Thanks to some extremely bizarre legislation in California, you can self identify as anything these days. It does indeed appear that my friends within the Riverside GOP have failed to do their due diligence on the Sheriff who is self-identifying as a Republican.
Mr. Sniff appears to be all over the board on a variety of issues. When doing research on the Sheriff, I learned that he appointed an LBGT Liaison Officer. I wonder if this was widely advertised?

Whether or not gay rights is your issue, the point here is one of priorities. The Good Sheriff has a bizarre set of them. A brand new jail has been languishing for quite a while due to “budget cuts”, yet we have an LGBT liaison officer. I’d assume to deal with the after affects of felons allowed to go free who assault them?
As I’ve been looking in to the Sheriff, I’ve identified a slew of things that are causing me to question everything everyone thinks they knew about him.
Let’s start at a basic question, Is Stan Sniff a Republican?
He is deign to give out CCW Permits, this is a proven fact we will discuss later, he has also given short shift to jails and corrections, another fact we will discuss later. Guns and Law / Order are two pillars of even the most moderate Republican’s platform.
It gets better – in the competitive State Senate District 31 in the middle of Riverside County, tax-raising left-wing “General” Richard Roth can count of Sheriff sniff to endorse and help re-elect him. Richard Roth voted to jack up your vehicle registrations, jacked up your gas taxes twice and helped usher in Cap and Trade which will light up the sky with your energy bills. Cap and Trade is the reason why Riverside County “Republican” Chad Mayes became public enemy number one and is expected to be in the fight of his life for re-election. So why not Stan Sniff? Sniff endorsed Roth in September of 2015, some 10 months before election day, in an effort to discourage any viable Republican from running against Roth, while in the same area Republican Assemblymember Eric Linder was ousted from office.
Sniff called Richard Roth a “True Champion for Public Safety”, yet Roth supported Prop 47 and Prop 57, get out of jail free cards for habitual career criminals. Under those propositions, you can visit the local markets and steal up to $950 worth of stuff and get an infraction. You can then do it repeatedly as those crimes do not pile up. Roth also supported making transmitting HIV a misdemeanor.
Lest you think Stan Sniff’s democrat tendencies are limited to the above, the good sheriff also added another disaster to his endorsement quiver. In 2012, he endorsed leftist democrat Cheryl Brown. Ms. Brown has been like Richard Roth on acid. Brown is so far out there that she has supported legislation so bad that even Governor Moonbean has vetoed it.
It is fair to say that Sheriff Sniff has no clear core convictions. It is also fair to say that Sheriff Sniff aided and abetted the largest tax increases, fee increases and regulatory increases in state history, in addition to the disasters known as Prop 47 and 57.
Does the Sheriff believe that the leftist Social Justice Warriors will come to his aid now that his tenure is seriously threatened? We are seeing an emerging pattern with Sheriff Sniff… stay tuned for more.
Why did this never appear in the Press Enterprise?
John Bender, Editor for the Press Enterprise of Riverside was in charge of making sure the Chad Bianco retaliation story came out. After it came out (01-04-18) sometime in late Jan 2018, he was transferred to the PE Rancho Cucamonga Office (located in San Bernardino County). He was with the PE of Riverside for 15 years.
When I spoke to him…. I asked him: Did they transfer you because of the Chad Bianco story.? His response: “Appears to be.”

It’s been long known, Sniff promotes those who donate to his campaign and those that can get him reelected. The promotion process is rigged from the get go and when a list comes out, he skips around and pulls people, like Purvis, from the bottom of the list, skipping more qualified people who tested better. RSA even went to Admin and asked them to start going down the list, rather than skipping around the list and they said no…. the promotion process is rigged and every employee knows it.
3kdep, I have theard of this numerous times. I have even heard there is currently a sergeant that has experienced this. He wasnt given any of the answers to the oral exam like others were, and still was able to score high on the oral exam, just to be passed over. It is not that hard to figure out who this sergeant is, since he is sitting at the number one spot on the Lieutenants list after being skipped over by 14 other sergeants. When asked why he was skipped over, the rumor is because he took a station morale building photo with Chad Bianco, and this pissed off the Sheriff. How dare this sergeant try to increase morale at the station and allow Lieutenat Chad Bianco, who also works at the same station, participate in building morale ! I am sure this sergeant will be mad at me for writting this, but I know he will not come forward for fear of discipline over this.
Same in story Banning when Purvis was police chief. During the the FBI raids on the Beaumont city council, Police Chief Coe and involved banks, there was an FBI investigation into the theft from a local charity. I had information re the theft at Carol’s Kitchen and called the FBI, Beaumont PD and Banning PD. BOTH police agencies refused my calls.
A forensic audit revealed that a lot of the stolen charity monies was taken by Banning businessman Johnny Russo to pay his child support but also he took a large chunk of money via Purvis to support BPAL dinner meetings at his restaurant that never took place.
I was sharing info with a Beaumont/Banning Patch journalist who after publishing one story about the theft, was mysteriously “laid off”. Honestly..this journalist sounded terrified when we last spoke..and he has since left the area. Cassie, a journalist with Press Enterprise also wrote maybe one story about the thefts and suddenly refused to write anything more about it.
Purvis was deeply connected to now convicted Beaumont police chief Coe’s city council and BPAL corruption and all signs pointed towards a cover-up.
Purvis, upon being called out, and being the pussy he is, developed severe stress and anxiety symptoms, couldn’t do his job, threatened suit against the city of Banning, went out on medical leave, blamed a council member, settled for a $300,000 pay-out, was immediately hired by Sniffles and stationed in Hemet to shadow Bianco.
Seems Sniffles and his supportive District Supes have power over the Press.
According to deps in personnel, they were ordered to NOT complete a full back ground check and rush him over to rso as a lateral. How many people could pass a back ground while they are currently out on disability. I guess the answer is one!
Purvis is a cancer.
Purvis is gonna be sucking his thumb and crying when Bianco wins.
