Travis Allen knows Dog Whistle Politics. However, now that the Dog Whistle has lit him up, Travis Allen is calling those with issues over his verified personal history “democrat plants”.

The San Jose Mercury News lit Travis Allen up for his history of contributions to democrats:

…in June 2011, Allen donated $500 to the campaign of Rep. Brad Sherman, D-Sherman Oaks, who made headlines this year for becoming the first member of Congress to introduce articles of impeachment against Trump.

Whoops, that’s not going to Make California Great Again.

In October 2010, Allen gave $250 to California Sen. Barbara Boxer, $250 to the state Democratic Party and $1,000 to Brown. The donation to Brown was made in the name of the financial planning firm Allen owns, Wealth Strategies Group. All of the other contributions to Democrats were made in his own name.

In 2012, when he ran for Assembly, he was the squish in the Primary. No one I knew endorsed him in Orange County.

Jon Fleischman wrote a nice piece in 2012 about Travis Allen’s donations. Say what you want, Jon Fleischman is an unassailable Conservative.

On the state side Allen gave donations to ACT Blue (a Dem PAC), Gavin Newsom for Lt. Governor, the California Democrat Party, and my personal favorite — his company gave $1,000 to the election of Jerry Brown for Governor one month before the 2010 election.

On the federal side Allen gave to the Democrat Party of Orange County (the same amount as he gave to the OC GOP, actually – some parity), the 4 Senate Victory Fund (which in turn made contributions to top Dem U.S. Senate targets, like Al Franken!), Brad Sherman for Congress, and (good grief) a check to help the re-election of Senator Barbara Boxer.

So, Travis Allen – was Jon Fleischman a democrat plant in 2012? Or will you man up and admit to the MAGA people you are deceiving that you are a liberal that registered Republican because of the area you ran in? Perhaps some honesty is in order, including explaining why the California Pro-Life Council endorsed John Cox and not you as an example of who the real Social Conservative is as well?

I will let my fellow democrat plant (Travis Allen’s words about his Republican opponents these days), Jon Fleischman sum it up:

Perhaps this is an intended consequence of Proposition 14 — Allen may feel that he can go out and make a case for Democrats to cross over and support him (I did check and Allen is running as a Republican).  I can certainly speak for myself, though, in saying that while I do not live in this district, if I did, I could not in good conscience vote for someone who thinks that elected and supporting these ultra-liberal politicians is a good idea.

Travis Allen has never been put to a serious test or through serious scrutiny before. Given how he is reacting to legitimate criticism of him, it is a clear indicator that he is unprepared for a hard-hitting governor’s race let alone the smash mouth politics and policy of actually being governor.

So Doug Ose is toying with a run for governor. Like Travis Allen, he is pro-choice and soft on the immigration issue. Like Travis Allen, you’d assume he would be playing to the Trump base. Unlike Travis Allen, Doug Ose was actually a Trump delegate to the Republican National Convention. This will create a bizarre dynamic between the two fighting for the Trump remnant in California.

As a Congressman, Doug Ose’s record is one that would fit in well with the Cap and Trade Republicans who claim that environmental extremism is the key to the promised land for the GOP. When he was not voting against the unborn victims of violence act 5 times, Ose voted for things like Mohair Subsidies and in opposition to drilling for oil at least 4 separate times. He also voted against even modest spending cuts and consistently for increased environmental regulations.

Currently, there are 2 GOP Spoilers running: a marginal candidate named Staysi Barth who has not raised enough money to file electronically and Travis Allen whose ceiling is no more than $500k. While Ose could write himself a check for $3-$5 Million Dollards, (remember, he set fire to $7.8 Million in 2008 attempting to win CA04 over McClintock) why would he?

Democrat John Chiang has raised a ton of money. Gavin any-two-three-four-or-moresome Newsom is the presumptive front-runner with a bank vault (and subject of sexual harassment allegations like many democrat officeholders). Delaine Eastin will get a few votes and a few dollars, and the erstwhile Rico Suave candidate (no, not Travis Allen) Antonio Villariagosa has a lot of money to spend as well…

Right now, with two also ran Republicans, John Cox has a decent chance of making the top-two runoff because of the four democrats with resources. With Doug Ose and several million of his own coming in to the race, the odds of 2 democrats making the fall runoff become an almost certainty. This will doom Republicans to depressed turnout once again with no candidates for major office on the fall ballot. This dynamic will make it difficult to defend the few congress seats we still have in California, while complicating efforts to get back over the 1/3 threshold.

