history that has occurred over the years.

In addition, the massive fraud that had beset the CRA since about 2007 is also a major factor – the exposure of such is going to embarrass a lot of people.
