For those of you not aware – in 2018 the Democrat Party will accomplish another one of their social engineering goals. Electricity rates will basically double statewide as the State Changes to a 2 Tier Electrical Rating System.

I recently received a notice that my water rates are going up 16% and sewer rates 14% over the next two years. The notice was clear that the rate increase was due to state mandates.

This is the psychosis of Sacramento where tin-horn demagogues like Kevin De Leon (who has illegal alien family members here in California) and Ricardo Lara are in a pitched battle to see who can get the crown for the worst bill in State History passed.

Kevin De Leon has decided to go for broke with a bill mandating 100% Renewable Energy in California by 2050. Renewable energy is stuff like Solar and Wind Power. Solar Panels wear out in 5-10 years, Wind turbines break frequently (and GASP! kill birds) and both methods are subject to the weather. Note – Dams that let water run over turbines do not count.

CA residential electricity costs an average of 42.3% more per kWh than the national average. CA commercial rates are 51.8% higher.  For industrial use, CA electricity is an astonishing 93.6% higher than the national average (July, 2016). The difference is growing between CA and the national average.

Another thing that is absurdly expensive in California? Housing. Thanks to people like Victor Bekhet, Sierra Watch and others that file CEQA lawsuits to thwart development and of course the psychos in Sacramento, there is amazingly a housing crisis in California despite the mass exodus of people. California has 38% of the Welfare cases in America and apparently, the dependent class has nowhere to live. Read more here.

The 2017-18 Governor’s Budget detailed Brown’s intention of phasing out the Middle Class Scholarship program, which assists students who come from households with a combined income of $156,000 or less with 40 per cent of their tuition costs.

But not getting cut is the funding for illegal alien DREAMers. This is where the California Left is.

Paul Golaszewski, Principal Fiscal & Policy Analyst for the LAO, told Campus Reform that the DREAM Act is going to cost California taxpayers $88.6 million in fiscal year 2017/18.

The total savings from screwing the middle class citizens? $111 Million. Total.

The state is $2 Billion in the hole still. Read the article here.

The State of CA is taking steps to make sure all the regulations Donald Trump is rolling back get re-encoded in State Law. Apparently, those in Charge of California want to have over 50% of the welfare cases in this state.

Introduced into the California Senate by Senate leader Kevin de Leon and Henry Stern, SB 49 is designed to protect California if there are rollbacks of major federal environmental laws such as the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, the Endangered Species Act and the Safe Drinking Water Act by making current standards enforceable as baselines under state law.

Why am I not surprised to see Kevin De Leon as the author of this?

#RINOCARE #TRUMPCARE #RYANCARE, whatever you call it, you’ve seen the wailing and gnashing of teeth over it.

Let’s talk about why this Insurance Agent (Did you know that is my day job? www.parkfamilyinsurance.com) is a fan of this replacement bill.

All the tax increases are gone – a couple I highlight specifically later.

The devastating slash to Health Savings Accounts is gone, they will be restored to what they were before Obama’s back-door tax increase at the expense of the middle class occurred.

Subsidies are replaced with Refundable Tax Credits. The means testing for how much is based on your age. Gone is the carrot and stick of government picking winners. The Tax Credits will allow a whole bunch of people to write-off the cost of their premiums versus a select few getting welfare.

Obamacare included the following sinister provisions that are gone:

4% per year profit mandate on Insurance Carriers, with no limit on how much you could lose – imagine being prevented from reserving for really bad years? Obama mandated that evil insurance companies issue a dividend when they made more than 4%. This provision was the single biggest driver of the massive rate increases.

Expense ratio mandates on Health Insurance Carriers are gone. This means long waits on the phone for service could be a thing of the past as they will be able to properly staff again.

ACA dictated Territories to Health Insurance Carriers, forcing odd geographical groupings and resulting in circumstances where a move of 2 miles could cause dramatic premium increases.

ACA dictated the ENTIRE outline of coverage. While un-discerning people blamed Insurance carriers for massive deductibles and copays, it was ACA mandates not Insurance Carrier decisions.

ACA dictated that Insurance Premiums index every year versus in 5 or 10 year age groupings, and that rates could only be triple at 64 as what they were at age 18. This caused everyone under 40 to get hammered.