No one that looks at the math can draw any other conclusion that a serious Doug Ose for Governor Campaign has the effect of eliminating Republicans from Contention all together.

Meanwhile, the GOP has no candidate for Controller or Treasurer. #EPICFAIL

It is always someone else’s fault in the world of Sheriff Sniff.

Articles we have here at Right on Daily show his pattern of attacking Riverside County Local Government for years and blaming them for decisions he is making. We are going to talk about these as the passive-aggressive behavior against CCW Permits (by deliberately short-staffing that department) is a deliberate act.

More than a few stories detail cuts in Jail Staffing and slow rolling more Jail Beds in Riverside County.

More than a few stories detail misplaced budgetary priorities. These priorities have been a source of friction between the Sheriff and the rank-and-file deputies for years.

Here is one recent example – Lt. Chad Bianco who is running against the Sheriff was “Re-Assigned” for most of 2015-2016 to a job in an isolated office and was put in a position where he could not interact with anyone else. This, while the Sheriff was publicly attacking the Riverside County Board of Supervisors over budgeting issues. Perhaps Bianco could have been working on the CCW Backlog?

Sniff’s control issues re-manifest as Bianco has been re-assigned again just recently to a similar dungeon.

There are other things the Sheriff has been doing to retaliate against political adversaries that we will be getting in to soon.

Suffice to say, the concept of retaliating against political adversaries is not new. Sniff was fired by the former Sheriff in 2006 as likely retaliation for his own ambition.

A lot of my friends in Riverside County believe that the bad blood between the Riverside Sheriffs and Sheriff Stan Sniff is rooted in the “Body Camera” issue. The deeper issue here is a Sheriff that is always making decisions to further his own political future with little or any regard for the privacy or rights of law enforcement officers. (Sounds like Obama, huh?)

Witness, this gem from several years ago:

The Sheriff deputies actually had to fight with the Sheriff regarding forced blood draws from deputies involved in shootings. The issue is the presumption of guilt and the officer being dehumanized in order to prove themselves innocent.

Perhaps stuff like this are reasons why the Sheriff is a darling of the ACLU?

Perhaps Sniff’s soft stance on enforcing ICE Deportation orders is another reason? Perhaps his flip-flopping on immigration enforcement (in advance of his re-election campaign) is another reason for confirm?

Perhaps the horrendous rate of early release of felons is another? (as the Sheriff stonewalls staffing jails)

While we are scratching the surface of the Sheriff’s Behavior and priorities, The entree in to a real discussion about the “Body Camera” fiasco has its’ genesis in the retaliation against Bianco and in the drama surrounding the forced blood draws. What is not clear is the Sheriff’s leadership. What is clear is that he needs to be in control regardless of the issue. What will also become clear is that he likes to scapegoat everyone he can not directly retaliate against. No Sheriff that cared about his men would even hesitate over a policy of forcing blood draws out of rank and file officers.

Next up – why Sheriff Sniff’s affinity for the ACLU, thus hanging a target on all of the cops in Riverside County should concern us all…

What a mess – “Men” at all levels of government and political leadership.

Bob Filner, as chronicled by CNN of all places: Filner is a former dem congressman and dem mayor of San Diego.

Former San Diego Mayor Bob Filner was sentenced Monday to 90 days in home confinement, three years’ probation, and a series of fines totaling about $1,500 for assaulting three women while in office.

The 71-year-old pleaded guilty in October to forcibly kissing or grabbing three women at campaign events or at City Hall — one a felony false imprisonment charge, the other two misdemeanor battery charges. Filner entered the guilty plea under a deal with prosecutors.

Please note that John Cox – whom I am helping with his Governor race provided the seed money to recall Bob Filner from office.

