Remember – Mass Immigration is something the left will fight to the death for. It is their #1 Voter Registration Program. The Media is on war footing and is playing the race card all the way to the bitter end to try and halt anything resembling immigration controls. Europe is a mess and everyone knows it.

83. CNN and New York Times Lie About Trump Claiming Sweden Was Hit With Terror Attack

During his rally in Florida Friday night, Trump said the following:

Here’s the bottom line, we’ve got to keep our country safe. You look at what’s happening. We’ve got to keep our country safe. You look at what’s happening in Germany. You look at what’s happening last night in Sweden. Sweden! Who would believe this? Sweden! They took in large numbers, they’re having problems like they never thought possible. [emphasis mine]

From that, among many others, some members of our lying MSM, like Maggie Haberman of The New York Times, falsely claimed that Trump lied about a terror attack in Sweden “last night.”

‘Sweden, who would believe this?’: Trump cites non-existent terror attack

At Florida rally president refers to attack in Sweden that did not happen, possibly confusing it with Sehwan in Pakistan

Here is video of a CNN chyron lying about it:

While there is no question that what Trump said was confusing, to jump to the conclusion that he was trying to lie about a non-existent terror attack is beyond outrageous and yet another example of “the enemy of the American people” deliberately using confusion to spread lies and Fake News.

Trump later explained that his “last night” reference pertained to a segment about Sweden immigration problems that aired on Fox News. Everyone knew this, but CNN and Haberman and the rest pretended not to.

84. MSM Lies About Sweden NOT Having a Massive Migrant Problem

After the MSM was busted lying about the above terror attack, they changed tactics and accused Trump of lying about Sweden having a migrant problem.

Trump is 100% correct about Sweden’s migrant problems.

The problems over there are massive.

89. Washington Post Misleads About ICE Detaining Woman Seeking Protection from Domestic Abuse

This Washington Post headline is all about ginning up hate against TrumpHitler:

‘This is really unprecedented’: ICE detains woman seeking domestic abuse protection at Texas courthouse

Here’s the truth about this dangerous and criminal illegal alien — which is buried by WaPo under nearly 17 paragraphs of sophistry:

According to the affidavit, I.E.G. has a criminal and immigration history that dates back to 2010 and includes numerous deportations and arrests for assault, violating probation, domestic violence, false imprisonment and possession of stolen mail.

Buh-bye!

93. AP Lies About Trump Using 100K National Guard Troops to Round Up Illegals

Truly, truly the height of Fake News.

Naturally, liars like CBS News, ABC News, The Los Angeles Times and The Washington Post ran like crazy with this bald-faced lie.

100. Media Lies About Trump’s Refugee Pause Ensnaring American-born Olympian

Washington Examiner:

The problem with this particular news cycle is that Muhammad was detained in 2016, weeks before Trump had even been sworn in as America’s 45th president.

Whoops.

113. Media Freaks Over Trump ICE Raids … Planned Before Trump’s Executive Order

For nearly two days, the MSM completely over-hyped ICE (doing its normal job) as some sort of souped-up Nazification of Trump’s America.

There are more here on the Daily Caller. Just WOW.

Politifact is another fraudulent fact-checking website and they laid several eggs recently:

85. PolitiFact Anti-Trump Lie #1!

The Left-wing Lie Machine known as PolitiFact falsely claimed that Trump took Thomas Jefferson out of context when he recited Jefferson’s quote about the awfulness of the media. PowerLine explains:

Those statements, while certainly more pro-newspaper, are not a “different opinion” from Jefferson’s judgment twenty years later that “Nothing can now be believed which is seen in a newspaper.” And, in any event, Jefferson’s saying something different on another occasion does not render Trump’s quotation “out of context,” misleading, or in any way inappropriate.

86. PolitiFact Anti-Trump Lie #2!

PolitiFact claims Trump lied about saving the F-35 contract with Lockheed Martin. As PowerLine explains, it is PolitiFact that is lying, not Trump…

So Lockheed Martin agrees with Trump. Politifact argues that the savings were already in the pipeline, and that per-aircraft costs would be expected to decline as production ramps up, which may be part of what is going on here. So they argue that Trump shouldn’t really get all the credit. Fine. That is the Democratic Party’s perspective. But to say Trump is “mostly false” when he precisely echoes Lockheed Martin’s account is ridiculous.