ACA Dictated that families get charged per child versus on a family rate. This sinister provision disporportionally affected married families (think Republicans) with more than 3 children, because…

Subsidies (think Premium welfare) were based on income and the caps for a married couple were only 125% higher than a single person. This was indeed a form of the Clinton-Era “Marriage Penalty” that was built in to the tax code. Therefore, ACA encouraged divorce in order for cash-strapped families to afford health insurance for large families.

ACA forced people of all ages to pay for maternity coverage…

… and everyone regardless of faith to pay for Abortion Coverage, Contraception and of course the all important Sex Change Operations at $500k a piece plus all the drugs that go along with it.

The chilling attack on Religious Freedom was litigated many times with the Obama Administration making extremely scary arguments in court against the First Amendment.

I am not a fan of the Refundable Tax Credits, but let me tell you that they are a far better way of helping people afford Health Insurance as they eliminate the carrot and stick and are calculated on your tax return, not by a liberal activist Social Justice Warrior.

Gone is the 3.5% Real Estate Transfer Tax that was a direct assault on inheritances, businesses and land owners.

Added is the flexibility for insurance carriers to offer varied outlines of coverage.

Gone is the deliberate flaw in ACA that allowed dishonest states like California to flaunt the paperwork, instead requiring real proof of Citizenship or legal alien status to get Tax Credits and also mandating a 6 month review in order to keep cases from getting buried. This provision is the single most important in the whole replacement bill.

I’ve talked to many conservative activists all over the state about the just concluded Central Committee Organizing Meetings. Now that I have had the time to process what happened, let RightonDaily share some inside info based on an amalgamation of what I know about the process used and the reasoning. Please note, I have off the record accounts from a variety of people. You can feel free to regard this as fake news if you like as I will not burn my sources.

It is my understanding that $1.7 Million Plus was spent in roughly 40 counties on mail and slate mail cards in order to influence the outcomes of Central Committee elections. GOP mega-donor Charles T Munger, Jr. largely financed the effort. This I did see on campaign finance filings.

Based on what I have read/seen, it appears that Mr. Munger and a group of smaller donors spent something like $10 million between them on a variety of causes and issues in 2016 alone out of the Spirit of Democracy PAC. This I did see on campaign filings.

There are handful of consultants on retainer at the behest of both Republican Leadership and his independent expenditure committee that give input in to decisions regarding spending. This of course allows those on the payroll to inject their own personal bias in to the recommendations. I only have circumstantial evidence and anonymous testimony from people to validate this claim.

In Butte County, the personal bias of a consultant was clear. The Chairman Mike Zuccolillo was singled out because the Butte GOP allowed a primary challenger to Doug LaMalfa to speak at an event. It got blown out of proportion, money flowed in and it culminated with a disastrous organizational meeting in December. Some people I consider friends ended up on the short end of the stick. Mike Zuccolillo was a well respected county chairman within the GOP. The nexus for this was basically one man that drew targets on a group of people he did not like in favor of legislative staff and the Congressman’s family. It is the opinion of this blogger that people in GOP leadership a hundred or more miles away did not have their own eyes on the ground and the decisions were made in a vacuum.

I feel for those on Butte, because at least when $100k was spent going after me (and others in Placer) in 2012, I had been paid by Andy Pugno in his attempt to unseat Beth Gaines. All Butte did was let Joe Montes speak! I earned the revenge of GOP Leadership because I actively attempted to (GASP!) take out a feckless loser of an incumbent. I do not regret that decision at all.

There were several other counties where money was spent and the nexus was not as clear as political consultant revenge. For example, the moribund Sacramento Central Committee was gutted. Good long time activists of all stripes were blown out in favor of legislative staff and political consultants.

The new chair is a donor. Despite having a 3-1 advantage in votes, the consultants and staffers that won election ran a brutal organizational meeting that was scripted and ended up being a 20 minute jam-down. This is never a smart thing to do when your majority is that large, just do a 2/3 vote to torch debate, don’t brow-beat people. Worse, they massacred stalwarts of the local GOP, as effective volunteers were annihilated along with the bad actors. It is the opinion of this blogger that if you have leadership that has lost their ability to lead, you confront them and give them a chance to resign before running them over with a steamroller. Roger Canfield, Carl Burton and others were discarded. You don’t strip people of their dignity after years of service.

