So far we’ve covered a dozen prominent current and former Republican leaders in my personal expose’. Too often, many of my Conservative friends get upset with me because I seem to care more about morality, personal behavior, ethics and integrity over some lexicon of issues. It is true. I will vote for an honest RINO-Squish before I support a promiscuous Conservative.

If you call yourself a Conservative, you are adopting a higher standard. This is why former Assemblymember Chuck DeVore’s reputation as a cheater is an issue. A democrat does it, it is expected. Don’t talk about family values when you wake up in another woman’s bed. It’s worse when (one of) your alleged girlfriend(s) worked for one of those “Family Values” groups. The Chuck DeVore I knew was an egomaniac, usually people like that feel entitled to other women.

But I never heard about DeVore’s office being a hotbed of harassment. I did however speak with two staffers, one who worked for a former Orange County legislator and one who used to work for a still current member. Both described to me the culture in the Sacramento Bubble and how they were objectified. The female staffers were encouraged to dress in clothing that accentuated their breasts and buttocks for example. Colors were suggested as well.

One of these women reached out to me while I was launching on Chad Mayes. Her warning was pointed, “these people think they are above the law”. They get away with stuff you would not believe. “Watch your back”. Maybe someday I will be able to go on the record with you when I have been out of there (Sacramento) a while. “You would not believe what I saw and I was there XX Years…”

She also warned me that the new regime (as in Brian Dahle) was no different than the old regime (Chad Mayes). I hope she is wrong.

I am also afraid what I will find out in detail when she is willing to go on the record with me.

I was also told about Tim Clark’s brief tenure in the building as well. It was characterized by him bragging openly about all the people he screwed over. While Clark was not dumb enough to objectify women according to the sources, he did routinely call them some ugly expletives. This same man, you guessed it, liked to play the faith card frequently. Clark is one of many that have been characterized by this description.

I heard recently that Mr. Clark is doing way better on a personal level now that he is in Washington D.C., I hope this is true, because his last 10 years in California were a disaster. I sincerely hope that Jesus has become king of his life again as for a while it seemed like money had taken him over (when he was not raging/deriding women).

Like Chuck Devore, I witnessed Tim Donnelly’s disaster of a Statewide Campaign. I have still not figured out what it is about so-called conservatives using their statewide campaigns as a dating service. I saw it with Ron Nehring, Tom Del Becarro, Peter Foy (allegedly), and those two. I have a ton of further evidence on Mr. Donnelly about his abhorrent personal behavior. Mr. Donnelly was always chaperoned by staff and I observed that clearly. I learned that the reason for this was his penchant for acting out. His personal behavior is a complete, glaring contrast to the so-called Christian Conservative he wants us all to believe he is. Some on the right are still mad at me for supporting Neel Kashkari – but Tim Donnelly should be institutionalized and not anywhere near office, ever.

Tim Donnelly is running for Congress again. If it is anything similar to the rip-off mission that was his SB277 referendum, you can make bank there will be more women and ripped off donors in his path.

I have to remind myself sometimes hour by hour why I am still a Republican. It is because of the values of the Republican Party, not because of the people.

No incumbent (in party office or elected office) ever deserves an automatic endorsement or re-election. They must earn it and until these people are made to fear the consequences of their misdeeds, there is little, if any deterrent to this out of control behavior. There is an election cycle upon us, I am sure I will be adding more names and details to this series when I pick it up later…

Donnelly-LogoI have written ad naseum about Tim Donnelly. He is a fraud. I have made a clear case to prove it. He makes conservatives look like frauds. I have been pretty clear about my disdain for a lot of conservative frauds in office – but Donnelly is in a league of his own.

In my opinion, Donnelly should be in jail for fraud along with Lauren Stephens, his pet Chiahuahua who is also running for Fresno County Supervisor.

In 2013 – Sharon Gilbert of the Examiner sounded the alarm about Tim Donnelly’s plans. She wrote clearly about a contemptible man she knew well:

Donnelly was telling people to vote for Paul Cook, not Gregg Imus. For many, that was perplexing. For those in the know, it was not surprising.

Donnelly’s rationale was simple. He did not like Cook as Cook was a moderate Republican and could walk across the aisle to cut a deal, something Donnelly was incapable of doing. But Cook was also up there in age and has had serious health issues. The thought was that Cook would be in Congress less than ten years and likely only three terms. At the end of three terms, if not sooner, Donnelly could pick off Cook.