Filner can’t be the only politician with a trail like this: 13 women went on the record against him. And unlike the liars that accused President Trump, there was actually a prosecution. Unlike President Trump who has lit up his accusers, even causing one of them to double down with a lawsuit, Filner folded like a cheap lawnchair.

Democrat Assemblyman Raul Bocanegra? You’ll love this, he got establishment support and endorsements from people who knew what he did:

More than a half dozen sitting lawmakers gave money to his 2012 campaign for the Assembly, including then-Assemblyman Isadore Hall who served on the rules committee during the investigation, and Padilla, who by then had been elected to the state Senate. He was endorsed by the California Democratic Party. Bocanegra even won the endorsement of Sen. Ron Calderon – the victim’s boss, who she said knew about the groping incident when it occurred.

The victim, who filed a complaint with the Assembly Rules Committee, said Bocanegra’s behavior was widely known in Capitol circles at the time. The Assembly investigators interviewed 15 people in probing the complaint of Elise Flynn Gyore, now a chief of staff in the Senate, that Bocanegra stalked her like a predator around a downtown Sacramento club and grabbed her underneath her clothes in 2009.

That’s awesome, huh? I’ve heard about at least 3 more members of the legislature whose forays may come out in to the open. I wonder how many complaints the rules committee gets?

I’ve heard that Democrat Senate Majority Leader Kevin DeLeon is no saint himself and may well have some explaining to do of his own. It suggests that the recent move to hire investigators to review harassment claims may well be a cover up similar to Robert Mueller’s Russia Did it BS investigation in light of Fusion GPS and the Uranium One Scandal.

Some months ago, I was told of Chad Mayes saying, “Man I am so tired, I was at Bruno Mars last night…”

I suppose Chad Mayes is having a spectacular Mid-Life Crisis (google Narcissistic Rage for a clinical explanation). It has all the makings, an affair, fits of rage, a search for relevance and hearkening back to High School antics.

Now – you can join his Mid Life Crisis with the queen of Trump hate herself – Katy Perry. Nothing in politics happens by accident. Given that his staff, consultants and enablers are using social media on an almost daily basis to assert their authoritah over the rank-and-file Trump-supporting Republican base to remind them how wrong they are, you can draw no other conclusion that is a nexus for this event.

I am sure several of Chad Mayes’ enablers – see also donors, lobbyists, etc. will be there checks in hand to remind Chad of how right he was and how mean all those little people were for revolting.

If this is not enough – try this on for size. It is rumored and widely known in Sacramento that Anthony Rendon, the democrat Majority Leader (aka speaker) of the Assembly has given an order:

No credible democrat is to run against the Cap and Trade Republicans. If this is true, this is a serious boost to Marc Steinorth. It would also explain why Catherine Baker and Jordan Cunningham appear to have drawn no dem opposition. Since Rocky Chavez, Heath Flora, Devon Mathis and Chad Mayes are all in “safe” districts, a dem filing may not matter unless there are enough angry Republicans to vote for the real thing versus any of them. (Note: Devon Mathis will lose his primary to the Mayor of Viaslia, that is a prediction that we are solidifying and repeating)

With alleged polling showing every last one of these folks vulnerable to the right challenger in their area, it stands to reason why they would pledge allegiance to Rendon. It also informs us as to why Rendon has issued this edict (if indeed my two former dem legislators and one high-ranking union rep source are correct).

Then add the rumor I dropped last week about uncle moonbeam running a $5MM independent expenditure in support of the #capandtraitors and you have the full picture.

If you are part of the Cap and Trade Crew – you, too can join Chad Mayes to see Katy Perry to get away from Donald Trump, Republican Grassroots and bask in the glow of the burgeoning ecotopia known as California.

I will repeat my analogy that having Chad Mayes in Republican Leadership is like inviting Michael Jackson to your son’s slumber party. Someone is going to get violated repeatedly and given the pattern of Mr. Mayes (see also Narcissistic Rage) this pattern will continue until Gary Jeandron or Andrew Kotyuk dispatches him at the ballot box. Brian Dahle should remove him with extreme prejudice immediately and let the rest of us clean up the mess.