87. PolitiFact Anti-Trump Lie #3!

PolitiFact called Trump a liar over his 100% true claim that polls show an increase in optimism since his election win. In order to declare Trump a liar, PolitiFact points to polls that… have… nothing.. to… do… with… optimism. PowerLine again:

So what? Those polls don’t contradict Trump’s statement about optimism. Again, Policifact simply presents the Democratic Party’s contrary perspective–one could say, the Democrats’ alternative facts–to conclude that Trump is “spinning.” Here, Trump told the truth, and Politifact spun.

88. PolitiFact Anti-Trump Lie #4!

PolitiFact calls Trump a liar for saying (truthfully) that his administration’s refugee pause targets “countries picked by Obama.” In order to declare Trump a liar, PolitiFact says that Trump went further than Obama in instituting the pause. The indispensible PowerLine again:

But no one said that Trump’s order was the same as one already promulgated by Obama. That would really be a scoop! Of course Trump’s order went farther; that was the point. All Trump said was that the seven countries covered by his order were “picked by Obama” as “countries of concern.” Which is true.

There is a reason I refer to the media as whores. Part 7 comes tomorrow.

This is continued from yesterday – for the latest complete listing of blatant and outright lies from the MSM, visit the Daily Wire and keep it tuned in here.

56. Washington Post Caught Lying About Trump Threat to ‘Invade Mexico’

P.S. Portraying Trump as an unstable leader eager to go to war and threaten other countries, is all part of the media’s ongoing “assassination dogwhistle” campaign.

58. Media Caught Lying About GOP Expanding Gun Access to Mentally Ill

Although the story spread far and wide across the MSM landscape, it was a flat-out lie.

59. Media Runs With Lie About Trump’s SCOTUS Nominee Founding “Fascism Forever” Club

This has to be read to be believed.

60. Journalist Lies About ‘Forced Resignations’ at Secret Service

Never happened.

61. NBC News Lies About Milo Plan to Out Berkeley Illegals

This…

is a lie.

62. Media Spreads Lie About Trump Changing the Name of Black History Month

The lie ran around the world

…before the truth could get its shoes on.

70. Politico, New York Times Lie About Trump Nominee Foreclosing on 90-Year-Old Woman

The Federalist:

At Politico on December 1, Lorraine Wellert published a shocking essay claiming that Trump’s pick for secretary of the Treasury, Steve Mnuchin, had overseen a company that “foreclosed on a 90-year-old woman after a 27-cent payment error.” According to Wellert: “After confusion over insurance coverage, a OneWest subsidiary sent [Ossie] Lofton a bill for $423.30. She sent a check for $423. The bank sent another bill, for 30 cents. Lofton, 90, sent a check for three cents. In November 2014, the bank foreclosed.”

The story received widespread coverage, being shared nearly 17,000 times on Facebook. The New York Times’s Steven Rattner shared it on Twitter (1,300 retweets), as did NBC News’s Brad Jaffy (1,200 retweets), the AP’s David Beard (1,900 retweets) and many others.

The problem? The central scandalous claims of Wellert’s article were simply untrue.

71. CNN, Daily Beast Lie About Betsy DeVos, Guns and Grizzlies

The Federalist:

During her confirmation hearing, education secretary nominee Betsy DeVos was asked whether schools should be able to have guns on their campuses. As NBC News reported, DeVos felt it was “best left to locales and states to decide.” She pointed out that one school in Wyoming had a fence around it to protect the students from wildlife. “I would imagine,” she said, “that there’s probably a gun in the school to protect from potential grizzlies.”

This was an utterly noncontroversial stance to take. DeVos was simply pointing out that different states and localities have different needs, and attempting to mandate a nationwide one-size-fits-all policy for every American school is imprudent.

How did the media run with it? By lying through their teeth. “Betsy DeVos Says Guns Should Be Allowed in Schools. They Might Be Needed to Shoot Grizzlies” (Slate). “Betsy DeVos: Schools May Need Guns to Fight Off Bears” (The Daily Beast). “Citing grizzlies, education nominee says states should determine school gun policies” (CNN)[.]