Donnelly’s goal was, and is, to be the next CD8 representative. The voters of CD8 are conservative enough to elect a Tim Donnelly as their representative.

I believed Sharon then and Tim Donnelly’s disaster of a guv campaign made it clear that Gilbert had nailed his agenda.

Donnelly is a disaster personally. He owes a ton of people money and had to try to raise a few bucks as his radio show was not cutting the mustard. Lauren Stephens and Tim Donnelly hatched a plan to try a referendum against SB277 – the third referendum Tim Donnelly was involved in.

I wrote about the SB277 “effort” a few times. The bottom line – I believe that Tim Donnelly ripped donors off for as much as $70k. The reports from the effort made it clear that Donnelly did indeed rake in $25k for his radio show, but there was a lot more money unaccounted for. Read More about the SB277 Referendum Scam here and Read more about the SB277 Referendum Scam here.

Sharon Gilbert’s Second Post in 2013 (after former Donnelly Chief of Staff Gregg Imus was defeated for Congress by Paul Cook) was a brutal expose’ of several things I would learn about Tim Donnelly over the last three years both factually and via anecdotal evidence:

The next time Tim is in a public forum, here are some questions to ask him (and demand full answers):

  1. Why were you in possession of an illegal firearm in an airport?

  2. Are you allowed to legally register firearms in your name now? Is that a term of probation or are their other reasons? What are those reasons?

  3. Prior to the airport incident, why were you not allowed to have a firearm registered in your name?

  4. How many bankruptcies have you filed, either as an individual or as part of a company or partnership?

  5. How many properties did you or do you own that have gone into foreclosure? In what states?

  6. Have you been convicted of a felony?

  7. Have you been taken into protective custody for being a danger to yourself or to others? Have you been subjected to a 72-hour mental health hold?

  8. What is the story with the strippers? How much debt do you have due to your sexual addiction?

  9. Why did you refuse to endorse Gregg Imus for Congress?

  10. Why did you provide the photo of the Imus house in Maine to the Paul Cook campaign?

  11. What other information about Imus did you (or your wife or thru a friend) did you provide to the Cook campaign?

  12. Why did you privately tell some of your supporters to vote for Paul Cook?

  13. When you were at the border, did you ever make racist or threatening remarks?

  14. When you were at the border, were you ever in possession of a weapon you could not legally possess.

  15. Have you ever been declined to buy a firearm by a licensed Federal Firearms dealer? When (month and year)?

I personally asked Tim Donnelly if he had a police record, knowing that he had been arrested for a felony in Michigan that he plead down to a misdemeanor. He bald-faced lied to me about having any sort of police record. The media found the misdemeanor during his guv run, but never followed up to find out the rest of the story.

I am also familiar with Tim Donnelly’s personal life, including his habits and his massive personal debt. I only have stories from several people, one of whose businesses failed due in part to Donnelly’s actions. Given that Donnelly lied to me about his police record, and his bizarre personal behavior – I am inclined to believe the stories.

After seeing the scam he ran that screwed the mothers of California out of their chance to overturn the police-state vaccination law, nothing I hear about Donnelly surprises me.

It is my understanding that Paul Cook will demolish Tim Donnelly at the ballot box. Tim Donnelly belongs in an institution, not in any other office. Please, voters of CD08, make him go away.

Lauren Stephens by her own admission started the SB277 recall and then recruited Tim Donnelly to head it because she believed that the more legitimate, mainstream effort was to cover Senator Andy Vidak.

Lauren hates Vidak. She hates Scott Walker. She ran for Congress in 2012 against a Republican incumbent and mustered 17% of the vote. She should join CRA, she’d fit in well.

The problem is that Lauren is not a registered Republican anymore. Many of her friends on the fringes of the tea party, have left the GOP. Yet, most still try to meddle in the GOP.

About a week ago, it became clear, even to Lauren that the SB277 referendum effort was terminally doomed. So, she bailed out and left Tim Donnelly holding the bag. Tim Donnelly had ostensibly joined the effort to promote his radio show. Most of the event flyers I got for organizing rallies looked like Tim Donnelly Radio Show events.

It looks like the Tim Donnelly – Lauren Stephens mutually parasitical relationship ran its’ course when there was no more money to be made.

Some honest people are trying to salvage the effort – despite Tim Donnelly’s narcissism. Donnelly is fond of telling donors he is the most hated man in the legislature – yet is too clueless to realize that is tantamount to advertising, “I am a loner and I have no friends”, to donors who close their checkbooks and exit.