In Riverside and LA County – several bad actors were wiped off of their Central Committees. The San Bernardino Central Committee was almost completely turned over. I don’t know all the players in those tilts, but I do know that the winners and losers were across ideological lines. One Assembly District Cent Com election in LA saw two guys I know to be psychos (both liked to launch anonymous internet attacks, one got a pot lawyer to sue the current Riverside GOP Chairman and lost badly) ousted from that Cent Com.

This is what I do believe: Republican Leadership are desperate to try to get a handle on the dysfunction in Central Committees, volunteer groups and the State Party. As such, they attempt to spend a lot of money to exert control over the process. They just so happen to have a mega-donor. People think it is Mr. Munger making the decisions on his own, no. People think Mr. Munger is targeting conservatives only, no. Don’t use Charles Munger as a straw man, he has a lot of money, but he is not a lone wolf.

I think the approach that was and has been used is wrong. However, seeing the behavior of the Tea Party Caucus and the CRA at the just concluded CRP Convention certainly validates the tact that the CA GOP leadership is taking. But, spending insane amounts of money in 40+ counties creates a permanent class of the aggrieved. Having a small group of people making decisions about party leadership only reinforces the stereotype about the GOP being the party of old, rich guys.

These people (the Tea Party Caucus and the CRA) opposed both the gay guys and the conservative guys from getting chartered. I watch them disrupt floor sessions, attack leadership on social media, blogs, emails, etc. It is the same concept as the content of this blog no one reads but everyone seems to know what’s on. There are consequences to throwing bombs! People want to “get” me all the time I guess the TPCC leadership and CRA get to join the club of targets.

They (the CRA and the Tea Party Caucus) are also fighting to keep the CA GOP tent small, a conclusion that is easy to draw from what they have been doing. It makes it really hard to be sympathetic to those guys when I hear stories from counties all over the north state about jam down leadership meetings. The Jam Downs are Wrong. The Disruption is wrong. No wonder why I can’t sort this mess out…

I am personally ideologically aligned with the Tea Party. Before an inmate uprising in the CRA Asylum, I was an officer of that group and was expelled for life for amongst other things not being Conservative enough. That is just insane, if I am a liberal than most Republicans are flaming communists.

The sad fact is that many in the GOP Tea Party Caucus desire ideological purity over everything, which is why they continue to fawn over proven frauds like Tim Donnelly. This sort of un-discerning and unstable behavior again validates repeatedly the purges brought by CA GOP leadership. They have got to stop making it so easy for establishment types to paint them as the crazies.

I have a lot of friends, who are really good people that also got purged. This is where the leadership are dead wrong. They were not doing their homework the way they should have been and were not out recruiting complete slates of candidates. In other cases, they filed seats with legislative staff who are beholden to their bosses and are not activists at all. As a result, you have some Central Committees that are a bizarre mix of people. This is the case in Placer where Chairman Dennis Revell won by one vote and the other officers, aligned against him all won by 1-3 votes. It is the opinion of this blogger that people whose paycheck comes from the Government as a public employee should not be allowed to serve on a County Party Committee regardless of how conservative they are or how much I like them personally.

I had gone in to the weekend of the CRP convinced that CA GOP leadership were completely wrong for intervening in Central Committee elections. I also thought the Elected leaders were mostly wrong. Then I saw Steve Frank, Thomas N Hudson and others in action and had in front of my face as another case study for why the “leadership” did what they did.

The lack of clarity is infuriating and is indeed a disaster in some areas and a definite gain in others for the future of the CA GOP. There are a lot of people to blame for it. There are a lot of people hurt by it. Meantime, the CAGOP is at 27% and sliding. From where I sit, there is a ton of blame to spread around.

I am tired of seeing people fight to be right. Why not put a sock in it, register some voters and win some elections? Then, maybe “Leadership” would not freak out and spend a ton of money? Maybe leadership should have some two-way communication with elements of the CA GOP they don’t now so well and maybe good people would not get purged?