74. NBC’s “Today Show” Deceptively Edits Giuliani Comments on Trump’s Immigration Pause

NewsBusters busts NBC’s serial liar (see above) Pete Alexander:

Despite all of the media hand-wringing over fake news lately, on Monday, NBC’s Today engaged precisely in that kind of shoddy journalism as the morning show deceptively edited a soundbite from Rudy Giuliani about President Trump’s immigration order. …

A brief clip ran of the former New York City mayor telling Fox News host Jeanne Pirro on Saturday: “When he first announced it, he said Muslim ban. He called me up, he said put a commission together, show me the right way to do it legally.”

However, a longer clip of Giuliani aired just minutes earlier on MSNBC’s Morning Joe clearly showed there was no contradiction, as he repeatedly stated that the policy he helped develop was “not based on religion[.]”

Reminder: This is the very same “Today Show” that was caught editing a 911 call to make George Zimmerman look like a racist.

Extraordinary, bare-faced lie.

Below is a sample, I am going to have to break this in to two posts: The editors at the Daily Wire are working over time I am sure.

39. Washington Post Caught Covering Up Boston Mosque’s Extremism and Bigotry

The original Jan 19 story ran with the headline, “An unlikely messenger becomes a guiding spirit to young Muslims,” and painted a picture of a cool social media-savvy Imam :

Naturally, jihadist hard-liners hate Webb for his liberal views. In its online magazine, Dabiq, the Islamic State last year labeled him an apostate and “all-American imam.” The story ran with a photo of a machete pressed to a man’s neck and, beneath it, a caption reading, “The punishment for apostasy.” The story said of Webb, “Adopting a Southern inner-city accent sprinkled with thug life vocabulary, he is quick to switch to an ordinary voice when speaking to CNN and other media outlets.”

At the Church of the Epiphany in October, Webb’s subject is Donald Trump. “We’ve got a presidential candidate who has no respect for women, for Latinos, for Muslims, for blacks,” he says. “This is a guy who doesn’t know how to wear a suit properly and has a bad spray tan.”

Except, oops!

We do not merely “allege” Webb’s bigotry. We have proved it. Videos of sermons we uncovered show Webb preaching that “effeminate” men are “cursed” and that he “understands” Muslims who “have animosity” toward “the Jews.”

In 2001, according to FBI surveillance documents, Webb appeared alongside al-Qaeda operative Anwar al-Awlaki to raise £$100,000 for Jamil Abdullah al-Amin, who was convicted of shooting two U.S. police officers and killing one of them.

And if all this were not enough to discourage a puff piece, Webb also spent three years as the imam of the Islamic Society of Boston. There he was involved with the tarbiya program, an educational course in which radical Islamist texts are taught to youths from Boston’s historically moderate Muslim community.

And #39 is a disturbing beginning to an increasing trend of the mainstream media abandoning truth in order to “get” Trump, Conservatives and anyone else they think is an enemy of progressiveness.

46. Washington Post Walks Back False Story of Bannon Confrontation

Josh Rogin of the Washington Post, who has been caught publishing three massive Fake News stories in less than 10 days, lied about a confrontation between top Trump aide Steve Bannon and Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly.

It never happened. As of today this phony story, which should be retracted, has three corrections and has gone through a complete rewrite.

48. CBS News Falsely Claims Statue of Liberty Was Originally Intended to be a Muslim Woman

Uhm, no it wasn’t.

In fact, the Statue of Liberty has nothing to do with immigrants or immigration. It stands for LIBERTY. Period.

The “give us your poor…” stuff was added years later.

49. NBC News Lies About Trump Easing Russian Sanctions

This is a howler.

NBC reported Thursday that the Trump administration was easing sanctions on the FSB, one of Russia’s primary intelligence agencies. Peter Alexander, NBC’s national correspondent, tweeted, “US Treasury Dept easing Obama admin sanctions to allow companies to do transactions with Russia’s FSB, successor org to KGB.”

Less than an hour later, he wrote, “Source familiar w sanctions says it’s a technical fix, planned under Obama, to avoid unintended consequences of cybersanctions.” His initial and incorrect tweet received nearly seven thousand retweets and the correction has less than 300 retweets.

Nevermind!