I have zero confidence that Donnelly will get out of the way. My intel says that Donnelly has run off dozens of would-be high-dollar donors to the effort.

The volunteers have gathered some signatures, but no one will ever know how many as Lauren Stephens was controlling everything in the campaign until she bailed out and left Tim Donnelly holding the bag. Stephens is reputed to have all the filled out petitions and is reputed to be refusing to share them with Donnelly.

Basically, the SB277 referendum was a sham, it has to have been. But, we told you so on this blog from the outset and despite the threats to me personally and to my business, it has played out.

At least one other person appears to be a victim in this caper – Mike L. from Santa Cruz. Mike was pictured with the boxes of petitions that were actually printed. Mike was distributing them. Has Mike been paid? I bet not.

How much money was raised? What was done with it – other than the pathetic print job of 100k petitions (if indeed that many were printed)? Maybe the FPPC should look in to this?

It doesn’t stop there – Lauren Stephens has reinvented herself. She is back to the SB277 Recalls.

Senator Jeff Stone was served two weeks ago. Senator Richard Pan (who is actually a democrat for a change) was served.

There is an effort being leveled against Assembly-member Catharine Baker and Senator Andy Vidak. This is insane.

It makes perfect sense that a group of so-called conservatives would target vulnerable republicans in seats that are swing districts (or worse in Vidak’s case) .

I leave you with this thought from a national columnist about the impetus behind Donald Trump’s early success, because the behavior is on display with the anarchists that are seeking to help the dems regain their super-majorities:

…. But instead of the far left or the far right, he (Trump) speaks for the sarcastic hate-tweeters, the anti-everything nihilists and the conspiracy theorists who write convoluted, anonymous comments at the bottom of news articles. He’s simply taken their outraged feelings out of cyberspace and translated them into real life.

Coming soon to your district, a nihilistic void.

How many of you remember Prince Potemkin’s deception of Catherine the Great? The prince knew his fiefdom was a disaster. He set up an elaborate ruse to fool the Czar in to thinking everything was ok.

Potemkin staged a series of displays (think 1700’s here) in order to give the appearance that his fiefdom was the best in the Russian Empire.

Facebook allows people to do similar things – used effectively, it can project an image. However, in the world of politics, observers are used to being deceived, lied to, snowed, fed straw-men and otherwise spun.

This means then that smart political operatives are cynical and observant. The really smart operatives also understand that most people want to avoid conflict and would rather do nothing than act – especially in the face of controversy.

The combination of the two mean that effective political operatives who are personally corrupt, or are clinical are extremely deadly because few if anyone will stand up to them.

This is why scams are common in politics.

Some screenshots that made their way to me included some nuggets about the voracity of the SB277 campaign.

I also know that the proponents are responding to this blog in real time.

I also know that they have little or no resources and are counting on a naive volunteer base to continue to solicit more funds.

Witness, “We have 100,000 petitions” in one comment. (psst, you need 380,000 valid signatures to qualify)

“We have had a number of questions about the number of petitions we are allowed to give out to individuals…”

There is no legal limit on the number of petitions that can be handed out. Donnelly knows this. Lauren Stephens knows this. This means that they are out of money and are having to ration petitions.

Every initiative / referendum campaign I have been involved in gives out petitions liberally to anyone that wants them… so seeing comments about the campaign needing to monitor all the petitions in real time suggests that they are indeed short of resources.

“Our goal is to turn in 400,000” – this is what you say when you know your effort is lackluster in order to lower expectations. This is similar behavior to past referendum campaigns that have failed spectacularly. Any seasoned campaign operative would understand that you need 1.5 times at least turned in to get the job done. If you are completely dependent upon volunteers, you should shoot for 1.8 times as the error rate amongst non-professionals is extremely high.

I believe the reasons why they are short of resources are that they are completely dependent upon the tea party for their support. Witness the banter on their campaign pages on social media.

Where are the democrats? There were several that voted against the bill. Where are the independents? Why is there no effort to broaden the base?

I believe another reason why they are short of money is that Tim Donnelly is reputed to be receiving advertising revenue for his fledgling radio show from the campaign. This is also alleged to be the reason why Mr. Donnelly was prevented from touring the USA with Donald Trump vis-a-vis, the Trump anti-illegal-immigration tour. (Trump did indeed invite Donnelly to participate)

I learned when investigating Tim Donnelly in 2014 that he is severely in debt. He is also reputed to be in debt to several former constituents of his assembly district. This suggests why he is pushing this ruse as far as he is – even the most attention starved would-be radio stars have limits.