Just one blogger and veteran of many unnecessary wars asking some questions here.

In Politics, there are two rules: Never ever admit fault ever and use Straw Men Frequently.

The Washington Post and the New York Times are on tilt. Never in their history have they been challenged in such a public and consistent way for their editorial bias. They have lost a ton of money as a result of the scrutiny. This is why the stories about the latest Russia angles almost always originate from either of these sources.

The issues are complex and layered. But the simple surface conclusion is three-fold. 1. The Democrats need a straw man to assuage their extremely and inexorably bruised egos. Russia hacked the election, this is why Hillary Clinton lost. This way they don’t have to face their corruption or the absolute rejection of their message nationally.

2. The NYT and the WaPo got burnt bad by the Wikileaks. They showed open collusion by multiple members of their staff with the Clinton Campaign. For them, they have to tar and feather Russia with the whole thing to deflect from the real story as it relates to them – they are not journalists, they are political campaign operatives and thus have no credibility.

3. Barack Hussein Obama is indeed a Narcissist. His patterns show it all. His unprecedented temper tantrum as he was leaving office showed that he was going to burn down as much as he could to complicate Donald Trump’s job. Secondly, everything he did in the waning days of his administration was about preserving his own legacy. Narcissists do not care about anyone or anything other than themselves. The proof is in the over 1,000 seats in the cradle of the cesspool of Government that the democrats lost during his reign, he continued on the destructive path without regard for the consequences. It will carry forward now.

Let’s develop those points as it appears that the democrat leadership is following this playbook of save Obama’s legacy and smear Russia.

Did Russia hack John Podesta’s Email leading to the revelations on Wikileaks? There are conflicting reports. Some intelligence officials say a flat no way. Even the New York Times when they dropped a coordinated attack piece talking about how the Obama admin “scrambled” to preserve hacking evidence could not prove that it happened. More basic is the fact that the democrats got caught with their real feelings about minority groups, the world and other things ripped wide open and they needed someone to blame in order to not have to deal with the exposure.

Other conspiracy theorists say that one of the 4 murdered dem activists in 2016, Seth Rich was the leak. Others show evidence that John Podesta’s own lacksadasical nature may have been the leak. The fact of the matter is, that the Russia did it lie was repeated millions of times by the democrats and their whores in the media to try to make it a reality. There is no proof of it, not even now.

The New York Times story reveals a few things that should scare us all.

Based on the Russia did it accusation, they started spying on the Trump Campaign.

The story indicates that the FBI, the Senate and the House have ongoing investigations dating back to last year.

The story indicates that calls between Russia and members of the US Senate and the US House were intercepted.

The story still can not prove Russian Hacking, or meddling.

That’s right, based on a need for a straw man, the Obama administration turned the spy agencies loose on the campaign of the nominee of the opposition party. In the desperation of the NYT to do the bidding of Obama, they just exposed that because the target was Atty General Jeff Sessions. The real story here is the spying on the Trump Campaign, that could land a lot of people in prison for a long time for the blatant abuse of power.

The media is going to attack Trump Cabinet Members as often as they can to try to get to Trump. Witness this story coming out about the Keystone XL pipeline as the Trump admin negotiates with TransCanada to get the project done. The left-wing conspiracy theorists are trying to assert that Wilbur Ross is responsible for a compromise on American Steel only being 75% of the project to benefit himself.

The New York Times hit piece also reveals that one of Obama’s final parting gifts was ordering the NSA to smear the Russia Investigation information far and wide. You would have to be part of the 30% of America that will never vote republican or deluded to not get why that was done. Perhaps the recent reports of Valerie Jarrett moving in to the Obama Mansion in DC show the pattern of Obama continuing to fight to save his own legacy.

More proof? The leaks coming out of Government in a clear attempt to undermine Trump, that seem to be abating as Obama holdovers are being purged. Given the number of leaks that were coming out of Government, you’d think that proof of Russian malfeasance would have come out! Given that fact that the crazed Nancy Pelosi, Keith Ellison and others are talking openly about impeachment, why wouldn’t deep cover Obama operatives serve them the evidence on a platter if it existed?