50. New York Times Lies About Homeland Security Being Blindsided By Trump’s Refugee Pause

Daily Caller:

It stated: “Gen. John F. Kelly, the secretary of homeland security, had dialed in from a Coast Guard plane as he headed back to Washington from Miami. Along with other top officials, he needed guidance from the White House, which had not asked his department for a legal review of the order. Halfway into the briefing, someone on the call looked up at a television in his office. ‘The president is signing the executive order that we’re discussing,’ the official said, stunned.”

Secretary Kelly, however, later strongly denied this report during a press conference Tuesday. “We knew it was coming. It wasn’t a surprise,” Kelly said.

For grins – here are a few more:

51. Bitter Wall Street Journal Never-Trumper Forgets About Barry

Apparently Bret Stephens, a bitter Never Trumper with the Wall Street Journal, forgot about 8 years of Barack Obama.

52. Boston Globe Caught Lying About Trump Comments On the Media

The left-wing Boston Globe claimed Trump remarked on “the press not behaving.”

Trump never said that.

53. Politico Caught Lying About Trump “Highlighting” Religious Freedom

Read the whole thing.

Donald Trump has the entire media establishment on pins and needles. In a few hours, the next installment of fake news will post.

Feb 092017

Divided America? How is that possible when 84% of people polled see Donald Trump as legitimate. This is the same 84% that felt the same about Obama.

As the truth comes out about how the riots are being organized and who is funding them, it has become clear that the left is using the Chariman Mao, Saul Alinsky, Nazi tactics of trying to bully the majority in to inaction.

They are freaked out that Socialized Medicine, the education system that brainwashes children and other bastions of Socialism will be decimated and degraded in the administration of the Usurper.

The opposition to Betsy DeVos was 100% about the Teacher’s Union and the virulent opposition to anything that forces them to compete on a level playing field with Charter Schools or Private Schools.

While the US Media continue to prostitute themselves with their cameras willfully attempting to create a false illusion of division as they cover protest after protest – they are also doing their part with an avalanche of “stories” that are systematically being shredded as outright lies.

This time, the Federalist joins the Daily Caller on the hit parade:

January 31: The Big Travel Ban Lie

On January 31, a Fox affiliate station out of Detroit reported that “A local business owner who flew to Iraq to bring his mother back home to the US for medical treatment said she was blocked from returning home under President Trump’s ban on immigration and travel from seven predominately Muslim nations. He said that while she was waiting for approval to fly home, she died from an illness.”

Like most other sensational news incidents, this one took off, big-time: it was shared countless times on Facebook, not just from the original article itself (123,000 shares) but via secondary reporting outlets such as the Huffington Post (nearly 9,000 shares). Credulous reporters and media personalities shared the story on Twitter to the tune of thousands and thousands of retweets, including: Christopher Hooks, Gideon Resnick, Daniel Dale, Sarah Silverman, Blake Hounshell, Brian Beutler, Garance Franke-Ruta, Keith Olbermann (he got 3,600 retweets on that one!), Matthew Yglesias, and Farhad Manjoo.

The story spread so far because it gratified all the biases of the liberal media elite: it proved that Trump’s “Muslim ban” was an evil, racist Hitler-esque mother-killer of an executive order.

There was just one problem: it was a lie. The man had lied about when his mother died. The Fox affiliate hadn’t bothered to do the necessary research to confirm or disprove the man’s account. The news station quietly corrected the story after giving rise to such wild, industrial-scale hysteria.

February 1: POTUS Threatens to Invade Mexico

On February 1, Yahoo News published an Associated Press report about a phone call President Trump shared with Mexican president Enrique Pena Nieto. The report strongly implied that President Trump was considering “send[ing] U.S. troops” to curb Mexico’s “bad hombre” problem, although it acknowledged that the Mexican government disagreed with that interpretation. The White House later re-affirmed that Trump did not have any plan to “invade Mexico.”

Nevertheless, Jon Passantino, the deputy news director of BuzzFeed, shared this story on Twitter with the exclamation “WOW.” He was retweeted 2,700 times. Jon Favreau, a former speechwriter for Barack Obama, also shared the story, declaring: “I’m sorry, did our president just threaten to invade Mexico today??” Favreau was retweeted more than 8,000 times.

Meanwhile, the Yahoo News AP post was shared more than 17,000 times on Facebook; Time’s post of the misleading report was shared more than 66,000 times; ABC News posted the story and it was shared more than 20,000 times. On Twitter, the report—with the false implication that Trump’s comment was serious—was shared by media types such as ThinkProgress’s Judd Legum, the BBC’s Anthony Lurcher, Vox’s Matt Yglesias, Politico’s Shane Goldmacher, comedian Michael Ian Black, and many others.