Related to the referendum effort itself, it gets better – if you peruse the “official” SB277 referendum pages… besides seeing that a majority of the support is from out of state, you will see chatter about visiting the DMV, the Social Security Offices, Welfare Offices, etc.

Anyone that knows how to run an effort would tell you that doing any of the above could land you in hot water as the government workers would likely call the cops on you. Why is Lauren Stephens suggesting this? Was this some sort of a post in order to look legitimate?

So then, ask yourself is this thing real? If it is not real, then what other nexus is there for Tim Donnelly and Lauren Stephens other than personal aggrandizement and financial gain?

Meantime, other people that really care about the issue are finding out the brutal reality of the situation:

1. Donnelly is toxic, no one wants to be a part of anything he is headlining.

2. Donnelly is mistreating people that do not do 100% of what he wants them to

3. Lauren Stephens has been scorching the earth behind herself. (the sad fact is that she may be completely unaware of it)

4. Many would-be Donors are using Tim Donnelly as a Judas goat in order to not participate.

5. The supporters of the effort are continuing their paranoid conspiracies against Republican legislators.

No amount of pictures of the same boxes of petitions are going to change the reality. The SB277 referendum appears to be a scam and little more than a way for Tim Donnelly and Lauren Stephens to pay their bills. They need to come clean about what is being done with whatever money they have raised.

When I wrote that they could not afford to print petitions, I meant it. Printing 100,000 petitions (if indeed that assertion is the truth) in order to cover themselves publicly does not cut it. You need 380,000 signatures, you need 3-5 times that many petitions. With 60 days to go and with Mr. Donnelly and Ms. Stephens scorching the earth – the breaking point where it becomes impossible is coming quickly.

Will this charade be worth it to them? Or, worse do they really believe they can win given what they are doing?

Remember when I excoriated Karen England and Company over the AB1266 Referendum? Apparently, they have learned their lesson – partially.

After running what many believed was another fundraiser to Capitol Resource Institute, the thing got legs and damn near qualified.

After leaving California and trying to reinvent herself in Nevada – England got eviscerated in Nevada and appears to be back in California once again trying to run an AB1266 Initiative.

They are still obsessing over the “Bathroom Bill” aspect of the deal – which in a far-left state like California will not resonate the way the fairness in youth sports argument would. Far be it from me to criticize the superior intellects of Ms. England and co.

I think AB1266 is evil. I agree with any effort to overturn it and think those that voted in favor of it have violated the public trust they were elected to serve.

While I detest Karen England – I will endorse the concept of overturning AB1266. I can not and will not aid anything that directly or indirectly benefits the Capitol Resource Institute. I am not alone in that sentiment, which is why I believe that effort will fail.

However, I have been told that England has real professional help. (I wish it included a therapist, but I digress) This could ensure a legitimate effort that has potential to succeed. England has to win this or she is done. I am amazed at her psychotic persistence and how many political lives she appears to have.

This is quite different than the doomed SB277 referendum. It was borne out of the paranoid fantasy of a deranged non-Republican activist in Fresno.

She managed to get one of the most toxic figures in California Politics to front the effort. So far, they lack the funds to even be able to print the petitions if they get a title and summary from the AG’s office this week.

The individual behind the SB277 effort will seek to blame this blogger and the other individual who attempted to file a referendum for the failure of her effort.

However, her own behavior and what she did to more people than just us, along with Tim Donnelly will seal its’ doom.

The Bottom Line is that legislators on both sides will not be involved with anything Tim Donnelly – and Donnelly knows this.

The Bottom Line is that donors have used Donnelly as a Judas Goat in order to refuse to act, or they have used the age-old excuse of “Not getting in the middle of a fight” as an excuse.

So – while the petitioner satisfied her inner desire to get even with “the other guy”, she has succeeded in screwing the parents of California out of a chance for justice. Meantime, Tim Donnelly got another 15 minutes to delude himself he is important.

Man, California is screwed up.

P.S. as a total irony – Then Assemblymember Tim Donnelly was the lone vote in favor of the Confederate Battle Flag while running for governor in 2014. In light of current events, something about a broken clock and something about having no political awareness…