Saul Alinsky, who is cited by Obama as an inspiration stated in his book rules for radicals in so many words that in order to win you have to de-stabilize your opponent, dehumanize them and then cut them off. Saul Alinsky understood how normal politicians work.

When Donald Trump had an office full of Black Education leaders, what was the focus? Kellyanne Conway with her feet on a couch taking a picture.

They are attempting to de-legitimize Donald Trump, it is their only card. The latest example is the NYT story dropping a day after Donald Trump’s Epic Speech to Congress. Trump’s speech was so powerful that across political lines it was received well. The NYT and WaPo are full of Russia stories, almost as many as stories on public policy of other sorts! This is actually a good thing as Donald Trump is dismantling the Obama agenda while they are on an obsessive rampage to save their own reputations.

It was clear that the democrat leadership had foreknowledge of the NYT story coming out, similar to the 2016 campaign. The timing of the calls for Jeff Sessions to resign were too perfect.

Donald Trump is not George W Bush. Donald Trump fights back. This will make it impossible to cut him off, dehumanize him or cut him off. No more evident is Jeff Sessions himself lighting up Reporters and Donald Trump himself taking to his social media to troll Charles Schumer and Nancy Pelosi. The media and the democrat leadership are continuing to spiral and their tactics are being self revealed as Donald Trump is taking advantage of their narcissism and their sense of entitlement to light them on fire.

Meantime, Donald Trump plows forward with his agenda. The democrat resistance to the Cabinet Nominees is cracking. Wilbur Ross, Rick Perry, Ryan Zinke and Ben Carson were all approved by votes ranging from 72-27 to 58-41.

In addition, Senator Joe Manchin, a vulnerable democrat from West Virginia (won by Trump +42) is publicly expressing his frustrations over the Russia stuff. Manchin has voted for most all of Trump’s Cabinet Picks despite a determined effort from Dem leadership to “get” Trump. Manchin even got attacked by the Washington Post.

Just in the last few days while the media obsesses over Russia, the Obamacare repeal is taking shape, insane MPG Regulations on cars are being gutted, lead ammo ban gone, and extreme gun control regulations have been scrapped. All Donald Trump has to do for the first year of his Presidency is gut the regulations and regulatory agencies and the economy will explode.

The Media will not figure Trump out because they are constitutionally incapable of it. The democrat leadership can’t figure Donald Trump out, because to do so would mean coming face to face with their own failure. How sweet it is.

In politics, there are several metrics for making decisions: Character of a Candidate, Viability of a Candidate, Where they Stand on Issues and their Resume are basically the top four. When attempting to evaluate a “Influencer” in politics is a little more tricky, as vetting conflicts of interest that influence their opinion overshadow anything. I’ve seen an infestation, especially on the hard right of so-called conservatives that do not live like they say their values are.

Many years ago when I got sober, one of the most difficult things to deal with were my Conservative political leanings versus the out-of-control behavior that comes hand in glove with alcoholism. I am thankful that there is no longer that disconnect because when I first got involved in politics in 1997 I was still drinking.

It is my own sober experience and what I learned going through it that allows me to see many in the political game the way I see them. Politics attracts extreme people and is a complete hotbed of hypocrisy. Gheez, why is this Conservative drunk as a skunk at the Convention? How many girlfriends has this conservative leader had in the last year? (and the leader always has said girlfriend staying in their convention hotel room, too…)

I am not innocent. I am not a saint. What I am, however is a flawed messenger redeemed by the Grace of Jesus Christ and transformed by the 12 steps of AA. Without BOTH, I would not be here. I do not claim moral superiority over anyone, what I do claim is the right through experience to have an opinion and to state it clearly under my own name so I am also accountable for it.

What got me in to politics? I am pro-life. I believe abortion is Murder. It seemed completely absurd that a baby was being called a fetus and a lump of tissue. Even though it is very likely I will never have children of my own, I don’t need to experience fatherhood to know that “thing” is a human life. I can only justify abortion in the case of saving the mother’s life, and in the difficult circumstance of a sexual assault, I pray that the conceived child is carried to term and given to a family that wants to adopt. Despite my visceral reaction to the whole concept of abortion, I simply can not traumatize a sexual assault victim a second time by making that decision for her. The other 97% of Abortions are cut and dried, don’t do them, don’t fund them

I learned many years later that this concept of a fetus is part of a larger pattern by the left of de-humanizing their political opponents. Once a political opponent is dehumanized, you can justify anything in order to win.