February 2: Easing the Russian Sanctions

Last week, NBC News national correspondent Peter Alexander tweeted out the following: “BREAKING: US Treasury Dept easing Obama admin sanctions to allow companies to do transactions with Russia’s FSB, successor org to KGB.” His tweet immediately went viral, as it implied that the Trump administration was cozying up to Russia.

A short while later, Alexander posted another tweet: “Source familiar [with] sanctions says it’s a technical fix, planned under Obama, to avoid unintended consequences of cybersanctions.” As of this writing, Alexander’s fake news tweet has approximately 6,500 retweets; his clarifying tweet has fewer than 250.

At CNBC, Jacob Pramuk styled the change this way: “Trump administration modifies sanctions against Russian intelligence service.” The article makes it clear that, per Alexander’s source, “the change was a technical fix that was planned under Obama.” Nonetheless, the impetus was placed on the Trump adminsitration. CBS News wrote the story up in the same way. So did the New York Daily News.

In the end, unable to pin this (rather unremarkable) policy tweak on the Trump administration, the media have mostly moved on. As the Chicago Tribune put it, the whole affair was yet again an example of how “in the hyperactive Age of Trump, something that initially appeared to be a major change in policy turned into a nothing-burger.”

February 2: Renaming Black History Month

At the start of February, which is Black History Month in the United States, Trump proclaimed the month “National African American History Month.” Many outlets tried to spin the story in a bizarre way: TMZ claimed that a “senior administration official” said that Trump believed the term “black” to be outdated. “Every U.S. president since 1976 has designated February as Black History Month,” wrote TMZ. BET wrote the same thing.

The problem? It’s just not true. President Obama, for example, declared February “National African American History Month” as well. TMZ quickly updated their piece to fix their embarrassing error.

February 2: The House of Representatives’ Gun Control Measures

On February 2, the Associated Press touched off a political and media firestorm by tweeting: “BREAKING: House votes to roll back Obama rule on background checks for gun ownership.” The AP was retweeted a staggering 12,000 times.

The headlines that followed were legion: “House votes to rescind Obama gun background check rule” (Kyle Cheney, Politico); “House GOP aims to scrap Obama rule on gun background checks” (CNBC); “House scraps background check regulation” (Yahoo News); “House rolls back Obama gun background check rule” (CNN); “House votes to roll back Obama rule on background checks for gun ownership” (Washington Post).

Some headlines were more specific about the actual House vote but no less misleading; “House votes to end rule that prevents people with mental illness from buying guns” (the Independent); “Congress ends background checks for some gun buyers with mental illness” (the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette); “House Votes to Overturn Obama Rule Restricting Gun Sales to the Severely Mentally Ill” (NPR).

The hysteria was far-reaching and frenetic. As you might have guessed, all of it was baseless. The House was actually voting to repeal a narrowly tailored rule from the Obama era. This rule mandated that the names of certain individuals who receive Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income and who use a representative to help manage these benefits due to a mental impairment be forwarded to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System.

If that sounds confusing, it essentially means that if someone who receives SSDI or SSI needs a third party to manage these benefits due to some sort of mental handicap, then—under the Obama rule—they may have been barred from purchasing a firearm. (It is thus incredibly misleading to suggest that the rule applied in some specific way to the “severely mentally ill.”)

As National Review’s Charlie Cooke pointed out, the Obama rule was opposed by the American Association of People With Disabilities; the ACLU; the Arc of the United States; the Autistic Self-Advocacy Network; the Consortium of Citizens With Disabilities; the National Coalition of Mental Health Recovery; and many, many other disability advocacy organizations and networks.

The media hysteria surrounding the repeal of this rule—the wildly misleading and deceitful headlines, the confused outrage over a vote that nobody understood—was a public disservice.

As Cooke wrote: “It is a rare day indeed on which the NRA, the GOP, the ACLU, and America’s mental health groups find themselves in agreement on a question of public policy, but when it happens it should at the very least prompt Americans to ask, ‘Why?’ That so many mainstream outlets tried to cheat them of the opportunity does not bode well for the future.”
