Rodney Stanhope. The true Conservative for California Republican Party Vice Chairman.

His opponent, Harmeet Dhillon has been the subject of self-righteous attacks from naive tea party members – some of whom have even used un-vetted fraudulent info.

Here at www.rightondaily.com – we’ve vetted out info and over the next several days, you will be treated to an expose’ on why Rodney Stanhope would be a disaster for the California GOP should he get elected.

Were he to be elected California Republican Party Vice Chairman, it would cause a media circus and provide the state media with a nice distraction away from the corruption in Sacramento.

According to court documents, On or About August 25, 2007 Rodney Stanhope committed a violation of section 243.4(e)(1) of the California Penal Code. The complaint goes on to read” …. said defendant did willfully and unlawfully touch an intimate part of (name) against his/her will for the specific purpose of sexual arousal, sexual gratification or sexual abuse.

This is the code section for Domestic Battery – it appears from many accounts (including a comment on this blog) that Mr. Stanhope assaulted an EMT and a Cop outside of Cal Expo (a large swap meet).

While the sexual battery charge was dropped for the plea deal – other court records related to other cases show that Rodney was indeed aware of a sexual battery charge.

According to court documents, Rodney Stanhope pled no contest to a charge of Domestic Battery and was sentenced to 168 hours in jail + 3 Years of Probation.

Rodney is somewhat known for sleeping in a “tuff shed” every year to gather Toys for the Troop’s Kids. As you peruse the documents, you will discover that the County of Sacramento decided to allow his “Time Served” in the Tuff Shed to suffice for the seven days in jail as alternative sentencing.

Rodney has told several people that he has never served time in jail. While technically true, it is misleading – because he has been sentenced to jail.

I take note that those attacking Rodney’s opponent via email and US mail have all been women.

If they knew this I wonder if they would be out fighting for their “true conservative”?

Some are representing local Tea Parties – I wonder how the Tea Party would feel knowing that they were being associated with someone convicted of Domestic Violence?

Worse, what about the future of the California Republican Party and the embarrassment this would cause? The conviction was in 2008 – so it is very recent.