Look at election fraud. Look at what the media did to Donald Trump. Look at the women that lied about him. Look at the paid riots. Look at the polls that were outright lies.

I believe that we as Conservative activists have a right to expect our representatives to be Conservatives in the way they live. If you call yourself a Christian / Conservative or both, then don’t cheat on your wife, smoke weed, get hammered, change girlfriends like shirts, lie, manipulate people, control people, act purely out of self interest, hide your conflicts of interest, live in grey areas to see how much you can get away with and/or refuse to be a team player. If you do these things, you will get your tail kicked by the Right On Daily Blog.

I am a hard core Social Conservative. I believe Homosexuality is morally wrong. My homosexual friends know it. They also know I love them and pray for them because God wants what is best for them too. The infuriating thing is that the left has successfully created an environment where religious freedom and sexual freedom (as morally aberrant as that is to me) can not co-exist. My attitude towards homosexuality is I will respect their sexual freedom and in return please respect my religious freedom. This concept is lost on courts and human rights commissions that zealously persecute Christians over acts of conscience. I absolutely oppose special status for anyone based on a sex act.

I had told the then President of the LCR that I would support the Charter of the Log Cabin Republicans. I had a personal crisis of conscience and could not cast the vote I promised, so I gave my proxy to someone who did.

I believe in keeping my word. You can’t fake integrity, either you have it or you don’t. I do not mince words on this blog, I do not hide under cover of anonymity either. This allows me to be able to correct the record when needed.

I am pro-gun. Short of denying gun purchases to felons or people proven to be psycho, there are really no restrictions on gun rights that I support. (Including magazines, types of weapons and the like) Gun Ownership = Freedom. Period.

I have a disdain for government. I see what it does to good people. I see the power of the bureaucracy and how it sucks people in that get vested in their office. This is why I am not tethered to any incumbents anywhere. I have been targeted for reprisals many times because of this, so be it. The RightonDaily Blog lives on and some of them are no longer in office. There are many departments in government that need to be abolished and still more scum-sucking denizens of government that need to be terminated from their employment for megalomania or just plain stupidity.

The State of CA is irreparably broken in my opinion and sometimes things have to be done within a broken system to maintain or improve our quality of life. For only the second time in my life, I supported tax increase measures on the ballot. Measure D and Measure M. It is not a foregone conclusion that I will support similar measures in the future – it was the circumstances and the construction of those measures that merited support. Infrastructure and development are a big deal to me.

I tell people that I am to the right of most tea party members. While I could go in depth on more issues, but you should get a general idea that I am easily aligned with Ted Cruz and lack the libertarian streak of Tom McClintock, who is regarded as a conservative standard-bearer in the local area (as I oppose legal Marijuana in any circumstance and do not support gambling in any circumstance).

I frequently break with conservative orthodoxy or tea party orthodoxy in candidate endorsements because I look at Character more heavily than any other metric. Secondly, I look at viability – gone are the days of supporting ideologically perfect candidates that end up getting slaughtered at the ballot box because of lack of resources, a lack of a plan to win, a lack of character or all of the above. Gone are the days of ignoring the personal behavior of so-called Conservatives. Here are the days of judging people on a balance of all factors.

Supporting losers won’t save any babies, defend religious freedom or keep government from running me out of business.

I did not support Donald Trump, because I believed him to be more liberal than any of the GOP candidates. When an opportunity came to work for Ben Carson, I jumped at it because of who Dr. Carson is. Working for Dr. Carson was an honor I will never forget. I supported Jeb Bush originally because of his stellar record of accomplishment in Florida and his anticipated support base, then Jeb Bush imploded as a candidate. Whoops.

Once Donald Trump won the primary, I moved on to him. This is what I do. My Republican is better than anything any other party offers.

As the Right on Daily Blog moves forward, please understand my paradigm as it will help make better sense of my approach.
