Hispanic Leadership Fund Endorses Carly Fiorina
Fiorina Stands in Stark Contrast to 18 Years of Barbara Boxer’s Failures

Washington, D.C. October 18, 2010 – The Hispanic Leadership Fund issued a statement today from its President Mario H. Lopez commenting on its Political Action Committee endorsement of Carly Fiorina, who is running for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Barbara Boxer:

“Californians of all backgrounds have had enough of Barbara Boxer’s 18 years of failed policies as a Senator.  Boxer’s bitterly divisive brand of politics are a disservice to the people of California, and her support of backward economic policies have had devastating effects on job creation and economic opportunity throughout California and the nation.

“Latinos start small businesses at a rate three times that of the general population, and Barbara Boxer’s hostility to small and family-owned businesses hurts Californians in search of opportunity.  Boxer has shown a deep disdain for Latino workers, deriding them as ‘cheap foreign labor’ when she voted to kill immigration reform.  Boxer chooses radical ideology over the livelihood of people struggling to earn a piece of the American Dream—exemplified by her support of crippling regulations that have caused a crisis in California’s Central Valley.

“Carly Fiorina will take a fresh perspective to the Senate and will be a leader who supports job growth and will fight to reign in an out of control government that prevents people from making a better life for themselves.  Carly is someone who Californians can count on to vote for forward-thinking solutions that create opportunity and give Californians more control over their pocketbooks and their lives.  The Hispanic Leadership Fund’s Political Action Committee proudly stands with Carly Fiorina.”

Why is it that Boxer and Failure appear together in so many sentences?
